Dr. Mike is the heart and soul of Sulens Dental Studio. His sense of fun, passion for his patients and clinical excellence set the tone of our office. Hes honestly interested in every patient and that heartfelt interest extends to the people he meets at the grocery store and local football games. His gentleness makes it possible for his patients to enjoy their visits to maintain their dental health.
After graduating from Bishop Rosecrans High School, Dr. Mike completed his undergraduate degree in microbiology at The Ohio State University. He earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 2011 and began practicing soon thereafter.
Dr. Mike furthers his education in dentistry every year, and has received additional certifications in Invisalign and soft tissue laser treatment. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Ohio Dental Association and the Muskingum Valley Dental Society.
While fun is awesome, its vital that we provide every patient with superior dental care. Were devoted to maintaining excellent skills and state-of-the-art equipment so we can ensure every patient gets superb care.
We know that visiting the dentist is not always pleasurable, so we want you to know that your comfort is very important to us. Dr. Mike has an incredibly gentle touch and knows how to keep patients more comfortable than they think is possible. My family and I have been patients of Dr. Sulens for many years. He is very thorough with his care and I love his enthusiasm for his work! His staff is very professional and the office is beautiful! I highly recommend Dr. Sulens!

I'm new to the area. Dr. Sulen and his team made my transition to a new office wonderful. Everyone is joyful and helpful from the moment you walk in the door until the time you leave. Throughout my time in the chair Dr. Sulen, Lisa, Janet, Brittany, and Dwight made sure I was comfortable, cared for and relaxed. Everyone should know that the chairs in Dr. Sulen's office massage you while you get your teeth cleaned. I'll never miss a cleaning again!

I've been a patient of Dr. Sulens for almost 2 years now, and I continue to be impressed with him and his staff. They are all professional, competent, knowledgeable, and friendly. Their technology is also impressive. They offer a wide range of services, and they show genuine concern for their patients. They stay on schedule, and their positive attitudes make a visit to the dentist as pleasant as possible.

I love Lisa the hygeniest. Always so fun and friendly and genuinely cares about her patients. Dwight, the ever present fur ball always makes for a great visit and oh yea, Dr. Mike. ALWAYS in a great mood. I would not go anywhere else!

From the time I arrived at the Dental Office Parking lot to the time I left I felt like they valued my time and did not waste it making me wait like most Dr. Offices do now. When I got to the parking lot I called and announced I was there. They had me go right in. I gave them my information and was taking back right away. Olivia took care of me and cleaned my teeth and had me ready for the Dr. He came right in after she was done and again I did not have to wait. As soon as He was finished and answered all my questions they set me up with a follow up appointment and sent me on my way. It was one of the smoothest Dr. Appointments I have ever experienced. They were gentle and attentive to my needs. I will recommend this office for sure.

I had a dental emergency and my dentist office was closed and said to call Dr. Mike. They got me right in. Everyone was wonderful and the place beautiful. Dwight the therapy dog was quite the extra bonus. He stayed in the room with me to keep me calm. lol. Would highly recommend!

They were so awesome with my 4 year old. They made sure she was comfortable and walked her through the whole process so that she wouldn't be scared. The whole experience was great and I would highly recommend them!

Had a difficult situation being 7. Hours. Away out of town = Dr. Mike and I were on the phone three days. In a row..to help alleviate pain. Got back and saidneeded root canal! Sent me toDr. Balasco in Columbus and he was the best endo ever. I am never disappointed in the wonderful help i get from this office and staff. Just outstanding!! I have a second review from 3/22//2021, but couldn't figure out how to put it up separately - anyway, got cleaned and was treated well, as usual, and will be going back to do a little adjustment on my night guard. I'm always super pleased with everyone here. The most pleasant group to interact with!!

Always the best of care. My teeth are so clean after being deep cleaned. It is wonderful to know that your teeth aren't suffering from any problem. Health of your body starts in your mouth. And the strawberry flavored toothpaste tastes great!
