By the age of 14, Michael Weiss knew he wanted to be a dentist. He enjoyed building things, inventing gadgets, biology, teaching and helping people. He was also very detail-oriented. So dentistry seemed to him like a natural choice for a career.
Since then, Dr. Weiss has been active in pursuing post-graduate training, obtaining continuing education at triple the amount required by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. He is a graduate of the Dawson Academys five core courses, including advanced training in aesthetics, occlusion, and TMJ therapy. He has been a member of the Delaware Academy of Osseointegration and is now serving as its president. Dr. Weiss is also one of six accredited cosmetic dentists in Pennsylvania.
His professional involvements include memberships in national, state, and county dental organizations. He is active in the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.He has published nationally and internationally and has lectured at the Temple University School of Dentistry.
The reason he finds dentistry so enjoyable is that he loves helping people improve their smiles so they feel better about themselves. Often, after doing a smile makeover, the patient will be so overcome that they cry with joy. He and his staff love this part of their work.
When it comes to patient education, he doesnt mind spending extra time to observe and make personal recommendations or corrections on brushing and flossing techniques of his patients. He enjoys helping his patients save teeth and prevent tooth damage with simple procedures such as adjusting occlusion.
He enjoys building about anything and working with most construction materials. He has been riding dirt motorcycles since he was 4 years old. A lifelong sculptor, builder, and artist, he enjoys the art of creating new smile designs and the joy of helping his patients look and feel better.
Rita has worked with Dr. Weiss since 1986. Working as one with Dr. Weiss, she seemingly has telepathic ability to know the next step for all of Dr. Weisss procedures. Besides troubleshooting the inevitable computer issues that occur in our office, Rita coordinates operations with the laboratories and shipping companies. Her sharpness keeps the office running smoothly and her concern for our patients comfort and outcome is unparalleled and recognized by all. Our patients and Dr. Weiss respect Ritas skills and talents.
Rita married her husband, Glen in 1986. They enjoy spending time with family and traveling. She has one son, Eric, who is in the Navy. Eric was promoted several years ago to lieutenant in the U.S. Navy. Eric and Monica have a beautiful daughter named Destiny. Destiny is 13 years old and is the love of Ritas life. Photography and gardening are Ritas passions, and examples of these photographs can be seen throughout Dr. Weisss office. Rita enjoys taking photographs of the completed smiles that she and Dr. Weiss have created.
Gale has worked with Dr. Weiss since 1989. She goes above and beyond in welcoming all of our patients to the office. Before each patient arrives, she ensures they are prepared to bring anything Dr. Weiss or Courtney might need for that visit. Gale ensures that each patient is comfortable, from checking that any necessary forms are filled out, to having a nice beverage or reading material in our reception area. Her strongest and one of her most impressive traits is the time and energy she spends in helping patients maximize their insurance benefits. Gale is very sensitive to both our patients needs and Dr. Weisss needs during scheduling for visits. Gales loyalty, honesty, and hard work are the qualities anyone would love to have at the gate of their office.
She has two wonderful children, Seth and Shari, who are both married. Their respective spouses, Lauren and Jim, are much more than a daughter-in-law and son-in-law to her and Robert. Seth and Lauren have two beautiful daughters, Rebekah and Sophia. Shari and Jim have an adorable son, Benjamin. All three grandchildren are the love of her life.
Courtney is a graduate of Manor Colleges Dental Hygiene Program. She has been practicing dental hygiene since 2014. Courtney has been a shining star in our practice. She is very thorough and able to adjust her treatment technique to each patientoffering the gentlest dental cleaning possible. In conjunction with Dr. Weiss, Courtney has created virtual smiles on the computer for patients who are considering improving their appearance so they can see a preview of their smile makeover.
Every day we hear patients say about Courtney, That was the best cleaning I ever had. You must keep her, Dr. Weiss. If you ask Dr. Weiss about Courtney, he will also tell you that she is incredible. She is the finest teacher/communicator for our patients that Dr. Weiss could ever hope for.
Sky is a graduate of Cheltenham High School. She has been working with us since 2016, and she is amazing! Every day, she continues to learn and absorb all the information and skills she can from Dr. Weiss and Rita.
Sky has both a love and talent for selecting color and carving wax replicas of teeth for Dr. Weisss smile design cases. Her understanding of tooth anatomy and her sculpting skills have allowed her to create temporary crowns as accurately as Dr. Weiss does. We are proud and fortunate to have this bright and creative young lady as part of our team.
Diane has been married to Dr. Weiss since 1988. Dianes talents are her organizational skills and grasp of the financial running of our office. She does all of this behind the scenes and seemingly effortlessly so the rest of us can focus on taking care of you. She has a degree in finance and marketing from LaSalle University.
As a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Dr Michael Weiss has had the opportunity to participate in the AACD Charitable Foundations Give Back a Smile program. This program provides free smile makeovers to victims of domestic violence. Dr. Weiss has had the opportunity to help several victims.
Through the foundation, Dr Weiss was introduced to Anna, a survivor of domestic violence. Dr Michael Weiss secured and worked closely with other dental specialists and a dental laboratory to restore this patients smile.Anna was thrilled with what Dr Weiss did for her!

Many years ago, it was recommended to me that I get braces, for the third time in my life! I flatly refused. After much discussion, I agreed to have Dr. Weiss basically rebuild my mouth. It took days and hours in his dental chair, with virtually no pain. Dr. Weiss was, and is, into the technology of treating patients with little to no pain. He is amazing! After he was finished, I had a great smile, with no space between my front teeth and no one telling me I needed braces. Dr. Weiss, and his staff, are awesome professionals and I can't recommend them highly enough.

Dr. Weiss and his staff are extremely competent, professional and caring. My husband and I have both been to the office in the covid era for cleaning and other procedures and they are 100 percent on top of all the necessary protocol to ensure safety for patients and staff. We are also both long term patients since we moved to Jenkintown in 2008. If we could rate/recommend him higher than five stars we would!!!!

I have been going to Dr. Weiss and the team for almost ten years now. I originally went because I needed a cosmetic procedure done after an accident which affected my front tooth. They did a superb job and no one can even tell that I've had work done. Now I go to them for ALL of my routine dentistry as well. I don't trust anyone else with my smile! I know if I ever move from the area I will probably still travel back just for dentist appointments. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a dentist :)

I went to Dr. Weiss on a whim after frantically googling cosmetic dentistry in my area due to bonding falling off of my front tooth. After reading about him in Philly Mag, I decided to call to see if there was any chance I could make a same day appointment to get this fixed. His assistant Gale was delightful and eager to try and help fit me in. Thankfully she was able to and I had nothing short of a great visit. His other staff Courtney and Rita were a pleasure as well. I didn't feel like this was my first visit at all. Needless to say I have made another appointment for a consultation on veneers in the coming week. I would highly recommend Dr. Weiss and his team to anywhere in the MONTCO area.

Dr. Weiss has saved just about all my teeth and continues to do so. His office has all the modern equipment and all the assistants are professional and super nice. I don't believe I have ever had to wait for my appointments. It will always be necessary for me to go to the dentist therefore I am so grateful to have found Dr.Weiss.
