Have been going to this dentist for a couple years and the last time I went I was told I needed 4 root canals. Went and got a second opinion and it turns out I don't need any. It always felt very shady there and I'm really shocked they would try and get away with something like telling someone they need 4 root canals especially since I'd never be able to afford them so the end result would've been 4 extractions. Disgusted. Don't go here.

If I could give -12 stars, I would. He's very incompetent and his staff is just plain out stupid. If he was the last dentist on Earth and I had 15 cavities, I still wouldn't go to him.

He is literally the worst dentist i ever been to and I had to call multiple oral surgeons due to his bad work and I had two teeth severely infected. I DON'T RECOMMEND ANYONE EVER GOING TO HIM FOR FILLINGS. If I can give him 0 stars I absolutely would.

Office is not organized. We always have to reschedule after we arrive for our scheduled appointment because they take someone in before us. Bad experience and this is the SECOND time! Find another dentist and save yourself a trip.

I am SO grateful to have found Dr Michael Tara. I was in search of a holistic dentist and this is exactly what I was looking for. Friendly staff and super knowledgeable and REAL. They do heavy metal testing which I am definitely setting up and appointment for. They have a HUGE train table for the little ones to play with. It kept my baby boy busy the whole time I got my teeth cleaned. The pamphlets at the checkout are what sold me! Love you guys!! 10 STARS!

I wish I came here a long time ago! Dr.Taras truly cares about your physical health and your dental health combined. Best dentist in the lehigh valley!! I was at Smilekrafters and that place was horrible. Very grateful to find Dr.Taras!!! If you don't go there, you are really missing out

This honestly is the BEST dental office..staff and dentist EVER... I've been blessed to be a client of theirs for the past few years... and MUST say how pleased I've been... Zena and the other staff are TOP notch in what they do...and Dr. Tara... gives you the PRPERknowledge on what soooo many people do not know dye to how big business wants to promote unhealthy for us stuff... NOTHING THAT SAYS OR HAS FLORIDE IS GOOD FOR YOU.... Himalayain toothpaste...Let's do our part and listen too..and go to the RIGHT people who care and want to protect our health with the RrIfht information... I PROMISE YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPINTED...THIS IS THE PLACE...

I love this place!! I have been coming here since 2008 and the staff was always nice and Dr Taras is very knowledgeable. I love that he takes the time to explain everything to help you understand what is going on and how to fix it.Great place , highly recommended!

I thought the staff was kind but later I found the dentist not trustworthy. I needed a root canal. So I was scheduled for a consultation. After x-ray, the dentist informed me that he could not do the root canal. I paid $75 to learn he couldn't do it. Okay, I tried to understand that my root canals needed more expertise from an endodontist. Fortunately, I had 2 root canals done by 2 experienced endodontists. However, I needed a permanent filling. So I made an appointment for the 2 fillings with this dentist. On the call the receptionist told me they don't do root canals. (Hmm, now she tells me, $75 later. ) However, she was happy to make an hour appointment for permanent fillings. Later I called to ask for a quote for the cost of the work. After 3 days I received a letter informing me that I had been dropped as a patient. There was no explanation. I can only assume he didn't want to state the costs. I love holistic doctors & dentists but transparency and honesty is essential.

I'd give 0 stars if I could because this dentist is just a very rude and inconsiderate person. Told me that I had quite a few cavities and that I needed them filled. The day that I came in for it, I was extremely nervous and fear was evident on my face. When he started laying all these needles and tools on the table, I sat up in panic and he literally shouted at me, "LAY BACK DOWN!" Now I was even more scared so I did as I was told. After he numbed my mouth, he started asking me a question and when I nodded in reply because I couldn't speak due to my NUMB mouth, he glared at me & said "When I ask you a question, I expect an answer." How TF was I supposed to answer when I can barely even move my mouth. Terrible experience. Went for my cleaning 6 months later & was told I needed all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed. I decided not to listen & went to another dentist who told me that I literally did not need to remove my any of my wisdom teeth. Long story short, I do not and will not recommend this dentist. Go somewhere else for your own sake.

