Dr. Ray Ribitch is a native of Mount Pleasant. He received his undergraduate degree at Alma College before going on to the University of Michigan for dental training. At the University of Michigan, Dr. Ribitch was honored for his excellence in making full and partial dentures with the Dentsply International Award in Prosthodontics. He is also an alumnus of the prestigious Dawson Academy. Dr. Ribitch is dedicated to providing patients with the best, high-quality treatment possible. Using the latest in dental technology, Dr. Ribitch, and his team are able to diagnose and treat dental problems efficiently.

It is with my most sincere gratitude that I thank you for visiting our website. When I was a child I had a terrible experience going to the dentist. It was awful. Later in life, as a teenager, I had a terrible infection following removal of my wisdom teeth. To this day I still remember attending my Varsity football banquet at Mt. Pleasant High School and walking to the front of the room, my cheeks black and blue and bouncing up and down from the swelling. Some of those experiences you never forget.
Following graduation from Mt. Pleasant High School, I attended Alma College. I majored in biology, minored in chemistry and played 4 years of college baseball. It was at Alma where I met my wife, Kristy, who played softball and later obtained her Masters degree as a Physician Assistant.
After 4 years at Alma College I moved to Ann Arbor, Michigan and received my DDS degree at the University of Michigan (GOBLUE). Learning never stops, in my opinion. After graduation I continued my education with two prestigious learning centers, The Dawson Academy and The Kois Center. Both curriculums have taught me a great deal about comprehensive dentistry, about treating the whole person and not just the teeth. I have found the education invaluable, and has allowed our office to excel at esthetic and reconstructive dentistry.
Esthetic and reconstructive dentistry is an area of great interest to me. As a teenager I had a large space between my front teeth that bothered me. I was always self conscious about it. Its why I enjoy helping patients find their true vision for themself through their smile. It has led me to pursue special credentialing with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry to bring world class esthetic dentistry to mid-Michigan.

I moved back to Michigan from Colorado for a couple of years. I needed a dentist and Dr. Ribitch was highly recommended. Dr. Ribitch and the staff are amazing and professional. I absolutely love my smile and the care I receive when I am there. The decision to stay with Dr. Ribitch was an easy one even after moving back to Colorado. It has been 4 years now and I fly in at least once a year for an appointment. Dr. Ribitch and the staff always make me feel like a VIP! I wouldn't trust anyone else with my dental work. I have probably interacted with each and every one of the staff here and they are all AMAZING. They have done so much work for me to be confident in my smile which I never thought was possible. I had invisalign and six composite veneers and the process was easier than expected. Dr Ribitch is extremely talented and accommodating. I am so grateful for this place!

This is the best dentist office that I have ever been to! They take into account your physical and mental wellbeing with dental experiences. They try to help minimize treatment worry in appointments (explain things well, have stress relief tools that I haven't seen in other offices before). Friendly and professional. I have seen children run out of the office, full of smiles and cheer, excited to tell their parent/guardian all about their visit. I've never seen that anywhere else. I recommend Ribitch and his office, especially if you have past/present worries about dentist visits!

The staff, facilities, and service offered are fantastic, and Dr. Ribitch goes above and beyond to serve his patients. We have moved from the area, but we will continue with Mid Michigan Smiles four our dental needs!

Not impressed!!! Just had my teeth cleaned only to find out afterwards they no longer participate in my Delta Dental insurance provided by one of the largest employers in the area at over 4000 employees! They supposedly sent out a letter but after returning to work my two co-workers that also see Dr. Ribitch were unaware of this change and they also never received a letter! They both said they will be seeking a new dentist and I tool will be looking!

I can't say that I look forward to my dental appointments, but I find that Mid Michigan Smiles really knows how to take care of my dental and wellness needs. I am greeted by a wonderful front desk staff. My hygienist offered me a warm scented towel for my neck and I get to sit back inn a dental chair that massages my back. My hygienist and dentist are knowledgeable about the latest research and treatment options and they take time to get to know you as a whole person. I highly recommend this practice in Mount Pleasant, MI

I went to Dr Ribitch in need of help with what I thought was an impossible task. Previously I had orthodontics work when I was a child, which did little to help with my issues. I suffered from a cross bite/under bite and had significant gaps which had been covered up by some bonding work from other dentists. With the help of Dr. Ribitch and his amazing staff, they used a combination of Invisalign and composite material to create the smile I've always wanted but never thought I'd have. I'm still in shock at how well it turned out. From the staff up front to all of the assistants, everyone could not have been more kind and professional. Thank you so much to all of you!
