Dr. Souri is a graduate of University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. He has completed four years of intensive training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at New York Medical College. His training also included one year of general surgery, general anesthesia training and rotations in medicine, trauma surgery, neurosurgery, head and neck and plastic surgery.
Dr. Souri is well trained in general anesthesia and performs many surgical procedures under IV sedation and general anesthesia in office setting. His special interests are dental implants, bone grafting, facial trauma, facial reconstruction, corrective jaw surgery, distraction osteogenesis and pediatric cleft surgery. He attended humanitarian missions and has performed cleft surgery on children in underprivileged parts of the world.
Dr. Souri is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Maryland Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Dental Society of Anesthesiology and American Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Association.
Dr. Souris goal is to make his patients feel comfortable and relaxed. He listens to the patients concerns and helps to provide solutions leading to the patients better health. He has been treating patients for over 10 years for wisdom teeth, difficult extractions, dental implant, bone augmentation, facial trauma, and corrective jaw surgery. Dr. Souri enjoys spending time with friends and family, jogging, skiing, and traveling.

I just got my wisdom teeth out, the staff was very helpful and the extraction went well. They were able to fit me in for a consultation literally the next day I called and scheduled me a surgery for about a month later which is pretty good some other places are backed up months.

I have anxiety when it comes to any type of medical treatment so I was overly worried about having my teeth pulled without being put to sleep. From the first visit(consultation) to my second visit which was when I had my teeth pulled was a pleasure. The staff is very kind. The woman that pre numb me and took my blood pressure understood my nervousness. She took the time to tell me everything was gonna be fine. Now Dr.Saman Souri is great, he talked to me and explained everything to me. When it came time to pull my teeth he made sure that I didn't feel a thing before he pulled the teeth. He was done before I knew it. He's a great surgeon and his staff is excellent.

These people made getting infected teeth pulled as pleasant as it can possibly be. The young lady up front was extremely welcoming, kind and answered any questions I had intelligently. The assistant who "pre-numbed" me and took my blood pressure was really kind as well, and helped ease my mind that it was a routine procedure, what to expect and that worst was behind me (and she wasn't lying either). Dr.Saman Souri couldn't have been more professional but also personable, answered any questions I had and made me feel like I was in good hands. Then on top of all these nice, professional people, their work was great as well. I was in and out inside of 45 mins, and I had two painful, cracked and painful teeth that had to be pulled. I couldn't believe how quick and painless everything was!!! Thanks guys!!!

This office is amazing! The Dr. Is wonderful & professional. The staff are so generous and really make everything quick and easy. They have a great atmosphere. I would recommend this office to everyone. We have been to quite a few offices that we were not truly happy with for some reason or another, but this office we truly love. Thank you Mid-Atlantic staff.

They staff was so friendly and professional and the doctor and his assistant are absolutely AMAZING!! If you ever need any oral surgery procedure performed- this is the absolute best place to go and it's painless. I would give them 20 stars if I could. I had to get 2 wisdom teeth removed, they numbed me and I didn't feel a thing the entire procedure, they're absolutely incredible.

I took my son to this office last week to have his wisdom teeth out. The office was very clean and the staff were very nice and friendly .Doctor had a great chairside manner. I usually have the habit of asking a lot of questions and he patiently answered all of them and took his time to explain the surgery. He put my son to sleep and removed all of his wisdom teeth then a nurse came in and explained how to take care of my son after surgery in detail. That was a nice experience. I will take my daughter to this place next year.

I had my wisdom teeth removed last week. The staff were very nice and Dr. Souri explained the procedure in detail beforehand, and put me to sleep to remove all four of my wisdom teeth. Great experience... I would go back again!
