Dr. Shannon is the best. Over the years he removed all three of my kids wisdom teeth without incident. From scheduling to removal, the process was always seamless. Many years later, I called the office, with more pain in my jaw than I can describe, and was seen the same day. I was probably one of his most difficult patients to diagnose. I couldn't open my mouth and the pain was shocking and indescribable, but he was able to make a diagnosis, get me into the hospital, perform surgery, and save my life. From the office visits, imaging, exams, surgery and hospital visits, Dr. Shannon and his team were perfect. They run a busy practice daily, but clearly know when a distressed patient needs immediate attention. I will forever be grateful for his knowledge, his time and his calming, compassionate demeanor when it was needed most.

I got my wisdom teeth out with this doctor. My doctor was switch about 5 minutes before the surgery, so I had never met him. He came running in and was rushing everywhere and everything he was doing. He did not introduce himself or ask me how I was. I was just another number to him and the office. He stuck me with the IV right away with out explaining anything. He stuck the IV into my vein because he was in such a hurry so I started bleeding. He then tried to do the IV through my hand. When he finally got it, he was taping the IV down so aggressively that it was moving in my hand and it was extremely uncomfortable. I winced a little and he looked at me and said "what?" After the surgery was over he came rushing in again and asked the person picking me up if the nurse told him everything and then left in a hurry again without further explanation. He is NOT personable at all and I did not feel comfortable having the surgery done with him.

It is unacceptable to wait 1 hour and 20 minutes for an appt. People were leaving or rescheduling. Took elderly mother 3 times and every time waited an unacceptably long time. Dr. was not very kind to his assistant, and she was the nicest person in the place. I found his personality to be curt and matter of fact. All that aside, the wait time alone is enough for us to go somewhere else.

Awful experience. I've had bad experiences with dentists lately and had to have a tooth pulled. I'm very resistant to local anesthetic so at 3 injections and my crying that I'm in pain, he decides to yell at me "look, I've given you 3 injections of local anesthetic, there's no way you can still feel pain!". I told them and wrote down in the paper work that I specifically have a lot of anxiety with dentist and medical settings, and still he thinks it's okay to yell. The assistants were quiet and when he went to get my prescription, one asked how I was feeling and I responded "I don't like him." And she says "yeah he' s a little rough around the edges." He was mean, he was too rough (there was a blood splatter on the floor) and the nurses didn't really seem to care. Tldr; he's a terrible person. Do not go here.
