Dr. Mandava received his doctorate in dental surgery from New York University, College of Dentistry in 2004. While attending NYU he experienced working at several facilities and gained valuable knowledge by assisting with many complicated surgical procedures. He has practiced restorative and oral surgery and cosmetic surgery for more than 12 years and now owns the practice here in Middlebury, Connecticut.
Dr. Mandava is a member of the American Dental Association, Connecticut State dental Association and local dental societies. He is dedicated to continuing his education year after year and keeps up with the newest advances in technology today. He has implemented the CEREC CAD CAM same-day crowns technology to our practice along with using the most minimally invasive instruments for a modern practice with the use of laser and digital x-rays.
I am dedicated to providing the utmost comprehensive care addressing to each patients needs and focusing on their treatments. I have a great team of very knowledgeable staff and they are very courteous and caring individuals.
Maurine joined our team in 2016 as the Office Manager with 16 years of experience in the dental field. She brings with her a diverse dental background, working both with front desk and management positions. She is very knowledgeable with dental coding and the complex world of dental insurances.
Shortly before graduating from Porter and Chester Institute, (December 2009) Carly joined the practice on a 6 week externship program. The team took me under their wing and taught me the fundamentals of dental assisting. Not only that, taught me how important it was to treat every patient as one of our family members. Every visit and every patient is treated with the best care to make them feel comfortable with the treatments. I was hired as a full-time employee and I am very gratefulto be here every day.
Kelly is a 2016 graduate of the Porter and Chesters Dental Assisting program. She decided to go into the dental field because she wanted to help patients feel comfortable in what is thought to be an uncomfortable place. Raising her two children brought her to realize how important it is to teach them and allow them to recognize the benefits of dentistry and get them to overcome an unnecessary fear of dental care. Now, with her understanding for a persons fear of dental work, it has allowed her to do exactly that. Kelly is always there for patients with a caring comforting hand to hold.
Lynn is a graduate of Fones School of Dental Hygiene, University of Bridgeport. She has been with the practice for 24 years. Lynn lives in Watertown with her husband Chris, and sons Michael and Billy. The best part of my job is connecting with patients and educating them to achieve optimal oral health
Kim is a 1998 graduate of Tunxis Community College with over 20 years experience as a dental hygienist. She understands how to make patients dental visits comfortable, listens to her patients concerns, and works to ensure patients look forward to their next visit. Kim is proud to be a part of the wonderful team at Middlebury Dental Group.
