field. I have been a patient here for the last 4 years and could not be happier with Dr.Gary and his staff. Dr. Gary is the best and now my whole family are patients. I met Daniella yesterday, she was the hygienist who did my cleaning and did an excellent job. And of course I cannot say enough great things about Vanessa who is Dr.Gary's office manager/assistant who always has a smile and tries her very best to accommodate appointments.

Dr. Gary and his staff treats everyone like family. I feel I finally have a dentist who really cares and takes the time to explain issues.

Dr. Schatzberg is ABSOLUTELY the BEST!!! He is such a gifted doctor who truly cares about his patients. Vanessa is also very caring & helpful. They go above and beyond for us. I can't say enough about how wonderful the practice is.

It is always a pleasure coming here. Dr. Schatzberg is such a great dentist. He's quick and takes his time to explain everything in detail and makes sure you're comfortable at all times. You can tell he's passionate about what he does and he cares about his patients. I always look forward to going to the dentist now. If anyone needs a dentist to go to, he is your guy.

This week I had my first hygiene appointment with Crystal, Dr. Gary's new Hygienist. She is professional, courteous, and meticulous. I highly recommend this practice and have been impressed from my very first visit, and can't say enough good things about Dr. Gary, Vanessa, and now Crystal.

I always have a great experience at Mid Island Dental Arts. Dr. Gary Schatzberg is an excellent dentist who takes the time to explain what he's doing, and he does it well. He is personable and makes sure that the patient is comfortable while he works. His assistant, Vanessa, is also very helpful.

The hygienist did an exceptional job cleaning my teeth. She was very attentive to my comfort and took great care to ensure that my teeth were perfect when she was done!! Dr. Gary treated me like I was family!! He thoroughly explains everything! He is very kind and listens carefully to any of my concerns! Exceptional!!!

Dr. Schatzberg has some of his art work on display in his office. In my opinion, as a dentist, Dr. Schatzberg brings his artistic expertise to share with all his patients in their dental care. I couldn't be more pleased with the condition of my teeth and gums, and I highly recommend him to anybody who is looking for a new dentist.

Do not go here! Had a minor food gap that just needed to be filled and he took out a chunk of my tooth and poorly filled it in all honesty made it worse. I had a 5pm apt (assuming it was the last apt) and was on time, took me in and began the procedure. Half way through he looked at his watch and said who scheduled this if I would have known it was a filling and took this long I would have rescheduled for when I had more time. Looked at me and asked if I could come in the next day (as a chunk of my tooth was missing and tools still in my mouth). I said no and then continued to rush through so he could get out on time. 3 months later filling has fallen out due to a rushed job. I've called multiple times/days and no one answers the phone or email and now my insurance is giving me issues. So Dr. Schatzberg if you see this I sent in a complaint and maybe hire more staff to operate your office.

Dr Gary understood my urgency to have my bottom chipped tooth repaired ASAP. I called up, sent him a picture, told him how sharp and annoying it was and he immediately got me on the schedule. The procedure for repairing my chipped tooth went well and the end result looked great... Now I can smile again and not be called funny names by my kids.... Thanks again Dr Gary!

Wow, contrary to the last review on this page I've had nothing but great experiences utilizing Doctor Gary. Initially I went to him after having a botched root canal from another dentist. He removed the old metal crown the dentist used and replaced it with a tooth colored one. Even though the tooth was in the back of my mouth and would never be looked at. I appreciated him taking such great care of a tooth I would rarely see or even think about. I went back to him to have silver fillings replaced with tooth colored ones and when I needed another one done he used a Laser instead of a drill to remove the cavity. If you're in a rush best to make the appointment for a day and time you have extra time. During my first crown installation we ran late because I told Gary it was uncomfortable. He wouldn't let me leave until it was absolutely perfect. 10/10 - Recommended to family and friends! Also I've gotten cleanings and whitening done here, painless so far!
