At Michelle Munoz DDS, we want your every experience to be positive, comfortable, and reassuring. We are all dedicated to making sure that when you leave our office, youll know youre part of the family.
As a child, the Tooth Fairy was kind enough to give Dr. Munoz money for lost teeth, but also left those teeth behind. Dr. Muoz remembers storing them in a little pink jewelry box, which is fitting, since she always thought they looked like tiny pearls.
After high school, Dr. Munoz earned a bachelors degree from Southwest Texas State University- now named Texas State University. She graduated from Texas A&M University Baylor College of Dentistry in 2001 with her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. A year later, she purchased her private dental practice in Uvalde.
One thing Dr. Munoz works to help patients overcome is dental fear. In this part of Texas, lots of patients come in with stories of poor dental experiences from going to Mexico for dental work. This creates fear when it comes to future dental treatment. Dr. Muoz works diligently to put patients at ease and to let them know theyre in control.
Professional organizations of which Dr. Munoz is a member include the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain, the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, and the International Association of Orthodontists.
She and her husband, Dennis, have been married since 1983. They love to vacation at Garner State Park and Brownwood Lake Park. In her spare time, she enjoys fixing up their new home. Her hobbies include reading, gaming on her Kindle, sewing, and cooking.
When Mariz is not at work, she is a busy military wife with three children. In her spare time, she enjoys working on her home and garden, reading a good book, scrapbooking, and camping with her friends and family.

Been taking my grandmother here for the past 3 years and we've had nothing but the best experience. From scheduling to Dr. Munoz all the girls are awesome and more than helpful. There are times when we've had to reschedule and reception always does what they can to get my granny in sooner rather than later. They even call if there's a cancellation and see if she wants to come in sooner! We love it there! 100% recommended. -Marilyn and Tara

I really love coming to getting my teeth clean! The lady does my teeth does a really excellent job I couldn't ask for a better place like Michelle Munoz Denitist place, they have always have taking care of my teeth cleaning them, taking there sweet time and doing X-rays make sure things looks good! No cavities! Plus the lady does my teeth take her time very patient with me very friendly, always talking asking how I'm doing ,I always ask her how her day is! It's nice to be friendly to others! I been going there since I was a young kid in school, and after high school! I couldn't ask for a better place like Michelle Munoz Denitist place! The employees are good people and nice as well!! I always get good check ups which is a good thing!
