Visited here a while ago, my proposed treatment plan was extensive!!! I got a second opinion which was entirely different and way less invasive. I would never go here again. My impression is that they are all about the money.

Never saw the same dentist twice over a two year period, because the dentists on staff kept leaving the firm. I too was given a story about having cavities, a needed change of an existing bridge and a new root canal under the bridged tooth; to the tune of several thousand dollars, of course. 2nd opinion at a private practice dentist, instead of this corporately owned Mid TN DENTISTRY, yielded all were lies. They are ripping people off!!!!!! They have quotas to meet and YOU are how they meet them, through unneeded dental work! RUN to another dentist if you are a patient here.

I went here about five years ago, so this review may be obsolete relative to my experience and the doctors on staff now. Either way, it ought to be shared. I went for a routine cleaning and exam, first time since moving to TN the year before. I was told I had eight cavities (never had any in my life). To save money, I opted to only do a couple at a time. I got two fillings and put off the rest. Well, two dentists later - one in Kansas City and another in Nashville - have informed me that I have no cavities whatsoever. Yet had I stayed at MidTN, I would have paid for six more. Absolutely got ripped off.

Katie was exceptional with her services and such an amazing person! I had teeth cleaning and X rays. Then a plan of action was provided by the Dentist. Very knowledgeable, professional and kept me relaxed. Highly recommend!

I went for a first time patient appointment. The dental hygienists wagged her finger at me and spoke to me as if I were a child. She was confrontational and raised her voice to me. I did not see the dentist I was scheduled to see. They did not tell me they switched out dentists as the prior had left the firm. I did not get a cleaning and was denied further services as I did not want what they recommended. Also, the dental hygienist told me I need to have my wisdom teeth removed (which have never caused any problems for me in the 10+ years I have had them). I was led out to the front desk lady which proceeded to give me a "treatment plan" of how they can remove my wisdom teeth and how many visits they recommend. You would think after being denied services they wouldn't have the audacity of placing a treatment plan of several thousand dollars in front of me. This is by far the most rude, unprofessional dentistry I have ever been to. I would recommend to go elsewhere. Also, please look at the previous reviews as a lot of them have good insight as to what you can expect.

Oral surgeons they referred him to can not see until June 29th. Called back to see if could get in to do something and Dr Vann said he is booked up go to ER and an oral surgeon should be on call. REALLY.... Doesn't warrant an ER visit. RIDICULOUS!!!! Will not be back at this office.

I had to get a filling in the beginning of December and was having pain throughout the next few weeks (pain that I did not have before the filling) so I made a follow-up appt. After little assessment, the dentist said I had a fracture in my tooth and would need a crown. She said if that didn't work then I would need a root canal and also brought up needing to look into taking out my wisdom teeth. I went to see another dentist for a second opinion-she examined it and took an X-ray. She said it was some trauma from the filling but no crown was needed!!! If anything she said she could do another filling but was confident that the discomfort would subside. She also said no need to look at taking my wisdom teeth out if I took care of them. I almost spent so much money and time on something that didn't need to be fixed. The office is always having new dentists as well-every time I go back it's always someone new. I'm so happy I got a second opinion and a new dentist.

I just visited office today... i am very upset that they screwed up my appointment. But She(Front desk) didn't even say sorry or something feel sorry.... She just say there is no space for me today even i made appointment. It made me so upset.. it's not about my appointment is canceled... it's about her attitude and behavior to me.. she should say sorry or do something that she try to do something for me.. but she didn't and she is rude...! I am so upset at this dental office.. never want to go.

Dr. Vann was so great! He was knowledgeable and very personable. I came in for teeth sensitivity and he could look at my teeth right away and knew that I grind them. He quickly found out which teeth were sensitive and showed me pictures and X-rays while discussing his recommendations. He was was able to do the crown and filling replacement right then which I really appreciated since my teeth were so sensitive. Additionally, he called me from his personal phone at 8pm to check to see how I was doing, I've never had a dentist do this and it speaks to how great of a professional he is. Highly recommend Dr. Vann!!

The staff and my dentist made me feel completely at ease! We built a treatment plan and I am so pleased with the work thus far. I would recommend their services to all of my family and friends!!

They are respectful and caring group. They took the time to explain each step of treatment and answered all of my questions. Very pleased with my visit.
