Though born and raised in Wisconsin, Dr. Shalane Hundt completed her undergraduate studies in Biology at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. She returned to this great state to complete her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Marquette University School of Dentistry. She always strives to create a comfortable and caring environment for her patients where together, they can create personalized dental solutions that give the patient back the confidence to show off their smile. Dr. Hundt is a member of the American Dental Association and the Wisconsin Dental Association. As a new Madison area resident, she loves exploring the beautiful sites and locations. She is also an avid dancer, cyclist, and runner and enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Hailing from Green Bay, Wisconsin Dr. Sydney Johnson completed her undergraduate education at Upper Iowa University and went on to receive her doctorate in dentistry from Marquette University in 2020.
Throughout her training, Dr. Johnson has developed a strong treatment philosophy of patient-centered care and understands that everyones dental needs are unique. Dr. Johnson strives to help patients find confidence in their oral health and aims to make every patient feel at ease while providing a positive experience for all ages.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Johnson enjoys spending time with her husband, and can usually be found at the gym or trying out new recipes at home. Dr. Johnson enjoys spending time outdoors and is excited to explore new places in the Madison area!
Sami Kawas earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at The University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston. His post-graduate work following dental school included NYU Langone Hospitals (Advanced Education in General Dentistry), Alabama Implant Education training, and completion of the Comprehensive Implant Residency Program. Dr. Kawas is an experienced dentist with clinical expertise in dental surgery, implants, and IV sedation.
Beyond dentistry, he loves swimming, hiking, and traveling with his wife. He also enjoys reading medical and surgical journals to stay on the leading edge of the latest advancements in modern medical and dental health.
