Meet Dr. Szarek, an experienced clinician in the practice of cosmetic and restorative dentistry. Dr. Szarek received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine in 1994. In 1995, he completed his General Practice Residency at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford, Connecticut. Dr. Szarek has completed several advanced post-graduate courses including training in complex full mouth reconstruction at the Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Education.

Dr. Szarek also serves on the Board of Directors for the New England Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and is past president of the Greater Lowell Dental Society. He is also a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Massachusetts Dental Society, Merrimack Valley Dental Society, and American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.

Dr. Dorothy Narvaez-Woods is a very proud veteran of the U.S. Navy having served as a general dentist earning the rank of lieutenant where she was deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom 2 with the USS Tarawa Amphibious Group.

Anita is a familiar face around the office. She has been working alongside Dr. Szarek since 2011. She graduated from Middlesex Community College with an associate degree in dental assisting in 2009. At our practice, she works hard to make sure that every patient receives the highest level of patient care. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and friends and vacationing in the Aores.

Melanie is a graduate of Middlesex Community College Dental Assisting program and has been practicing for more than 20 years. Her experience goes beyond general dentistry, which enables her to assist on a variety of complex cases we perform. In her spare time, Melanie enjoys being at the beach with her kids Cameron and Chloe.

Katie graduated from Middlesex Community College in 2009 with an associate degree in dental assisting. She loves to get to know each patient on a personal level and is sure to put a smile on your face or share a laugh. Katie brings the sunshine to the office. She loves spending time with her husband, two adorable children, Michael and Lana, and everyone in her huge group of friends and family!

Ashley graduated from Middlesex Community College in 2014 with an associate degree in dental hygiene. She joined Dr. Szareks team in 2015. In addition to performing cleanings, Ashley believes that building relationships with her patients based on trust will enable her to provide the highest level of care. In her free time she enjoys traveling, shopping, and spending time with her family and two dogs, Bella and Goose.

Deme graduated from Forsyth School of Dental Hygiene with a bachelors degree in science in 2018. She strives to make every visit a positive experience for the patient and to keep the fun machine running in the office. When shes not with patients, she can be found indulging in coffee, running with her dogs, Dawson and Sawyer, or making trips to visit family in Florida and Canada with her husband. Deme is hoping to make the world a better place, one smile at a time.

Rebecca is a 1994 graduate of Forsyth School for Dental Hygiene in Boston. She has more than 20 years of dental experience. Rebeccas focus is on providing high-quality care to her patients and educating them on maintaining good oral health. She has two busy teenagers and spends her free time at their various sporting events.

Betsy started her dental hygiene career with Dr. Szarek more than 20 years ago and is happy to be back. Betsy has a bachelor of arts degree from University of Maine and an associate of science in dental hygiene from Middlesex Community College. She has more than 20 years in clinical hygiene experience and was an adjunct professor at Middlesex Community College in the dental hygiene department. Professional Memberships include: American Dental Hygiene Association, MA Dental Hygiene Associates, MA Teachers Association and Ambassador for Coco Floss. Outside of work Betsy enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Betsys famous motto is butterflies and rainbows!

Tracy graduated from Middlesex Community College with an associate in dental hygiene in 1997. Her 20+ years of experience allows Tracy to deliver top-quality care to her patients. She has a unique ability to get to know all of her patients on a personal level and it shows because she has been treating many of her patients for more than 20 years! Tracy loves spending her free time with her family and going to Disney with her husband and three children, Maggie, Katie, and Jack.

Marcille has been in the dental field for almost 15 years and has worked at Dr. Szareks office since 2013. Shes committed to helping patients understand their dental insurance coverage and coordinate their treatment. She spends most of her free time with her husband cheering on her sons, Trevor and Logan, at their various sporting events.

Jessica has been in the dental field for more than 25 years and has worked for Dr. Szarek since 2010. She graduated from Middlesex Community College with an associate degree in dental assisting in 2005. Her main role as a treatment coordinator is complimented by her dental assisting background. In her free time she enjoys being outdoors in the sunshine with her husband and two sons.

Carolyn has been in the dental field since 1990 and started with Dr. Szareks office in 2021. She has more than 20 years of office management experience. She is the first person you see when you walk in, and she will greet you with a big smile. In her free time, Carolyn enjoys spending time with her husband Ken and daughter Isabella at the beach, amusement parks, or cheering for Bella at her various sporting events.
