Dr. Chu received her bachelor degree in Biochemistry from the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) in 1996. She continued pursuing her dentistry education at UCLA and earned her DDS degree in the year 2000.
Dr. Chu believes oral health is part of patients overall health; therefore, she completed a one-year post-graduate program General Practice Residency (GPR) at Rancho Los Amigos Rehabilitation Center in 2001 where she learned to fulfill patients dental needs as part of their overall health. In the GPR program.Dr. Chu received training of hospital-based dentistry and learned to treat medically compromised patients. She was awarded resident of the year from her GPR program.
Dr. Chu has experience in a variety of dental treatments, including preventive dentistry, gum treatments, tooth color fillings, cosmetic procedures, crowns, endodontic procedures, pediatric procedures, and implants.
Dr. Michelle Chu and her professional dental staff have serve the communities of Artesia, Cerritos, Lakewood, Bellflower, Norwalk, and surrounding cities for over 14 years. We strive to provide quality dental care and to become your dental provider for all stages of your life.

I have been with UR DENTAL for quite a while now. Rest assure folks that this OFFICE & STAFF are very concern about the SAFETY & WELLNESS of all patients. Good Job Dr. Chu on your preparedness for operating now and making me feel SAFE.

How often have you ever heard of children loving to visit the dentist. I have 3 children. Doctor Chu has been amazing with all 3. to the point where my oldest daughter would bring her a Apple at every visit. She is so gentle that 1 of my children didn't even realize they had a cavity filled by the time she was finished. I will be forever grateful to Dr. Chu for the invaluable care she has shown to my kids and the rest of my family.

Dr. Michelle Chu is one of the best dentist I have seen. She is very friendly but also professional. She focus on details and take pride of her work. In other words, she really cares. I have been going to her for just a year and I am very impressed.

Dr. Chu is the most thorough dentist I've ever met. She'd rather see you having good teeth than have her more work on you. I'm a frequent patient and it's worth my 40min drive every time.

Dr. Chu is by far the kindest and most patient dentist there is! She explains everything to you so you feel like you are in good hands. She constantly asks if you're okay and makes sure that you feel no pain at all. She's not out to get your money, and she'll give you honest opinions on what's the best treatment for you. She has a great movie collection as well to keep you distracted. She's smart and very nice to all her patients :)

I am a very nervous dental patient, and Dr. Chu's reassurance and understanding helped me to relax. She is very sincere, explains all proceedures to your satisfaction, checks on your comfort throughout the proceedures and has been a really painless dentist. I've gotten much better about going to the dentist because of her. I've recommended friends to her and the ones that have gone to her really feel the same way. I have never recommended a dentist before so my faith in her is very strong. She's a lovely person and takes a genuine interest in her patients.
