Kendall F. Horn, D.M.D. and the members of our team are dedicated to serving our community with advanced treatments and comprehensive education. We believe that professional dentistry should not just enhance your smile, it should also improve your overall well-being. Recent studies have shown an intrinsic relationship between your oral, bodily, and mental health.
After that, Dr. Horn served as an Assistant Professor in General and Hospital Dentistry at the LSU School of Dentistry from 1988 until 1992. He also worked in private practice in Louisiana from 1988-1997. He returned to Oregon with his family, and he started practicing at Mid Valley Family Dental in 1998.
Dr. Horn is passionate about educating patients about their dental needs and then guiding them to the most appropriate treatment. He enjoys seeing patients of all ages and building relationships that last many, many years. He also welcomes the opportunity to share his interests in the outdoors, fishing, cooking and general remodeling. Dr. Kendall Horn has the training and experience to offer a broad range of dental services to you and your family. Patients return year after year because they appreciate how Dr. Horn individualizes their treatment and works within their dental budget. Dr. Horn's philosophy is to take the time to clearly explain your treatment options and to help you make the decisions that are in your best interests.
Anna Maria has been working in our office as a dental hygienist since 2005. She graduated with honors from the Portland Community College Dental Hygiene Program in June 2005. Anna Maria is a native of Germany and worked as a Registered Nurse in intensive care in Germany before moving to Portland in 1996. She is compassionate, has a gentle touch, and strives to provide thorough care that is tailored to meet each person's specific needs. Her interests include mountain climbing, hiking, traveling, reading and volunteer work in dentistry.
Robert's commitment to quality dental hygiene services is far beyond most patients expectations. His focus of patient care and education creates a healthy, positive hygiene experience. Robert has been a co-therapist of hygiene services with Dr. Horn for nearly 14 years. When Robert is not working chair side, he is a world traveler and always has an adventurous story to share with everyone.
Andrea graduated in February 2012 from Concorde and has been with Dr. Horn since November 2011. She is a noble, happy person that always has a smile on her face. One thing she has learned in this profession is that 'a smile goes a long way!' She feels very lucky to work with a friendly staff, wonderful doctor, and greatly enjoys using her bilingual skills daily.
Ana has been a Bilingual Dental Assistant since 1999. Since joining Mid Valley Family Dental in 2014, she has enjoyed meeting new people, getting to know families, and developing relationships with patients. She is passionate about helping patients achieve good oral health and beautiful smiles.
Outside of our office, she is a family-oriented person. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, including her cats and dogs. For entertainment, she enjoys: exercising, supporting her husband/son at concert events, watching comedy and family movies.
Sarah joined our office in February of 2017 as a Dental Assistant and has been in the dental field since 2013. She has worked all aspects of the office and is confident that she can help you with your needs. She is very compassionate, making it easy for her to ease your anxiety and make your dental visit as comfortable as possible. She feels the transition to Mid Valley Family Dental has been easy as all of the patients and staff have been incredible to work with.
Outside of the office, she is very family-oriented. If she is not with her family, she is generally out riding her horses. Barrel racing is her passion, so you might just find her at some of the local rodeos.
Bob brings the artistic nature to the practice. His fabrication skills in creating partials, dentures, night guards, bleaching trays, and surgical stents are impeccable. These skills can be attributed to his 35 years of experience and flawless attention to detail. Dr. Horn has been lucky enough to work with Bob since the beginning; he came with the original building! When Bob is not customizing our patients' new smiles, he is at home with his wife, visiting with his two children, or possibly creating remarkable wood carvings. Bob is happiest when he is creating.
Miriam joined Mid Valley Family Dental in January 2017 and in the Dental field since 2011 using her bilingual skills. Since arriving at Mid Valley Family Dental she has been embraced lovingly by the patients and all the staff.
She was born in Mexico and has been in Woodburn for the past 23 years. Miriam comes from a family of 9, so family is very important to her. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two boys, as well as her siblings, watching movies, getting ice cream, or playing card games, as well as Margaritas.

Me and the rest of my family have been clients for many years and we very pleased to come to them for any type of service. Mid Valley Dental knows each person my their and much better they know what exactly you need/s at a very low cost. Just an FYI, they have bilingual staff that speak Spanish for those folk that communicate better in Spanish. Thank you Dr. Horn and all your staff for all the great service and for being part of our community.

Best place on earth to get dental care. Had this dentist for 11 years and he's really proactive with his dental treatment and his dental hygienists are very knowledgeable and informative. His office manager is really great about scheduling. I know all their names but don't have time to type them out. Haha I'm 38 and I take my dental health very seriously because dental health/habits is very telling as to your overall health as well. My kids are now adults and use him as well. I'd give 100 stars if I could. I have a beautiful smile and healthy teeth because of this practice. I have to move out of state, but I would take the entire building with me if I could. Ha!

I love being cared for by Mid Valley Family Dental. Dr. Kendall Horn. I get excellent care! The employees are like family, the atmosphere is very relaxing, they don't keep you waiting, my hygienist is so gentle and understanding. Dr. Horn is so caring and attentive. My first visit was a same day appointment. They were able to make room for me, was having dental pain. I recommend this office 100% front staff and back office to Dr.Horn are so nice and humble. Make you fell so welcomed. Since then I been a established patient.

I've had 3 visits to Mid Valley Dental and it has been exceptional! They are friendly and professional....and they treat you like family! I've always had a fear of dentists but not anymore!
