Dr. Wockenfus treats over 2800 patients from 10 different cities, traveling as far as 150 miles. Dr. Wockenfus is the CEO of Mid-Valley Dental, bringing over 20 years of dental experience to the Fox Valley. He has Bachelors of Science degrees in Microbiology and Chemistry from UW-Lacrosse and his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Marquette University in Milwaukee. Following graduation, Dr. Wockenfus was chosen to train at Zablocki Veterans Hospital and gained even more experience working with specialists in oral surgery, endodontic, prosthodontic, and restorative dentistry. He remains devoted to dentistry and his patients by continuing his education.
Dr. Wockenfuss' most recent accomplishment includes completing training for the Chao Pinhole Surgical Technique, Gum Rejuvenation by John Chao, DDS, MADG in Alhambra, CA. Dr. Wockenfus also completed training provided by one of the most noted dental educators in the world, Dr. Frank Spear. Spear Education is a training program that features lectures and hands-on courses to provide the highest level of dental education in restorative and aesthetic dentistry. Dr. Wockenfus is now mentoring future dental students in their effort to achieve mastery level clinical and technical skills at the Tri-County Community Dental Clinic.
Courtney joined the team of Mid Valley Dental in July 2015, returning back to the Fox Cities from the beautiful mountains of Hendersonville, NC. She has worked in the dental field since 2007, gaining knowledge from a practice dedicated to helping children as well as a multi-doctor/hygienist practice treating patients of all ages.
Sonya joined the team of Mid-Valley Dental in 2008, she brought a wealth of enthusiasm and knowledge to the team, she has a lot of knowledge in patients dental insurance and can help you maximize and get the best out of your benefits.
Janelle graduated from Fox Valley Technical College with an applied science in dental hygiene degree. She loves to help people be comfortable with their dental visit and understand the connection between a 'healthy mouth' and a 'healthy body.'
Paula is a 2003 graduate of Fox Valley Technical College. With her years of practicing, she has learned many techniques to make each patients' visit more comfortable and ways to communicate the importance of brushing, flossing and preventing or maintaining Periodontal Disease for better whole body health.
Pam is a graduate of the Marquette University Dental Hygiene program. She started working in a periodontal practice and joined Mid-Valley Dental in 1986. Over the years there have been many advances in technology, with computers and equipment and it continues to change daily. Pam believes that this helps our patients receive the best care to assist them to improve and maintain good dental health. She enjoys working with each person and individualizing their needs and concerns for a great smile.
Sandi has been a dental assistant since 1995. She chose to become a dental assistant because of her desire to help people and because she enjoys the variety of work that is offered on a daily basis. Employed at Mid Valley Dental since 2003. Sandi loves that technology is always changing for the comfort and ease of the patient.
When Sandi is not meeting the needs of patients, you will find her spending time with her husband and 2 adult children. Cooking/baking, sewing, and photography are a few of her hobbies. Family vacations to warmer climates are also enjoyed.
Whitney is a graduate from Fox Valley Technical College. Her favorite part about working in the dental field is the variety of services and technology it has to offer for patients. She enjoys the family-friendly atmosphere and patient relations at Mid-Valley Dental.

UPDATE +****. I'M VERY UNHAPPY WITH THIS PLACE. I WENT TO THEM FOR A CRACKED TOOTH THAT CRACKED FOR A SECOND TIME BUT A MUCH BIGGER PIECE FELL OUT. I ASKED TO PULL IT BUT SAID WHY NOT FILL IT AND SAID THEY WOULD PUT A TEMPORARY FILLING IN FOR FREE BUT ENDED UP PAYING $100 FOR THE EXAM. DIDN'T UNDERSTAND BUT THEY HAVE BEEN GOOD IN THE PAST. FILLING FELL OUT A COUPLE OF DAYS LATER SO THAT WAS A WASTE OF MONEY FOR THE EXAM WENT THROUGH OTHER VISITS FOR ME AND MY DAUGHTER. I WAS BEING TOLD THAT INSURANCE WAS SHOWING THAT I WOULD OW MORE MONEY. I JUST WASN'T UNDERSTANDING BUT OK. SO GOT MY INSURANCE EOB SO CALLED INSURANCE. WAS TOLD THAT THEY WERE OUT OF NETWORK. THEY TERMINATED THEIR CONTACT IN 12/20. THEY NEVER SAID ANYTHING EVEN WHEN I WAS PUZZLED THAT I HAD TO KEEP PAYING THIS MONEY. I CAN'T BELIEVE WHAT POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE THEY HAVE BY NOT INFORMING PEOPLE ABOUT CHANGES THEY MADE. haven't been to the dentist musical success, Rihanna spends time with her family including her mom, dad, and brothers COVID. And before that I was at the dentist once in about 3 years. I'm very picky with dentists. Everyone was welcoming and friendly. Willing to answer any questions. I walked out today feeling great and confident about my dental future. I received an indepth tour and a full explanation of what was going on and what needs to be done. My daughter even commented her teeth didn't hurt after like it did with the last dentist. They even gave me a welcome gift.

I needed a place in a hurry, because of tooth pain. They got me in right away, the very day I called, took care of the bad tooth, and have since, come up with a plan to take care of my dental needs. The staff here is very friendly and personable, making your comfort and knowledge of what's going to happen next a priority. I highly recommend them for anyone in need of a dental care.

Again I can repeat: Again, i was NOT disappointed. Had my teeth cleaned with oral exam. So glad i switched to Mid Valley Dental last a year ago. This is my 6 month cleaning. Very professional. All procedures are explained so i know what to expect. I now have dental included on my United Healthcare Medicare Walgreens plan. My exam and X-rays are paid for. Love plan and Mid Valley Dental

Great staff and Dr. Wockenfuss is amazing. Update: I had my first visit with Dr. Andrew De Wet today and it was wonderful, well, as wonderful as a dentist visit can be. He was very thorough, meticulous and friendly. A great addition to my favorite dental office.
