Dr. Michael Lowery has been in solo practice in Southaven, MS since 2006. After realizing that there was a need for an Endodontic practice in Germantown, TN he took a leap of faith and opened Mid South Endodontics in April of 2019.
Originally from Tupelo, MS, Dr. Lowery attended college at Birmingham-Southern College in Birmingham, AL where he graduated with a B.S. in Business then Dr. Lowery attended The Else School of Business at Millsaps College where he received his Masters of Business Administration. After business school he was accepted into The University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry where he graduated in the top 5% of his class. Following dental school, Dr. Lowery was immediately accepted into the Endodontic Program at Tufts University in Boston, MA.
Dr. Lowery and his wife Janie are the proud parents of their two sons, Tucker and Palmer. As a family, they enjoy attending Ole Miss football games, travel, play games, snow ski and any kind of fun that will make them laugh. Dr. Lowery began hunting as a child and is always looking forward to the next open season.
Following Furman, Dr. Klecker pursued dental school and was accepted to the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. He was President of the Endodontics Journal Club and his research conducted in Munich, Germany earned him and his colleagues a publication in the Journal of Cranio-Maxillo-Facial Surgery.
During residency, Dr. Klecker gained clinical experience working in private practice in the Greater Boston Area. Dr. Klecker is a board-eligible endodontist and plans to challenge the Boards in the coming year.
Dr. Klecker and his wife Julianne enjoy running, fishing, hiking with their dog Reagan and trying new restaurants and breweries with friends. Dr. Klecker has run 4 Boston Marathons, and in his free time he enjoys watching football and homebrewing beer.

The best place in town. Had a root canal done. The Dr hands works like magic. He is so good. My brother is a oral surgeon in Europe and i thought he was the best until i went to this place and i told the Dr. He is the best.

Dr. Klecker and staff are friendly and make you feel welcome. Dr Klecker explains everything in detail and in words you can understand. Highly recommend if you need an Endodontist.

My appointments for my root canal and the follow up were both at 8AM. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted and taken back. They were all very friendly including the Dr. They have a very calm vibe. I was out of there in about 40 minutes. I was in so much pain when I got there on my first visit. By the time I could feel my mouth again the pain was minimal. So regular pain meds worked. They did a fantastic job and I highly recommend them. I hope you never have to have a root canal but if you do this office is great!

If you must get a root canal, this is the place to have it done. Dr. Klecker is outstanding and answers all your questions patiently and thoroughly. The front office staff is friendly and welcoming. The dental assistants are top notch as well. I literally had no pain during or after (even the numbing shots were completely painless). A day or so later, when it became clear that the canal was probably infected (which is not uncommon), they immediately phoned in an antibiotic prescription to my pharmacy. I would refer friends, family and co workers without reservation to Dr. Klecker and his practice.

Dr. Klecker was amazing! He made me feel very comfortable getting my root canal, I could tell he knew exactly what he was talking about and doing. He was professional, gentle, and friendly! I would highly recommend going to see him for a root canal. Also, the staff was very nice!!

I can tell Dr. Jack Klecker listened in school. He was very professional, friendly, had a good beside manner, and was very knowledgeable. My root canal was painless. Appointment was about an hour. The supporting staff were friendly also. I would definitely recommend. Thanks doc!!!

I had a very pleasant experience. The staff was very nice. Everything was explained thoroughly to me . Everything was clean and I got a very welcoming vibe . I highly recommend this place .

Went in for my root canal and the check in was easy and very friendly staff. Dr Klecker was great, I was very nervous about the procedure. His assistant was sweet and really watched over me to make sure I was comfortable and the sunglasses (to protect your eyes) made me laugh. I won't be so afraid if I ever need another one, they were great.

I had to get my very first root canal here and I was nervous going in. But all the staff and Dr. Klecker were so nice! Dr. Klecker answered all my questions and made sure I knew what was happening every step of the way. It was a rather painless procedure. I still felt a little pinching during the numbing, but that's to be expected. Even the numbing was barely anything compared to what I've had done elsewhere. Overall great experience! I would highly recommend this place to anyone who needs a root canal!

If you need a root canal, this is the place to go. The staff is friendly and welcoming and Dr. Jack Klecker is amazing. First painless root canal I have ever had. Today is the day after and there is zero pain, not even a little sore.

