Dr. Todd graduated from SIUE in 1990, and then the SIU School of Dental Medicine in 1994. He completed a two-year residency in 1996 and has been in private practice for over20 years. He has extensive experience in family dentistry and has completed over 4,000 dental cases under general anesthesia. Dr. Todd has served on the University of Missouri Cleft Palate Team and has been a regional consultant on the development and implementation of dental services throughout the state.

After graduating from the University of Missouri-Columbia, Dr. Naegler received her D.M.D. from Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine. Upon completion of her 2 year Advanced Education in General Dentistry program, she began her practice at Mid-Missouri Dental Center in Columbia, MO and Accent Dental in Clayton, MO in 1996. She has devoted her entire career to serving children under the age of 21 and has completed more than 5000 cases using General Anesthesia in an in-office setting.

Both of my children are seen here and we love it! My daughter had Taylor and my son had Bre, they were both amazing with the kids. And the kids love laughing and joking with both ladies! Highly recommend to others! Our wait time was only 10 minutes and all of the staff were friendly.

Bre was absolutely amazing!!!! She got us in fast and was so understanding!!! She listened and understood my frustration and managed to squeeze her for a filling apt!!!!

I love mid mo dental ! The place is clean and nice staff ! The place has always been great I used to go when I was younger ! I wanna give a shout out to Breanna ! She did so good with my nephew and was very sweet she's great with kids !!

We want to send a huge thank you to Derrick. We are a family full of people who do not like going to the dentist and my son was very scared about his appointment. Derrick took the time to ask him what he was afraid of and he walked him through every single thing he did. He let him told the tools and feel what they did before he did anything and that really helped Noah relax. Noah has sensory issues and Derrick made him feel so relaxed and comfortable every step of the way. Even when the dentist was in the room. I have never had an experience quite like this. I am so grateful to Derrick and mid Missouri dental center for the experience and for help my kids get back on track to a healthy mouth and teeth.

The whole team is amazing, But my boys love Bre. Both boys had dental work in the last couple of weeks and she helped comfort them both and did amazing.

I want to personally give Derrick a shoutout. I am 19 years old and still hate going to the dentist, and find it very uncomfortable like most people. Derrick is a great conversation starter for one. In the down time that was given we talked about the most diverse things that you wouldn't expect to talk about with your dentist, all topics appropriate of course. We talked about our love for Dairy Queen ice cream, and our local food favs around town, etc. For two, when the dentist comes in and starts working he goes instantly into work mode and is the best aide, period. Even when he wasn't the one assisting the dentist taking care of me, he still made sure he spoke to me and that was nice.

To some everything up in this review is we are looking to take my daughter somewhere else. My mother has temporary guardianship of my daughter(4 years old) and they refused to take the paperwork everywhere else accepts. They originally refused to see her today but changed their minds once my mom became noticeably annoyed. But the biggest issue is not just being able to be seen but my mother had to wait an hour after the initial appointment time and someone who didn't have an appointment got called back first. Then even thought the doctors have said my daughters tooth needs to be removed very soon as it is getting infected and injuring her other teeth, they scheduled the surgery for 4 months away!

the appointment making and waiting process is similar to the DMV, people irritated and waiting forever all around you. they will cancel your appointment if you don't answer before noon, which if you and your emergency contact are busy during the day you're out of luck, which is an issue if you're a working parent. But the dentist/staff/anesthesiologist are all very informative and sweet.

Condescending office staff, long waits for appointments and scheduling surgery for 8 year olds at noon, with no earlier options, and expecting children not to eat or drink water before a noon surgery. I've never been treated so condescendingly by office and dental staff. Will never bring my children back to this place.

We've gone here for years, and everyone is so friendly. My kiddos are nervous at the doctor/dentist and they always make them feel super comfortable. I definitely recommend 10/10!

The best damn dental office in Columbia, mo! This dental office has given me a lot of great tips on how to keep my teeth clean. Oral hygiene is very important and this office will not let you forget it.

I went to this dentist office when I was a kid and now my kids go here this dentist has become home to us and the employees are all so friendly and welcoming we definitely never get tired of the fish tank there it's always a favorite for the kiddos I would recommend this office to anyone with children 10/10

Amazing experience at Mid-Missouri Dental. This has been the best experience for my kids at any dentist we have gone to (including for my son with Down Syndrome). The staff and dentists are top-notch; this is the place to go in Columbia!

We love Mid Missouri Dental, from the receptionist and techs to the dentist. Every one is always so friendly, when you go. They listen when you have question and are very helpful. My oldest daughter has always hated going to the dentist but they are making her realize that it isn't that bad. Thank you Mid Missouri Dental!!!

We've had several excellent experiences for our two kids (ages 8 and 11) at Mid Missouri Dental. The staff was always friendly and helpful. Dr. Todd does amazing work and has both a professional and calming demeanor. Our kids were nervous at first, for their filling, however they were both made comfortable and happy with the positive environment. Great communication, great service, great team. We'll be back, yet hopefully cavity free throughout the future!
