I am a graduate from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor in 1984. I am a fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy as well as a member of the American Dental Association, the Maine Dental Association, the Seacoast Esthetic Dental Association and the Midcoast Dental Society.
I am a graduate of the University of Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. Upon graduating, I completed an additional year of residency training in a program for the Advanced Education of General Dentistry. I am a member of the American Dental Association, Maine Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
In my spare time I enjoy creating sculpture. I employ various methods such as casting, welding, and digital manufacturing. Besides providing me with an endless creative outlet for the last 30 years, it has allowed me to develop and perfect many detail orientated skills and techniques also found every day within dentistry.
One of the very best parts of my day is watching my patients realize how painless, easy, honest, and kindhearted a dental visit can actually be. My continual commitment to education allows my patients access to the best possible quality of care for each of their individual oral health care needs.
As a long standing patient of Dr. Randys, my family and I always received the best care and personal treatment. I am proud to now say that I can contribute to that ongoing reputation and relationship. Each and every day we are committed to providing the highest level of service to each of our patients.
At home, I am the proud Mom of two wonderful sons and a stepson. My husband and I spend our summers being part of a terrific group at a local campground, and winters we dream of the day we become snowbirds.
I work hard to exceed expectations. Having patients recognize me when I am out and about in the community is great because then I know I have made a connection. I couldnt be happier than when I am developing relationships with patients. I cant wait to assist you!
Being born and raised in Maine has been great, and the Midcoast has been my favorite area by far. I have been part of the MidCoast Family Dentistry Team since 2010, and have enjoyed every minute of it. I have always had an attraction to the medical field and helping people live healthier lives. My interests really come down to helping people in countries that cannot afford good dental care, like Haiti.
I received my Associates of Science in Dental Hygiene degree in 2009 and am currently working toward a Bachelors in Applied Sciences. Outside of work I enjoy reading, baking, gardening, playing the piano and singing, spending time outdoors and being involved at my church.
In the short time I have worked with the team at MidCoast Family Dentistry, I have found it to be an easy fit. I was born and raised in this area, and I love it so much, I cant see myself anywhere else.
When I am not working I like to take in all this area has to offer by hiking and seeing the sights. I really enjoy doing this with my family as much as I can. I am excited to meet you and see how I can be of service.

I am happy that I found a practice that offers patients state of the art technology and expert care. I was given treatment options that were explained and I was able to schedule future visits with ease. I have been going to Midcoast Family Dentistry for several years now. I am a senior citizen and have had many different dentists throughout my life. I must say that the staff is like a family...hmm, it's in their name and fits the employees and they manner that they truly care. They have fixed past procedures that went bad and made them not just good but awesome...as they all are. I highly recommend you give them a call!

Best damn dentist around. Dr. Tom comes from New York, because he understands that Maine needs good providers too. He employs a hard working, kind, professional, and compassionate staff. Every single person I interacted with took the time to listen to me and take me seriously. Everyone was on the same page, and my sensitivities/medical issues were always taken into consideration. Dr. Tom wasted no time letting me know exactly what was happening with my teeth and didn't overcomplicate things or make me feel bad for my issues, nor did he push anything on me that wasnt necessary or overcharge for ANYTHING. I'm a bit sad that my particular problem cannot be helped at the local office, and its really a shame that we don't have a periodontal specialist nearby, but Dr. Tom genuinely cares about his patients and I'll be happy to be one of them for as long as I live here/as long as he's around. Thank you for all your compassion and expertise! Looking forward to being a patient of your practice for the long haul.

My husband and I recently relocated to Maine. I checked 2 other dentist in the area and settled on Midcoast Family Dentistry. I'm thrilled I did! Tammy and Dr. Clemente were amazing and the customer service outstanding. The office is clean and well equipped with today's practices. I even enjoyed the music they had playing throughout the office! Thank you to everyone at MFD for a great experience. I'm looking forward to my next cleaning!

Dr Randy and Dr. Tom are the two best dentists I've ever been to in my life. I wish I had become their patient much earlier. They and their staff make you feel as relaxed as you possibly can when you are in the chair. They take time to answer your questions and concerns as well as making sure you are comfortable. Highly recommend!!!

Exceptional dental practice and professional staff. A front tooth cap came off and the office got me in immediately to repair it. Very grateful for that. My dentist was personable and fun to work with. All I was charged was my xray. I highly recommend this office.

First visit as establishing dental care. Everyone was super friendly and professional. Really listened as they took my history. Very gentle during the cleaning. Dr. Tom discussed some preventive care in clear and concise manner, but no hard sell. Left the decision to me. I could not be happier. So glad I found Midcoast Family Dentistry!!

My family has been happy with Dr Randy and this practice for over 30 years now. Today I was there only for a cleaning, which was done very well by Jillian. She is good, effective, thorough, gentle, and extremely polite. This is not uncommon with Midcoast Family Dentistry. Have never had a bad experience here but today went especially well.

The whole experience today, on my initial visit, was exceptional. The staff were all very friendly and professional, the cost was extremely fair and clarified prior to treatment. Dr. Clemente is very easy going yet completely professional. He took plenty of time discussing the pros and cons for the various options available for me and did not push for a decision right away. The treatment plan was clear and reasonable based on our discussion and there was availability to start within a week, but no pressure to do so. I recommend this practice very highly.
