Dr. Moldauer is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics and a specialist member of the American Association of Endodontists, the Florida Association of Endodontists, the American Dental Association, the South Florida District Dental Association, the Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity, and a Fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy, an International Honor Dental Organization.
He served as Associate Director of Postgraduate Endodontics and Associate Director of Predoctoral Endodontics at Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine. He has published on the Pathogenesis of Periapical Pathology, Evaluation of Ultrasonics in Endodontics, Evaluation of different methods of Retreatment Techniques and the use of Cone Beam Computed Tomography for the evaluation of the internal morphology of mandibular molars . Currently, he is an Adjunct Assistant Professor in Endodontics and Co-Director of the Postgraduate Surgical Endodontics Course at NSU-CDM and served as an endodontic consultant at the Miami Veterans Administration Hospital GPR program.
Dr. Moldauer serves on the scientific advisory board of the Journal of the American Association of Endodontics. He trains Endodontic residents across the world and is a visiting Professor at Universidad Cayetano Heredia in Lima, Peru, Universidad Garcilaso de la Vega, Lima Peru, Universidad Autonoma de Tlaxcala in Mexico and Universidad Santo Tomas in Colombia, South America.
From 2013 to 2015, Dr. Moldauer directed the Advanced Education in General Dentistry Program at Larkin Hospital in South Miami, served as the Chairman of Endodontics and Director of Dental Continuing education at the same institution.
He uses the latest technological advances in endodontics and provides specialized endodontic care including microsurgery, root canal treatment, endodontic retreatment, and treatment of traumatic injuries to the teeth. Twice a year Dr. Moldauer organizes mission trips to provide free dental care to the underserved in Guatemala and Belize.
Dr. Sarmiento received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Universidad El Bosque in Bogota, Colombia in 2011 and completed the Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at Larkin Community Hospital in Miami, FL. Dr. Sarmiento furthered his dental education and received his specialty certificate in endodontics from Nova Southeastern University-College of Dental Medicine. At Nova, he was awarded with the prestigious Seymore Oliet, DMD Endodontic Award.
Dr. Sandra Ogando earned her first Dental degree in 1997 and graduated as an Endodontist for the second time at Nova Southeastern University in the year 2018. She specializes in the treatment of root canals and endodontic surgeries, management and treatment of traumatic dental injuries and internal tooth whitening. She believes in providing excellent and compassionate endodontic care to her patients. She is a member of the American Association of Endodontists. In her spare time she loves going to the Miami Heat games with her family. She stays current with the new advances in Endodontics by attending innovative continuing education courses.

Dr.Ivan is a wonderful endodontic. My daughter was referrred to him by her dentist who said she my need root canal. But Dr.Ivan evaluated her and instead of jumping into a root canal like most Endos who want to upcharge and bill u for unnecesary procedures gave her a prescription that took care of her problem. Dr. Moldauer is a great dentist . The front desk ladies are the BEST they speak english and spanish they are super attentive to everything and everyone very nice they offered me coffee and water before going in. Office is staff is amazing. The 3 front desk associates all greeted and were very friendly. The doctor made me feel comfortable before, throughout and after the procedure. I was very nervous but the pain went away after the procedure after 3 doctors prior told me they wouldn't be able to fix the tooth. Defiantly recommend his this doctor for any endodontic treatments!
