Dr. Anderson graduated from the LSU School of Dentistry in 2000. Upon graduating dental school, Dr. Anderson began working as an associate dentist under Dr. Ronald Villars in downtown New Orleans. Hepracticed dentistry in the CBD (central business district) for 9 years and in August of 2009 opened up Mid-City Smiles Family Dentistry. Over the years Dr. Anderson has completed many hours of continuing education with an emphasis onorthodontic dentistry, includingInvisaligncertification. He is one of the leading Invisalign providers in the greater New Orleans area and is also a lifetime member of the Untied States Dental Institute, the oldest program in the industry for education of orthodontics for general dentists.Dr. Anderson has also received specialized training for the surgical placement of dental implants. Patients are now able to receive complete dental implant care from start to finish at Mid-City Smiles. Sports Dentistry is another area Dr. Anderson has focused a lot of continuing education and training on. He has been a member of the Academy of Sports Dentistry since 2012. Dr. Anderson has helped provide dental/trauma care for local athletes and has recently worked primarily providing treatment for the New Orleans Pelicans as well as the University of New Orleans.
Dr. Anderson is fluent in Spanish. He is a member of both the Hispanic Dental Association and the Louisiana Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. He also periodically does a dental health radio show on the local Spanish radio channel. From 2009-2017, Dr. Anderson was voted by his peers as one of New Orleans' Top Dentists. His most recent profile appeared in the Top Dentists issue of New Orleans Magazine.
Dr. Anderson was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. He is a graduate of Benjamin Franklin High School and received his undergraduate Bachelor's degree from LSU in Baton Rouge. His father is also a native New Orleanian (in fact, he was born and raised in the Mid-City area). His mother is a native of Havana, Cuba. He is married to Summer Anderson, a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He has 2 sons (Luke and Benjamin) and a daughter (Isabelle). He also enjoys traveling, camping, hiking, and playing/watching most sports especially Pelicans, Saints, UNO and all LSU teams. Dr. Anderson is also a member of the Krewe of Endymion, Mardi Gras' largest parade organization.
Dr. Marin received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry. He earned his undergraduate bachelors degree from Louisiana State University in Biological Sciences while also minoring in Chemistry. While in dental school, Dr. Marin was elected by his professors to Omicron Kappa Upsilon, a national dental honor society founded for the purpose of encouraging scholarship and advancing the ethical standards of the dental profession. He strives to always be compassionate towards his patients while providing the best dental care possible.
Dr. Marin was born on the Westbank and raised in the New Orleans, LA area. Dr. Marin is fluent in Spanish. Both his father and mother are from Nicaragua. He enjoys working out and staying active, traveling, trying new food and restaurants, attending local events and festivals, and cheering on the Saints, Pelicans, and LSU Tigers.

I can't say enough about Dr. Pearla. She's an absolute doll. She really took her time w/me. Every time I had anxiety w/process, every time I put my hand up she would stop working on my filing. Her staff is great. As Dr.Perla was working on me I felt the anxiety easing up!!! This was major for me!! I feel I can trust her!!! Thank you Dr.Pearla!!!!

I broke a molar during lunch today. I was quickly and very well taken care of this afternoon, leaving after 4 with a new crown. Very high recommendation. I had another tooth break 5 months later. This was also repaired quickly and very well. Some aspects of getting old suck, but thanks to people like those at MidCity Smiles for helping so well.
