Dr. Zhang is always happy to explain things to our patients, so they feel comfortable with the personalized treatment plans we develop for them. Our goal is to provide straightforward, uncomplicated dentistry while also ensuring that you receive the highest standard of quality dental care.
Dr. Michael Zhang is a native of Orange County, CA and attended UCLA, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in psychobiology. After graduating from college, he moved to the east coast to attend Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree. Since then, Dr. Zhang has continued to hone his skills in dentistry with extensive continuing education and training in soft tissue laser, rotary endodontics, and orthodontics
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Zhang is married to his wife Ashley, and along with their beautiful daughter Ella, theyre expecting a new addition to their family any day! When hes not spending time with his family, Dr. Zhang enjoys reading, basketball, snowboarding, working out, and hanging out with friends.
Rachel is our hygienist who believes in the power of a smile. Her job as a hygienistis to help others improve their oral health, and to inform patients of the correlation between oral health and our overall health. Rachel's job duties include servicessuch as cleanings, taking x-rays, periodontal charting, fluorideapplications, oral hygiene instruction, amongst others. She began her journey in the dental field by attendingLoma Linda University, where she received her bachelors in science in 2011.
One of her favorite things about being a hygienist is making long lasting relationships, and getting to know new people. She has been with our office going on four years, and absolutely loves working with her coworkers and patients. 'Everyone is a joy to be around, and make it seem less like a job, and more like home' is something she frequently says.
Her journey in life has taken her from Houston, where she was born, to Beaumont, to Huntington Beach, where she currently resides. She loves going on sunset bike rides, spending time with her loved ones, especially her golden retriever, and is on a mission to visit all of our national parks. She can't wait to meet you all.
My journey in dentistry has spanned 52 years, and what a journey it's been. It all started in Santa Ana, where I graduated from Lawton dental assisting school in 1969. Since then, I've worked all over Orange County, across multiple specialities, including general, pediatric, and orthodontics. My passion for dentistry still burns strong, as I continue to enjoy growing and learning new things within dentistry, as things are constantly changing! When I'm away from the office, my husband of 50 years and I are proud parents of two Australian Shepherds.

I haven't had to have anything major done so far but so far I really like Dr. Zhang and his staff. He is very attentive and friendly and believe he'll do a great job if I need work done. Rachel the hygienist is awesome and Kristy at the front desk is great too!

My Dad has dementia and Dr Zhang is gentle with him and doesn't do unnecessary procedures on him for his age. Professional and thorough. Highly recommend. The staff is friendly and kind and makes you feel as ease.

Everyone at this office is so friendly and professional. They were extremely efficient and my teeth feel cleaner than they ever have. Highly recommend this office and the amazing staff!! OK, I'm with you...I DON'T like dentists! HOWEVER...after YEARS of avoiding them...I found Dr. Zhang AND his staff (Jessica, Rachael and Kristy)! OMG what a find! I actually look forward to going (crazy, I know). The whole office has a wonderful blend of warmth and professionalism (oh and throw in some laughs too!). After your first visit, you'll feel like part of the family! Yes, there's still the numbing shots and the dreaded drill but you'll have that anywhere. What's great is, they numb you with a gel PRIOR to the numbing shot so it's TOTALLY painless...HONEST! So do yourself a favor, stop suffering with any dental problems, take a deep breath and GO SEE DR. ZHANG and his staff! Trust me, you'll thank me!

Dr Zhang and his office is wonderful. They are amazing. The Dental Hygentoats all have the gentlest touch and cleanings and x-rays are a joy. I love how Dr Zhang spends time talking and building a great relationship. You are created by the best, most friendly Kristie.
