Dr. Yoo earned his degree in dental surgery from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. He sought further education by attending General Practitioner Residency at New York Presbyterian Queens. During this time he practiced as a general dentist getting hands on experience in the field. Dr. Chun grew up in Ridgewood, New Jersey and completed her undergraduate studies at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. After college, she received her degree in dental surgery (D.D.S.) from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine and moved to Philadelphia to receive post-graduate training in endodontics at University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Hahn received her doctorate in dental medicine from the University of Pennsylvania and completed post-graduate training in endodontics at Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery. Dr. Hahn has been involved in academics throughout her career at the post-graduate endodontic departments of New York University, Columbia University and the University of Pennsylvania. She lectured at the European Endodontic Symposium in the past, was on the board of opinion leader team for innovation, served as an instructor on various hands on courses in endodontics in 1990.s. Dr. Hahn has been practicing micro-endodontics since the 1990s and completed a 2-year fellowship program at the Implantology Department of NYU College of Dentistry in 2007.
Dr. Hahn has been voted Top Dentist by her peers in the widely-circulated New Jersey Monthly Magazine every year since its inception year of 2009. She is also featured on NJTopDocs as well as Bergens Top Doctors.
Dr. Hahn is actively involved in various dental organizations, from local chapters to the AAE, as well as various study clubs. She is currently on the board of the New Jersey Association of Endodontics. Dr Hahn served on the board on Bergen County Dental Association in the past. She volunteered as a dentist at Evas Village, a non-profit Organization in Patterson providing treatment for in house patients in recovery program. She enjoyes spending time traveling, culinary arts, performing arts and time to kick back with her friends and family. Dr. Hahn is passionate about the science, philosophy, practice and the teachings of yoga. She is a 500 RYT yoga instructor.

He is a member of the American Association of Endodontists, the American Dental Association, and serves as an executive council member of the Bergen County Dental Society. He enjoys sports, travel and spending time with his family.
Dr. Yoo earned his degree in dental surgery from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. Dr. Yoo is an active member of the American Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Association, and American Association of Endodontics. He currently holds a board-eligible status from the American Board of Endodontics. He strongly believes that his patients will benefit the most from the evidence- based endodontics. His continued passion for education and technology assures patients that Dr. Yoo will give them the highest quality care available.

I don't typically write reviews but felt compelled to write one for this place. My dentist referred me here for a root canal and they were able to get me in 2 days later (although I opted to wait 2 more days for a Saturday morning appointment, which I also couldn't believe they had available). The entire experience was fabulous from arriving there (minimal wait) to the assistant who was incredibly friendly to the actual root canal procedure which took about an hour and was virtually painless. Dr. Misun took the time to answer my questions and explain what she was doing at each step of the way. She provided me with pain medications (which I barely ended up needing) as well as clear instructions for follow up care. I also need to mention that their office is beautifuil and they use really cool 3-D xray technology - I enjoyed looking at the 3D images of my teeth on the screen. I will certainly be back should I need further endontic treatment!

DR.MISUN is wonderful. Knowledgeable, understanding, and so quick! I am a newbie with root canal. The entire procedure took 1 hour!! Office staff is so accommodating! Highly recommend great experience!

I whole-heartedly recommend this practice. I had to have 2 "emergency" root canals over the last few months. The staff fit me in immediately even though they were booked, after hours for one of the appts even! I saw Dr. Misun and Dr. Yoo and both were professional, calming, talented and skilled. I would go to them again in a heartbeat!

I had a massive tooth infection that the previous dentist missed. The first endodontist went silent for a few seconds and had his jaw drop. Even though he said he would do a root canal, the look on his face said that he would go through the motions but did not believe it was going to help. I came to Dr. Yoo hoping Gentlewave would be a more effective alternative. He started the root canal the traditional way and used Gentlewave at the end. The approach worked and almost a year later there is no sign of the infection and the bone filled out nicely. He provides very clear explanations, is very gentle, listens attentively and does not ignore my symptoms even though they are completely atypical. He can be easily reached if there are any questions or complications. The office staff is wonderful, courteous, efficient, helpful. If I could give the office 10 stars, I would. I am a VERY, VERY grateful patient. Thank you!!!

Everything about this office was wonderful! The staff is so friendly and helpful. The doctor was kind, caring and extremely professional. They made a bad situation (I mean who likes root canal) as great as it could be. Thank you!!!

I had an emergency today, and my dentist made me an appointment at Mid County Endodontics. I simply cannot say enough nice things about this place. This is an Endodontist, for gosh sakes! No one could possibly be happy about going there for an emergency, and yet from the second I walked in, everyone was warm and nice. The office is spotless and beautifully decorated, and I was immediately at ease (as much as possible, given my terror). I waited just a couple of minutes, and I was brought in. The assistant was awesome and I had a nice conversation with her while she did the X-rays, and we waited for Dr. Pawlak to come in. When he did, he walked me through everything he saw, and talked to me like I was the first patient he had ever had, and then worked on my tooth like I was his 10,000th, meaning he knew exactly what he was doing, and did it with care and complete expertise that put me at ease. All the time his bedside manner was perfect. I could write three more paragraphs, but this was as pleasant a dentist visit as a human being could have, except I did not get a lollipop. :) I would give this place 6 stars if I could. Thanks for helping today, guys. PS, they called me two hours later to see how I was feeling!!!! HIGHLY recommended if you need serious work done.

Dr. Chen put me at ease, explained the procedure thoroughly and kept me abreast of how it was proceeding. Couldn't have asked for a better experience for something that is not on my top ten bucket list for sure. I would highly recommend Dr. Chen to anyone who has to have a root canal procedure. He's tops in my book! (And no, I'm not his Mom!) The staff was super friendly and the office atmosphere was very pleasant and inviting. A +10 all around!

My first experience with Dr. Dennis Pawlak was nearly 30 years ago, when my 8 year old son fell off his bicycle, fracturing his new front tooth in half, requiring root canal. Dr. Pawlak's warm, friendly, fun and always professional demeanor put my son, and me, at ease. I was a patient for life. Now, nearly 30 years later, I needed my own root canal. Dr. Pawlak was exactly how I knew him to be. A consumate perfectionist at what he does, it is how he does it, and how he treats the WHOLE patient, mind and body,. that sets him far above the rest. I left the office, Motrin and Tylenol RX in hand - and had NO pain! I didn't need to take anything. I trust him implicitly and would recommend him to everyone...a do!

I just had my first root canal with Dr. Pawlak at Mid-County Endodontic Group. He was AMAZING!!! I was very nervous and everything was explained in detail prior to starting the procedure. He even drew me a picture of what was going on in my tooth! I felt no pain during the procedure, and hardly any that evening.The office even called to check up on me to see how I was doing and if everything was alright. And did I mention the office was spotless? If you're looking for a caring dr. who will treat you with kindness, has EXCELLENT medical credentials and CARES about his patients, don't hesitate to call Dr. Pawlak and his staff!
