Dr. Cross is a member of the American Dental Association, the Connecticut State Dental Association, the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine, the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Academy of Forensic Sciences.
Dr. Cross and his wife live in Portland, Connecticut, and enjoy spending time with their children and grandchildren. In his free time, Dr. Cross loves barbequing and making custom knives, and is a custom car enthusiast.
Dr. Gatehouse completed his General Practice Residency at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford, Connecticut. He is also a member of the Spear Dental Continuing Education Study Club, an organization designed for dentists that are committed to the pursuit of clinical excellence in dentistry.

As far as going to the dentist goes, Middlesex Dental is about as amazing of an experience that one could ever hope for! Friendly and attentive staff listen and put you at ease while they work. Oh, and special shout-out to my hygienist, Amy, for scraping my teeth into bespoke little monuments to dental perfection.

Dr Gatehouse took me right in when I had an issue this Morning! All the staff is kind, caring and informative. Dr. Gatehouse is an excellent dentist and craftsman. I feel very confident and an not having the major anxiety I used to have going to my other dentist.

Love Peggy. She's been cleaning my teeth for almost 40 years. The new office is beautiful and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Cross is great.

I've always hated going to the dentist, but since discovering middlesex dental I now don't mind. Peggy is my hygienist and she is knowledgeable and wonderful. Dr. Gatehouse handles my Invisalign and the experience has been great so far! Dr. Cross is my dentist and he has always done a great job. The supporting staff are also warm and pleasant.

They were short handed but they still kept my wait time to about 10 minutes. They usually have three dentist available at all times. The new dentist is starting in August.

Beth Meglin is the best dental hygienist of all hygienists that I have experienced in my 78 years. Dr Cross is the best dentist also. Why? After 15 life corporate moves and 5 temporary temporary assignments within those full household transfers, I can say I have a much better perspective on dental care than the average individual. And these pros at Middlesex Dental are the best ever in my lifetime.

I went in for a possible cavity. Turns out not a cavity after all. The doctor that helps was very good and did have to know me up which she also was very good at. Overall good experience.
