Dr. Barker was born and raised in Boaz, Alabamaand graduated from Boaz High Schoolin 1968. His dad was a medical doctorin Boaz, but Michaelset his sights onbecoming a dentist to best serve the needs of the growing community. Heattended UAB Birmingham Dental School where hegraduated in 1976.
He started his dental practice in his dad's office in Boaz. Having adequate space for all of the needed dental equipment forced the need for another location. Dr. Barkerbuilt a new building andmoved his practice tothe current location at 222 South Main Streetin 1978.

Best Dentist around this area! Everybody in the staff is so nice and informative. I'm usually very nervous when I go to the dentist but I was very calm here and not scared at all. Once I was in the dental chair they made me feel very comfortable and they go out of their way and do the absolute best. I would highly recommend to anybody around who is looking for a good dentist

I had a great experience getting my teeth cleaned. The staff is always so nice and sweet. My teeth feel so clean and the care they provided was excellent. I was very comfortable the entire time of my cleaning. I highly recommend coming here to get your teeth cleaned if you want the best dental care!
