Dr. Rachel Findlay grew up in a small town in Washington, where she spent her time horseback riding, participating in 4-H, and being a true country girl. She decided to become a dentist when she was 15 years old after she chipped a tooth while riding her horse. She never wavered from this decision and continually worked towards having a career in dentistry.

Dr. Findlay attended Brigham Young University for her undergraduate degree and then graduated from Oregon Health and Science University School of Dentistry in Portland, Oregon. After completing dental school, she moved to Las Vegas for a general practice residency program at UNLV. She received training in implant placement, IV sedation, root canals, oral surgery, and hospital dentistry. After completing her residency Dr. Findlay moved back to Washington where she practiced dentistry for several years before deciding to move to Utah.

One of Dr. Findlays favorite parts of being a dentist are the relationships that she is able to have with her patients and the impact that relationship can have on a patients oral and overall health. She understands that the dental office can be a very scary and intimidating place and it is her goal to make her patients feel as comfortable as possible.

Continuing to learn and stay up to date with the latest dental techniques and technology is also very important to Dr. Findlay as she wants to be able to provide the best care to her patients. Dr. Findlay is active in continuing education courses and has even gained extensive training in the use of Botox to help treat oral and facial pain.

Dr. Spencer Pugmire completed his undergraduate studies at Utah State University, after which he completed dental school at Roseman University. A year after working in Utah, he moved to Fort Worth, Texas to continue work as a general dentist, continuing to increase his knowledge in dental implants, cosmetic, and family dentistry.

Dr. Pugmires patients have always been his priority in his work, as such he makes it a point to attend continuing education courses regularly to constantly expand his clinical skills and provide the best possible dental care to his patients. He believes strongly in educating his patients so they have all the tools needed for a healthy, long lasting smile.

Dr. Pugmire is married to a wonderful dental hygienist, showing the love of teeth runs in the family! In his spare time Dr. Pugmire enjoys mountain biking, hiking, camping, spending time outdoors and serving those in his community. He has always had a love for travel, meeting and connecting with people.

Dr. Clark was born and raised in Ann Arbor, Michigan where he attended the University of Michigan School of Literature, Science and the Arts and the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. Dr. Clark excelled at the #1 ranked dental school in the country and graduated in the top five percent of his class with honors. He was the recipient of several awards including theOmikronKappa Epsilon graduate honor society award for academicexcellence in dentistry.

After graduating from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 1985, he moved to Northern Virginia. He is the founder of a very successful group dental practice that has provided the best dental care to all their patients for over 35 years and will continue to do so well after Dr. Clark's move to Utah.

Dr. Clark and his wife Nancy have come to the amazing State of Utah to immerse themselves in all that Utah has to offer. The outdoor life of all four seasons is perfect for their active lifestyle. In fact, it is so perfect that their three children and their spouses are rumored to be moving to Utah in the future.

Treating others as you want to be treated is the guiding principle of Dr. Clark's personal and professional life, a belief that he looks forward to bringing to all his patients at the Midland Dental and Orthodontics dental practice.With tremendous experience inall facets of general dentistry including orthodontics, dental implants, cosmetic dentistry and sleep apnea, Dr. Clark is greatly looking forward to the continuance of his professionalcareer in Utah.

Dr. Neal Esplin is a specialist in Pediatric Dentistry. He received his Bachelors of Arts in Spanish from Brigham Young University and completed Dental school at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond Virginia.

Dr. Allen was born in Salt Lake and raised in Ogden, Utah. He attended Ogden High School where he was on the debate and tennis team. When he graduated high school he then attended Weber State University where he met his wife. After Weber State University, he went to Washington and attended the University Of Washington School Of Dentistry for 4 years and graduated with Honors in 2000. He then attended University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry Department of Orthodontics. Dr. Allen graduated in 2003 with a Certificate in Orthodontics and MS in Oral Sciences. Dr. Allen has lived and had practiced in Idaho Falls and El Paso. He loves learning and applying new techniques to his approach in Orthodontics.

When Dr. Allen is not in the office he enjoys spending time with his wonderful wife Erin, a hopeless anglophile, hes ever grateful she married him in spite of his lack of a British accent. He has four beautiful daughters Taylor, Daphne, Ainsley, and Romni. They also have 5 family mascots! Two dogs named Lhotse, a German shepherd/husky mix and Beasley, a mini golden doodle. A cat black cat named Lucky, a guinea pig named Casper, and a chameleon named Skittles. He also enjoys travelling, skiing water and snow playing tennis, mountain biking, fly fishing, reading, working on his house and Jeep, attending and participating in church activities.

Dr. Paul Mackley graduated from Oklahoma University College of Dentistry 1988, graduating in the top 10% of his class with honors. He gained valuable experience the first five years of practice in performing complex procedures mentoring with Dr. J. Reed Mackley.

He is comfortable with all aspects of dentistry and surgeries including wisdom teeth, implants, all cosmetic procedures and all root canals. Major reconstructive cases are the most enjoyable to him. He has instructed younger dentist in various procedures and has done humanitarian work in Central America for going on seven years.

Marcela graduated at the top of her class from Fortis College in Salt Lake City and received the Hu-Friedy Golden Scaler Award for achieving a high standing in clinical dental hygiene. Marcela is passionate in serving her spanish speaking community here in Roy, Utah and has acted as a voice for her community throughout her dental career.

Marcela has been in the dental field since 2003 and loves the fact that everyone in our office shares the same vision: providing the best care to our patients. Marcela has dedicated her professional life to being an advocate to health and wellness to her patients and her community.