If I write how I was treated from the time i walked in to the time I left you wouldn't believe it . Let's just say Beth , you should really be ashamed of your yourself , you don't want to work , then don't go to work , you don't like people, don't work with them ... treat people nice because you never know what the other person is going through .. truly disgusting ...any ways 1 star because I literally was getting squirted with the water down my throat not at my teeth not on my gums down my throat I was drinking the water let's put it that way .. and I was yelled at and told I was the wrong one for almost choking lol . And was told I was being rude when I said not one word ... I've never been treated this way ..Don't go here they change your appointment time to 30 min before to say you missed the appointment to schedule their regulars even though im a regular every 6 months . Then treat you poorly and try drowning you then saying I smacked her (I went to grab the suction bc I couldn't breathe) when the doctor came back she said I pushed her arm( inconsistent Beth couldn't keep her story straight) and I then was speaking to the doctor about how her co worker also said as i went to sit " she didn't want to take me bc her regular that likes her wasn't going to have her and that's why she didn't want to attend me (while I'm sitting right there) " completely unprofessional .. beth hopped in the conversation not letting me finish with the doctor saying " ThAtS mY bEsTfRiEnD" like if I asked her ... I left here definitely realizing that the reviews are all true all though I never experienced this ever until today .. this must be a normal thing ..I walked in with my mask that's what must of triggered her craziness .. waiting on my letter from them saying they don't want me to return .. little do they know my pleasure ....

2 months ago I was told I needed a cavity filling and I came in to get it done. The filling was done very poorly because I had so much sensitivity in the tooth. I came back there and they said I needed a root canal done but there were no open appointments until 4 months later. So I decided to wait it out and deal with the sensitivity in my tooth since they said I'll be fine. Just recently during Christmas my tooth got infected and got an abscess on the gums where the tooth was. I was in major pain and my whole mouth was swelled up. Later on the swelling went up to my eye and it made my eye close up, and it got worse. We have called multiple times and no answer about it. On Christmas I ended up going to the emergency room because of being in so much pain and I was in the waiting room for over 13 hours. I was in the hospital for 3 days because of how bad my face was swelled up and I had cellulitis from it. I ended up seeing a different dentist since I still have yet to even have a call back from them. This ruined my entire Christmas because of what happened. I can promise I'm never coming back here and I don't recommend anyone else getting work done here either.

This Dentist is Nuts, I guess he thinks he is better than Everyone else! Look at his google reviews! Bedside Manners, Unprofessional Might be good Dentist but don't care about customers!

Geez. I wish I seen these reviews before going. He scheduled me for 9 fillings to my knowledge and when I went in, he was doing the fillings alone AND his machine stopped working in the middle of it and while I am laying there with stuff draining in my throat. When i started go gag, Dr Taras got irritated with me, especially when the spray stuff went up my nose and i reacted normally. it was his fault so Im not sure who he was getting irritated with BUT now im irritated. My teeth are a bigger mess and hurt soooo bad. Not only did he mess up my front teeth during fillings, he did 2 infected teeth and sent me home with no antibiotics. When I called about asking to be put on them, (i was numb at the time so I couldn't feel much) they insisted I came back in. and that was AFTER the first nurse 'forgot' about my call. no thanks. I wasnt in pain when I seen them to begin with, now im in pain. My teeth didn't hurt to chew, no they do. I didn't get migraines til he touched my mouth, now i do. I take at least 8 advil a day and still in pain, there is an abscess now as well where he 'worked' on my teeth and sores in the front where he put the needle. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND GOING ELSEWHERE!! Save your time, energy, money, and pain. im telling you.

Dr Taras is the nicest Dr. All my family goes here now. And his staffs amazing with my kids. To all the bad reviews it's just bad people being rude. One stalked his Facebook... Sad

Wonderful experience! Dr. Taras was the third dentist I had to visit within over a year's time to finally get to the bottom of what was going on with the pain I was having in my mouth. I have only met him and his staff once and had a terrific experience and will be returning. I highly recommend this dental practice, based upon my experience with them!

I was told I needed a root canal... in a tooth he filled a cavity in before hand. Made some rude comments about getting old lol which no sweat off my back but it was during a visit I had to have him file a cavity down. Seemed like he was irritated I had a complaint. Found my own endodontist instead of the one he referred me to and I didn't need a root canal after all.
