Dr. Michael Zhang is a native of Orange County, CA and attended UCLA, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in psychobiology. After graduating from college, he moved to the east coast to attend Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree. Since then, Dr. Zhang has continued to hone his skills in dentistry with extensive continuing education and training in soft tissue laser, rotary endodontics, and orthodontics
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Zhang is married to his wife Ashley, and along with their beautiful daughter Ella, theyre expecting a new addition to their family any day! When hes not spending time with his family, Dr. Zhang enjoys reading, basketball, snowboarding, working out, and hanging out with friends.
Rachel is our hygienist who believes in the power of a smile. Her job as a hygienistis to help others improve their oral health, and to inform patients of the correlation between oral health and our overall health. Rachel's job duties include servicessuch as cleanings, taking x-rays, periodontal charting, fluorideapplications, oral hygiene instruction, amongst others. She began her journey in the dental field by attendingLoma Linda University, where she received her bachelors in science in 2011.
One of her favorite things about being a hygienist is making long lasting relationships, and getting to know new people. She has been with our office going on four years, and absolutely loves working with her coworkers and patients. 'Everyone is a joy to be around, and make it seem less like a job, and more like home' is something she frequently says.
Her journey in life has taken her from Houston, where she was born, to Beaumont, to Huntington Beach, where she currently resides. She loves going on sunset bike rides, spending time with her loved ones, especially her golden retriever, and is on a mission to visit all of our national parks. She can't wait to meet you all.
My journey in dentistry has spanned 52 years, and what a journey it's been. It all started in Santa Ana, where I graduated from Lawton dental assisting school in 1969. Since then, I've worked all over Orange County, across multiple specialities, including general, pediatric, and orthodontics. My passion for dentistry still burns strong, as I continue to enjoy growing and learning new things within dentistry, as things are constantly changing! When I'm away from the office, my husband of 50 years and I are proud parents of two Australian Shepherds.
