Dr. Richard Poupard earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Northwestern University Dental School. While there, he received the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Award and the Compendium Award for Dental Research. Dr. Poupard completed his four-year Oral and Maxillofacial residency at Detroit Receiving Hospital, and he is Board Certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Poupard has a special interest in dental implantsurgery, including All-on-4procedure for complete dental arch restoration. Dr. Poupard resides in Midland with his wife Deb and theirfive children. In his free time he enjoys running and is an avid golfer.

Dr. Andrew Afshar is originally from Northeast Ohio, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and Natural Science from the University of Akron. He went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Case School of Dental Medicine in his hometown of Cleveland Ohio. After deciding to specialize in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery, he entered a residency program at the University of Southern California, where he also earned his Doctor of Medicine. After becoming interested in aesthetic surgery, Dr. Afshar completed an accredited cosmetic surgery fellowship at the Institute of Facial and Cosmetic Surgery in Murray, Utah.

Dr. Afshar is a dually-licensed dental specialist and physician. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. He is a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor society and has lectured nationally on cosmetic surgery.

Dr. Afshars interests include dental implant surgery as well as surgical and nonsurgical facial cosmetic procedures. He has a particular interest in full arch implant cases and has performed more than 1,000 during his career. He is an avid sports fan and plans on taking full advantage of Michigans beautiful lakes.

Dr. Nicole Stehle was born and raised in a small town in Central New York. She received her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry with a minor in Business at Siena College in Loudonville, New York and then obtained her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. After dental school she completed two Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery internships, one at Louisiana State University New Orleans and one at University of California, San Francisco- Fresno. Her four-year OMFS residency was completed at UCSF- Fresno in Fresno, California.

Dr. Stehles training is full scope with experience in dentoalveolar, implant, pre-prosthetic, facial trauma, head and neck pathology and reconstruction, orthognathic, craniofacial, TMJ, and cosmetic surgeries. While in residency she was the program liaison for ROAAOMS and the OMFS representative on the UCSF- Fresno Resident Council and the UCSF- Fresno GMEC Committee. Dr. Stehle also has an article being published in the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in June 2021. Dr. Stehle plans to pursue full scope OMFS with an emphasis on dentoalveolar, implant, pre-prosthetic, facial trauma, orthognathic surgery, benign head and neck pathology and reconstructive surgeries, and minor cosmetic procedures.

Dr. Stehle enjoys traveling, concerts, camping, hiking, going to the beach, and watching football and basketball games. She is moving to Midland to become an integral part of a smaller, well-knit community and explore all of the outdoor recreational activities that Michigan has to offer.

Shianne has been with the practice since 2001 in the financial services department. She is an experienced insurance billing specialist and helps patients maximize their insurance benefits for treatment in our practice. She also oversees the front office staffs daily tasks. She is a local to Midland with her husband, daughter, and golden retriever. In Shiannes free time, she enjoys gardening, golfing, bowling, and traveling to the Upper Peninsula for UTV trail riding whenever she can.

Dakota has been with the practice since 2010 in the financial services department. She is an experienced insurance billing specialist that works with patients to maximize their insurance benefits for treatment in our practice. Dakota also works as the practices Social media marketing specialist promoting online content. She loves helping people, is very creative, and loves anything chocolate. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband, children, and dogs outdoors.

Deb is responsible for communicating and cultivating relationships within the dental community. She works as part of the marketing team promoting our practice within the community. In her free time she enjoys reading, golf and spending time with her family.

Brandi joined Midland OMFS in 2021 as a member of the Front Desk team. She enjoys spending time with her husband and 4 children who seem to keep her very active. She has two dogs, Duke and Remi. In her spare time, she is typically on the sidelines at her childrens sports events. She and her husband enjoy spending time with their family and friends camping, having bonfires, and cookouts. She also loves home decorating and completing home projects.

Ashley has been with Midland OMFS since 2002. She started as a surgical assistant and now takes the role as the practices implant coordinator. Ashley is experienced in educating patients throughout the dental implant process and works with referring general dentists to ensure the process is as smooth as possible. She is married with two boys and they have a dog named Gemma. They enjoy spending time as a family watching their boys sporting events, boating, and camping.

Heather has been a surgical assistant with Midland OMFS since 2002. She has a Bachelor of Science degree from CMU. She enjoys spending time with her husband and their four children. Her hobbies include reading, hiking, backpacking, and traveling.

Amanda joined Midland OMFS in 2019. She loves working with the public and meeting new people. She is cross trained for both the front office and the surgical team. In her free time, she loves spending her time outdoors with her Son.

Kyiana joined Midland OMFS in 2020 as a surgical assistant after completion of the Ross dental assisting program. In her free time she loves boating, going up North and spending time with her daughter.
