Dr. Lipton was born and raised in West Bloomfield, Michigan, before attending the University of Michigan where he attained his Bachelor of Science degree. Dr. Lipton continued his education at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry where he earned his D.D.S. After dental school, he completed a 1 year AEGD at the University of Florida College of Dentistry with a focus on full mouth reconstruction. Following his AEGD, he completed 3 years of an oral and maxillofacial surgery residency in Detroit, Michigan before switching to periodontics. He completed his training in Periodontics at the University of Florida College of Dentistry in Gainesville, Florida where he served as Chief Resident his 3rd year and received his certificate and Master of Dental Science in Periodontics. During his three-year residency, Dr. Lipton received extensive clinical training in regenerative periodontal therapy, soft and hard tissue reconstruction, esthetic periodontal procedures, oral medicine, IV sedation and placement of dental implants. Prior to his specialty training, he attended the University of Michigan Throughout his training, Dr. Lipton has won numerous awards for his research and clinical skills. Dr. Lipton is also a published author in the field of periodontics as well as a national and international speaker.
Dr. Hildebrand graduated from Michigan State University and subsequently the University of Detroit School of Dentistry. He completed his four-year residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Sinai Hospital in Detroit.

I had a surgery done at Dr. Lipton's office, I was very nervous as I get anxious with any type of procedure. However, Dr. Lipton and his staff were so kind and made me feel comfortable which really helped to ease my anxiety. Dr. Lipton was so patient and gentle to ensure I felt safe and taken care of. Im a patient that is very sensitive to teeth work, Dr. David Lipton and his staff spent as much time as I needed not to only make me comfortable but to reassure me that id be in a better place after, his personality shines through in the dental room which makes you relaxed during your visit, I can highly recommend Doctor Lipton and his staff doctor David is a professional his work was amazing and he is now a friend of mine who shares common interest in enjoying life....

I recommend avoiding at all costs. Dr. Lipton clearly missed the day in dental school where they taught bedside manor. I was appalled at his lack of desire to attend to his patients' needs and the lack of acknowledgment that dental work should be pain free. Again, avoid at all costs. Have you ever seen little shop of horrors...
