Dr. Michelle Marconnette was born in Simi Valley, California. At the early age of 10 years old, she knew she wanted to become a dentist and she never wavered from that path. By the age of 16, she had already completed her training as a registered dental assistant and was already working at her first dental office. She continued working as registered dental assistant (RDA) while completing her undergraduate and graduate degrees at Loma Linda University, where she received her degree in Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) in 1996. A year later she opened an office in Lancaster, California. In 2000 she opened her second office in Phelan, California.
Dr. Marconnette is an active volunteer in her community. She offers free dental screenings and oral hygiene education to hundreds of elementary age students every year. In March and April every year her and her staff see over 1500 preschoolers and kindergartners as part of her volunteer efforts.
In addition to dentistry, she writes books to educate children and moms, loves horseback riding and spending time with her family. Her lifelong interest in anatomy, dentistry and her four children were the inspiration behind herbook seriesWe all have..

Not thrilled. I've been to this office for a number of dental needs. Mostly it was OK. Staff is friendly. Where my problem comes in is having dentures made. I was told they have a very competent dental lab they work with. I had an upper plate made which never fit quite right. They broke down the middle twice because of a fitment issue. They were finally fixed right when the dentist requested the lab add a mesh for strength. The main issue l have is because of the fit they come loose no matter how much glop l use to hold them in. I went and had them relined within 2 years of when l started using them. The relining didn't fix the problem, but because of Covid, and the creepiness of having other peoples fingers in my mouth l let it slide and decided to live with it. Reciently l figured out what to problem is. I was running my tongue along the rear of the plate and descovered there is a pretty good sized gap between the roof of my mouth and the dentures. This gap causes the plate to move up and down which eventually causes the dentures to break loose. This is an obvious bad workmanship issue from the lab. When l consulted with Dr Marconnette l was assured that they stand behind their work. So far l have had to pay for all fixes and was just told l would have to pay for this fix which is obviously the labs fault. I rarely do reviews, but in this case due the the expensive mature of dental work l felt it was important that people know what l went through. Will not be going back for any further fixes.

charged son for stuff he didnt need and also tried to have my husband have un necessary work done. Also did not bill insurance correct, finally i had to call and get it billed correct by the insurance company. They billed it wrong twice. insurance

Not up front about pricing. Requested a list of what they charge for what services. I was given a list but not told that they make the decision on what option they give you. For instance, the fillings. They give you a several different prices but don't tell you that they only use the porcelain type because they don't use the old style with mercury. Don't understand why they give you a list of prices and not let you know in advance what they are going to do and the price will be higher or that your insurance does not cover their "upgrade".

This office takes care of me every time I come to my appointments. I get in and out and they take their time with me. Dr. Marconnette treats me like family and always does a great job with my treatment. The girls up at the front are always welcoming and help me when I get referred out to a specialist. Sometimes they go out of their way for me and my family. This is such a good private practice that I would recommend to anyone.
