Our highly-trained office staff is ready to help with all of your dental needs. We are especially interested in making patients feel at home, and we strive to provide energetic, fun-loving service! We put your needs first to achieve comprehensive treatment. Our staff is uniquely compassionate and well trained to provide a comfortable and consistently efficient dental experience.
Each member of our treatment team is a Registered Dental Assistant, and our office staff has years of experience treating patients with the highest level of care. We strive to stay abreast of the latest in technological advances by regularly attending continuing education courses and seminars.
Elaine is a long time resident of Tucson. She has worked in the dental field since 1985 and has worked for Dr. Chavez since 2008. Elaine has three children and is a proud grandmother of six . She loves to spend her free time with her family.
Maggie was Born and raised in Tucson, she earned a BA degree in Dental Hygiene from NAU in 1991. She has worked with Dr. Chavez since 1991. As a hygienist, Maggie is passionate about preventative oral health. She enjoys the opportunity to improve the quality of her patients ' lives by empowering them to achieve optimal oral health. I went to see Dr. Chavez as a recommendation from a family member and friend. I have nothing but positive reviews for this office. Scheduling the appointment was simple. I needed a second opinion on a cracked tooth, I was scheduled within a week and when I walked into the office they not only saw me but fixed the cracked tooth the same day! I was expecting to have to come back for the procedure as this is a VERY busy office. The staff was extremely kind!! The cost of the estimate was well within what I had thought especially being out of network. Would highly recommend. Dr. Chavez also takes new patients and when she schedules for a new patient, she does a comprehensive exam with consultation! I have never heard of that before but that only adds to the positive experience of this dental office. Thank you so much!

While they may attribute my list of issues with this office to their new computer system - unfortunately, the impact to my health has been greater than that. 1. I came to Dr Chavez for a restorative crown for an implant. She took the moulds and replaced the healing cap. It was very sore for days afterwards. Even headaches. Today, the cap fell out into the pool as I swimming. It's labor day weekend. Now I have an exposed implant and no way to have it dealt with. Due to possible infection, eating will be an issue. 2. The estimate given by Dr. Chavaz's office for the crown and abutment - confirmed 3 times, was nearly doubled as I left the office. Vicky wouldn't consider the honesty of the customer. And refused to stick with their initial estimate. 3. They said they pulled my records from my oral surgeon and that they had not scanned and sent the scan to the lab. I called them to find out why. They said Dr. Chavaz's office did not pull records and that they had indeed sent the scan to the lab and left them a message. Pretty much a crazy bad experience. Cannot recommend.

Dr. Chavez and her staff have been taking care of my teeth for more than 15 years. My recent appointment was with Maggie for my six-month checkup. Maggie knows her job thoroughly. She is efficient, friendly and professional. I trust Dr. Chavez and her staff implicitly. Thank you for years of great care!

I was having tooth pain! I was sure I needed a crown :(, the office was very professional and got me in right away. Turned out I just need a filling :). Dr. Chavez has a soft touch, assistant was very personable. Front office staff was pleasant and accommodating and explained charges.

What a great experience at this dentists office. You always have the feeling that the entire staff cares about you. Doctor Chavez is friendly, professional and very knowledgeable with the latest in dental procedures. The entire staff is up to date on COVID safety procedures. Maggie the hygienist is one of the best. Doctor Chavez has helped me to get over my fears of going to the dentist. My wife and I have been going to Doctor Chavez for over twelve years, she and her team are the best.

My family and I have been examined and treated by Dr. Chavez and her team since 2007. We have always received world class quality treatment the over past 12 years. We were in need of emergency examination and then further treatment during my family's visit to Tucson. I called the office at 8am explaining our situation, my sister was squeezed in later that morning and then seen by Dr. Hauseman at Southern Arizona Endodontics later that afternoon, she received wonderful care to repair a very painful tooth. If you haven't been to a dentist recently or if you feel it may be time for a new dentist and hygentist make the time to go see Dr. Michelle Chavez and Dr. Dean Haussman at Southern Arizona Endodontics SAE.
