Dr. Amie is a board certified pediatric dentist who grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia and made her way to New York to study economics/pre-dentistry at NYU where she graduated with honors. She then continued her dental education at Temple University where she had the opportunity to participate in dental mission trips to Honduras and the Dominican Republic to help serve those without access to dental care. She returned to NYC to complete a general practice residency at St. Barnabas Hospital, followed by a specialty training program in pediatric dentistry at Maimonides Medical Center where she served as chief resident.
Dr. Amie grew up in a large family and always had an inclination towards working with children. She knew at a young age that she wanted to pursue a career in dentistry as she suffered from dental phobia herself as a child. This led her to want to help change that for future generations of children, making pediatric dentistry a perfect career for her. She truly believes in giving each child a positive experience, and hopes to help alleviate fear in dental phobic patients by making every dental visit friendly and fun.
Outside the office, Dr. Amie loves traveling, volunteering, exploring the city, trying new restaurants, and spending time with family/friends. She is excited to provide quality care for you and your family with a smile!
Dr. Sera is a board certified pediatric dentist. She was born and raised in Central New Jersey and received her Bachelors Degree in Biochemistry from Barnard College of Columbia University and her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University College of Dentistry. She completed her General Practice Residency at JFK Medical Center in Edison, NJ in 2012, and her Pediatric Dental Residency shortly thereafter at St. Barnabas Hospital in Bronx, NY.
Dr. Sera loves working with children and especially takes pride in helping the most fearful children enjoy their time at the dentist. She has been a volunteer for KinderSmiles and Give Kids a Smile, providing free dental evaluations and care for underserved children. She continues her passion for learning through continuing dental education courses. Dr. Sera is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
Elaine is a Registered Dental Assistant who counts working in dentistry as one of the most wonderful experiences. Throughout her career, she has had wonderful mentors and friends in the dental field who have helped her be the best dental assistant she can be. She has a passion for dentistry that is unmatched and will always go above and beyond for all her patients. She loves working with her amazing coworkers who are experienced, warm, and compassionate. We are not just a working office, we are a family!
Eliane is a proud mom of three beautiful children; Kristy, Steven, and Nicholas. She grew up in Long Island, NY and moved to Middletown 21 years ago. She lives living so close to the beach, fishing, and boating.
Amandahas been in the dental field for over 15 years and became a Dental Hygienist in 2011. You will find that she is compassionate, able to put her patients at ease and ensures a positive, friendly dental experience.Amandais very dedicated to the dental health care profession and makes sure all of her patients feel comfortable and leave the office feeling great about their oral health and well being.
Gail is the newest member of our team.She comes to us with over 20+ years of experience in healthcare, marketing, sales, and teaching.She is thrilled to be part of a dynamic team and loves seeing the children leave the office with huge smiles!

I brought my 4 y/o in for a cleaning. From the moment we walked in the staff made my daughter feel welcome and not scared. They asked her what show she wanted to watch & put it on for her. They had an elaborate lego setup in the waiting room that was a big hit. It was obvious they take a lot of pride and care for each one of their patients. I'd rate 10 stars if that were an option. After we left, My daughter asked if she can go back to the dentist!!!

My 3 year old loves going to the dentist now. After we left, he kept talking about going back to the dentist. Everyone is very friendly and everything at the practice is geared towards reducing the friction that comes with trying to get toddlers to cooperate with reality.

We recently switched to Middletown Pediatric Dental and they have been outstanding! They are so accommodating, gentle and friendly. The staff goes above and beyond from the moment you walk thru the door. My son absolutely loves he can watch his favorite show while the dentist is working on his teeth. It's the little things like that count and make our visits easier.

My twins had their first appointment at the office this morning and it was fantastic! Everyone in the office was so friendly and kind!! Dr. Hoque explained everything so well and made the kids feel comfortable. I recommend this practice!

We've been coming to MPD for over a year now and they don't play around with providing smiles! Dr. Sera and her team are fabulous, they go the extra mile in delivering the best care. My five-year-old daughter had to get a tongue thrust application earlier this year and everyone was so involved in the process. Taylor at the front desk, would call or text regularly to give updates from the orthodontist, and when my schedule got in the way they took care of things without us having to worry about calling the insurance company or delaying the process. We also got a good deal for an out-of-pocket service. The kids enjoy coming to the office- it is always so welcoming, fun, and a clean environment.

There is so much I can say about this place. My kids have been with them for almost two years. First off, the ladies in the front are always so kind and helpful. My son had a bad toothache the first time we came to them. I called for an appointment in the morning and they were able to squeeze my son in that same day. He came in as a new patient with a really bad toothache and they took care of it immediately. They were very patient and empathetic with the whole situation. My son had a lot of anxiety coming in but they made him feel at ease throughout the whole procedure up to the moment we left. Till this day they continue to take care of his teeth and now my new baby as well. Thank you Middletown Pediatric Dental for such great care.

Warm and welcoming environment for my daughter's first dental appointment! The staff was very accommodating and kind. They let her pick a show for the TV, gave her stickers, and made it the least intimidating experience it could be. Very happy with our visit.

My daughter needed quite a bit of dental work done. She was also afraid of dentists, because of a previous bad experience elsewhere. Middletown Pediatric Dental was understanding and compassionate. They made her feel safe. They were very professional. As a brand new patient they got her in to see the dentist immediately, same day we first called. They made her a priority because they didn't want her to have any pain. She ended up needing sedation services; which they coordinated quickly and easily. Very happy with Middletown Pediatric Dental, and would recommend to anyone.

My children (8 & 5) both receive care at Middletown Pediatric Dental. The staff here is so loving and caring of my children. I appreciate how patient and understanding they are with my kids. My children are vastly different in their tolerance of pain, of new things, and of intrusive procedures. Both have had cavity fills and X-rays and beyond. Both are treated wonderfully based on their individual needs in regards to not only their teeth but also their temperament. The rooms are clean and modern. The distracting tvs are a bonus and we NEVER have to wait in the waiting room (sometimes this is a complaint to my son who would love to try out their games!) Overall pleased and happy.

Middletown Pediatric Dental is the most child friendly pleasant dentist's office ever! Our children love going there. They have a TV on the ceiling that our son just stares at during his cleaning. It's a very pleasant atmosphere with a very friendly staff. 5 stars!

Great experiences here! The staff is so helpful. We had some issues with our insurance (the insurance company was at fault) and the staff communicated with us and our insurance company to resolve all issues. They are so sweet to our kids. They make going to the dentist a positive experience for our kids which makes it so much easier for us. TV above the chairs to distract the kids. Choices of tooth paste, baggie gifts at the end. It truly makes the kids feel safe and comfortable.

My children absolutely love going to Middletown Pediatric Dental. The office is clean and modern. The staff is always very friendly and accommodating. There is a TV on the ceiling for the kids to watch while they're sitting in the dental chair. My 3yr old son who is normally very fidgety and doesn't particularly like to be messed with, sat completely still and just stared at the television and didn't fuss at all during his cleaning or the procedure he needed. Both the dentist and the hygienist are very professional and very sweet. I'm so thankful that we found Middletown Pediatric Dental!
