Dr. Gupta was born and raised in southeastern Michigan. He is a graduate of Troy High school and was a math and science nerd (see picture). The dream was always to be in healthcare, but he majored in biomedical engineering because it was more practical. He obtained his bachelors and masters from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. He graduated from the University of Detroit-Mercy School of Dentistry in 2010, where he was fortunate enough to meet his wife, Vijayata, who currently practices as a general practitioner in Ypsilanti, MI. After graduation, he tried to be a dental renaissance man he taught at UDM in the simulation and cadaver labs, worked private practice in Warren, MI, and then did a 1-year fellowship in Anesthesia at the University of Indiana. He finally found his path through oral and maxillofacial surgery and graduated from the Medical College of Wisconsin in 2017. He is board-certified and has hospital privileges at Beaumont Hospital.

Please make sure you know your insurance before going to this practice. Make note of when x-rays were taken. The Dentist and assistants are wonderful, however the billing department should warn patients or at least ask questions before the appointment starts. A pre-determination should always be done, so all patients know what is expected before they come in. I got charges for x-rays that had already been taken 6 months ago but another provider. Which I could have provided if asked. And then charged a head of time for "just in case I fail my appointment" Super frustrating. Which is a shame cause I liked the dentist. Then to get a refund I have to wait god knows how long to get a CHECK! These "policies" should be told up front before appointments. I work in the Dental field so this is a shame to see. I will be taking my family somewhere else.

Everyone I met at Michigan Dentists was friendly and professional. My hygienist Lily was prompt, efficient, and very attentive to my needs. Dr. Will explained the process very effectively and as always, Dr. Belbeisi went out of his way to stop in and say hello. The atmosphere in the office is relaxed yet professional, with a little music to put one at ease. I would definitely recommend Michigan Dentists to anyone looking for a positive dental experience!

Got me right in as a new patient ,and made me feel as comfortable as an old patient. Referred me to Dr. Saleh for a root canal/ crown. Within 2 days my tooth was repaired. I was 3 weeks into that issue with my old dentist and knew nothing except my tooth was still sore. You and your staff are inclusive and informative. Very courteous. I think I have a new dentist.

My dental assistant that cleaned my teeth was very thorough, an awesome listener, spoke well, seemed to have complete knowledge of her tools in reference to the laptop and newest technology. She set up the Dentist well with all my info and he was awesome too setting up a plan for my teeth and better dental health. The desk staff were also very nice and provided all the financial information very quickly.

Went in for a mouthguard scan, and accidentally came in a week earlier than the appointment was scheduled for. They were very kind and still scanned my teeth. Appointment was very fast.

Recently was in for a new patient visit. The staff was friendly, and knowledgable. The RDH did a great job cleaning my teeth and providing care/service. Dr. Belbeisi was great as well. Everything was done in a timely manner. Overall very happy with my experience and will be coming back again.
