Doctor Lavelle is a 1985 graduate of Georgetown School of Dentistry. Born and raised on Long Island, he relocated to the Mohawk Valley in 1991. He has been in private practice for over 20 years. Doctor Lavelle is a member of the American Dental Association, the New York State Dental Society, the Fifth District Dental Society and the Oneida-Herkimer Dental Society. He also volunteers at the SUNY Canton hygiene program in Rome.

I've been a patient for 18 years. This dentist is not like any other dentist I've seen. He's very easy to talk to and I it's his patients at ease with any procedure. Absolutely awesome To deal with.

Dr. Lavelle has been my dentist for over 12 years now. He was recommended to me by a co-worker who was a patient of his because he accepted our dental insurance. I am glad she recommended him and despite him no longer participating with my dental insurance, I am still a patient there. Their prices are still within the limits of my dental insurance and I only end up having to pay around $10 a year out of pocket. Dr. Lavelle is professional yet laid back and makes the visits feel comfortable, like you are visiting a friend. He has only recommended dental work that is truly needed. Cheryl is great and Teri is the best hygienist. I also managed to convince my husband who was extremely apprehensive about dentists in general to go there. He loves going to Dr. Lavelle's office and would probably go more often if he had his say.

Is it weird to tell all of your friends how much you love your dentist visits? I brag on about Dr Lavelle's office from how sweet Cheryl is at the front desk, the amazing decorations for every occasion, how I've never waited more than a few minutes, and how personable everyone is! I love the casual atmosphere and a quick visit.

Dr. LaVelle has been my family's dentist for many years. He and Cheryl are warm and friendly people. The office is inviting, and his staff is knowledgeable and friendly. I honestly look forward to my appointments!

Welcoming office with friendly and kind staff. Between Cheryl and the rest of the staff I only have kind words. Dr. Lavelle is also wonderful and makes you feel at ease. I have been going here for years and will not go anywhere else.
