Our offices are now open. Our top priority is always the safety of our patients and staff. Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, our office rigorously maintained the highest standards of sterilization and disinfectant practices, meeting and exceeding the guidelines provided by our local and national organizations and OSHA. We have implemented additional procedures and technology to ensure the safety of our patients and our staff, and will continue to follow all necessary guidelines. Michigan OMS offices are now equipped with air purifier systems including the use of UV lighting throughout the office, which has been proven effective against COVID-19. We will also be using fogging machines to sterilize the air and every surface of our operatories to the best of our abilities. These process will be used after every patient. We will check everyones temperature upon arrival, including each staff member, via a no-touch infrared thermometer. The doctors and staff will all utilize effective personal protective equipment.
Our team practices a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise ranging from corrective jaw surgery to wisdom tooth removal. We can also diagnose and treat facial pain, facial injuries and TMJ disorders, and perform a full range of dental implant and bone grafting procedures.
Currently, Dr. Topf is Chairman of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan. He is also the Medical Director of the Craniofacial and Cleft Palate Clinic, as well as the Director of the Residency Program at that institute. Dr. Topf is also an Associate Professor of Surgery at Oakland University William Beaumont Medical School.
Dr. Topf has published and lectured both nationally and internationally on various oral and maxillofacial surgical topics including implantology and surgical correction of facial and jaw deformities. He has served as an examiner for the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the State of Michigan Specialty Licensing Exam.

Dr. Bournias is the director of the Cleft Palate Clinic at Hurley Hospital in Flint, Michigan. He is also on staff at St. John Hospital, Beaumont Hospital, Childrens Hospital of Michigan, and Hurley Hospital in Flint.

He subsequently completed his four-year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Hospital of Saint Raphael and Yale-New Haven Hospital in New Haven, Connecticut in 2008. He is board certified in oral and maxillofacial surgery. Dr. Murphy is a member of numerous local and national organizations and is currently on staff at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak and St. John Hospital in Detroit.

I really can't say enough nice things about this place. I needed a tooth pulled and was quite anxious about it due to a past experience at a different practice. Dr. Bolten and his team were great - the only discomfort I was ever in was from my own anxiety. I highly recommend this place if you are in need of an oral surgeon.

Quick wait times, professional staff, quality work. Had severe wisdom tooth pain and couldn't get in to see my normal dentist. They were able to get me in same day for a consultation and 2 days after that for surgery. The surgery went perfectly, and they were an awesome help during recovery. Couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Dr. Bolten and literally every staff member from the front desk to behind the scenes were wonderful. I had to have all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed and this was my first ever procedure like this. First time getting a tooth removed, first time getting stitches, etc. I was so nervous and the entire staff was so nice and made me feel so comfortable. Thank you all so much!

Where do I start. Very old dirty office. Doesn't use actual PPE or even come close to cleanliness, but charging your bill for PPE. I've never seen anyone else do this before. Had terrible life long complications, that I had to seek treatment from out of state team of doctors. Will write notes to other doctors changing dates of surgery and tell you everything is fine when it's clearly not per multiple other scans and doctors! Please don't go here!!

Cheap p_rick got me. Made the emergency $$ then didn't pull the tooth. Left me hanging this way They were listed by hospital to see after discharge. They KEPT REQUESTING INFORMATION THEY SHOULD HAVE RECEIVED FROM THE HOSPITAL. IT WAS REQUIRED TO GET THE APPOINTMENT. I SHOW UP IN PERSON AND MAGICALLY THEY HAVE NO INFORMATION ABOUT ME ON FILE. HOW DID THE HOSPITAL LIST THEM AS IF- WHY DID THEY WANT ALL THE BILLING INFORMATION BEFORE GIVING ME AN APPOINTMENT. YOU READ BETWEEN THE LINES Before my appointment a rather snooty woman called me 2 hours prior my scheduled visit to cancel my appointment because my online forms were not filled out. Not even slightly embellishing. I've never.. Worse this Sounds like someone is cherry picking payouts.

Leaving a review only so no one else goes thru this. Worst experience ever, I got my wisdom teeth removed and I didn't have enough anesthesia and woke up in the middle of it. I have sleepless nights and panic attacks because of it. They told me to "not jump" as if i didn't feel my teeth getting ripped out. I heard the people in the room too, they were talking like it was their lunch break. So unprofessional and an experience I will never forget.

Excellent staff and state of the art facility. I had an extraction didn't feel anything. They numbed me for the remainder of the day. My aftercare was explained thoroughly by Jesse who was phenomenal!!!! She made me relaxed before the procedure was done. They deserve 5 stars!!!! Excellent Oral Surgeons!!!!

I am very grateful for the staff that took care of my son whom had to have emergency surgery for his fractured jaw and teeth realignment. Everyone was absolutely wonderful and caring. It was difficult for me and the staff help me out by letting me know that they were there to take care of him and that it would be okay. I can not express my gratitude to everyone. Thank you for taking care of my son and my emotions.

Broke a tooth on vacation, when I got home, my primary dentist referred me to Michigan OMS. Was able to have tooth removed that afternoon. Dr Bolten, explained the removal and then information on implant ! Was put at ease and everything went well. Was very happy with the staff and Dr Bolten.

I had a horrible experience and I'm extremely upset. I felt belittled and like I was treated very poorly. I genuinely don't want anyone else to ever feel the way I felt or experience the things I did. As a patient, you deserve so, so much better.

Dr. Bolton and his staff are wonderful! My 8 year old son needed an emergency extraction and they were able to accommodate us the same day. He was great with him & made him feel comfortable, I cannot thank him enough. Also the front desk was phenomenal at working us quickly into the schedule, thank you, very appreciative.

Michigan OMS were very friendly, they new their job, and gave you different options for the process. If you need anyone to take care of your teeth and as well removing the wisdom teeth Michigan OMS is the place to go!