We are travelers and I encountered a major toothache over the holidays. We were in the Memphis TN area and I was able to be seen and treated for a root canal at MSE. What a wonderful staff and the Dr did an amazing job. I've had no pain just a little soreness (to be expected). Staff contacted me the following day to see how I was feeling. I highly recommend them!!

I couldn't have had a better experience. Dr. Klecker and his staff are extremely knowledgeable, attentive and friendly! The office is clean and up-to-date. Going to the dentist can be stressful but I didn't feel that at all. The staff makes the process comfortable and easy. Dr. Klecker makes sure he takes the time to answer any questions you may have and explains all treatment options. There was absolutely no pain or anxiety throughout the entire process. I was referred to Dr. Klecker by an emergency dentist after Thanksgiving. I went into his office with the worse tooth pain that I ever had. It was initially thought that I only needed a tooth with a previous root canal retreated, however after Dr. Klecker started the retreatment the pain begin to worsen. I called in the next day and told the staff (who are total sweethearts) that I was in horrific pain and they brought me in immediately to see what the problem was. Dr. Klecker closely studied my xray and found out that there was another tooth giving me pain that didn't even have a cavity. He was able to treat and fix the issue immediately. I haven't had any pain since. I am so grateful for the professionalism and care of Mid South Endodontics.

My experience with Dr. Klecker was excellent. He and his staff were very professional. He did my root canal. Great job. I called his office a day after my procedure and informed them that I was in pain. They told me to take Tylenol. He did not prescribe a pain reliever after the procedure. The numbness does ware off. He prescribed amoxicillin. I told him that the antibiotic caused an infection. They told me they can't do anything about that. Go to my primary care doctor. So, I have Paid you 1, 050 out of pocket. Insurance didn't cover. He was out of network for me. Now you want me to go to my primary care, spend more money, for them to fix something that you caused. I had to go to My DENTIST to get meds for Dr. Klacher's procedure, root canal, that he did. My Dentist prescribe me a pain meds after I called and told him that Dr. Klecker did not prescribe any. Also My DENTIST prescribe Fluconazole for my infection from the amoxicillin. My DENTIST did not perform my root canal, Dr. Klecker did. I'm not happy with the aftercare service. After drilling in someone's mouth, I'm sure you can write a mild pain prescription. It's the principle of the situation. I will not refer anyone to him. P.S. I went to my dentist initially. He did give me a referral to go to a Endodontic. No Dr. Klecker was not on one the referrals.

There's so much to say but I'll remain brief. The overall staff is amazing. From the moment you check in until seated in the dentist chair is exceptional service. I arrived a bit early but they were prompt. Especially during the COVID-19 guidelines they're on it. So as the saying goes the welcoming face determines the place, and it was such an experience. Next, Dr. Klecker was the dentist I saw and he eased my anxiety. I was discreetly nervous but after he explained everything and we were conversing about family, it eased my anxiety. I was willing to get another procedure but his practice doesn't do it. Overall, great place to get a root canal. It's a welcoming, calming, and clean atmosphere. I'm telling everyone about this place.

Loved loved loved this office!!! I have severe anxiety, and the office made me feel so comfortable. They let me use my weighted blanket and even a weighted eye mask along with the nitrous. Although I hope not to be back soon, I wouldn't mind because of his fantastic office and work! My tooth has finally stopped hurting!

Like many folks, I've had a lifelong fear of dentistry due to a traumatic surgery when I was in my teens. Having never been the recipient of a root canal, I was terrified to the point of feeling ill when I walked into Dr. Lowery's office. Kelly, at the front desk, immediately recognized my trepidation and made me feel safe and welcome. Chris, Dr. Lowery's assistant, took xrays, briefly explained how they would handle my case and helped me to feel more at ease. Dr. Lowery arrived shortly and further explained the procedure in laymen's terms, which greatly reduced my fear. The procedure went exceptionally well and doc took great care to make sure that I didn't experience pain. Very thankful for this referral. The entire team was professional and accommodating. 12 hours post procedure, I'm experiencing very little irritation/pain (1 out of ten on a pain scale). Additionally, the office was incredibly clean and they take the appropriate measures to ensure safety and proper sanitation. A++
