Our staff has decades of combined experience in dentistry, each with unique talents, and many have been with us for more than 15 years. Above all, we know how to make your visits pleasant and enjoyable; we love sharing a laugh, a smile, or listening to what your kids have been up to lately. We treat teeth, but most importantly, we treat people.
Dr. Michael Smith was raised in New Melle, a small town in Missouri. He attended St. Louis University High School, Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, and finally SIU School of Dental Medicine, graduating in 2011. Dr. Smith joined Dr. Feder in 2013 as an employee and decided to invest his future in Belleville by purchasing the office in 2017.
He joined the Illinois Army National Guard in 2008 and is currently a Lieutenant Colonel serving as the Illinois State Dental Officer. Dr. Smith spends his duty weekends in Springfield, Illinois screening soldiers from across the state for dental problems and administrating the national guards statewide dental health program.
Dr. Smith enjoys spending time restoring his 1860s home, where he lives with his wife and children. He is also interested in fitness, healthy eating, woodworking, automotive repair, and meeting the offices IT needs.
Dr. Snowber Fazili graduated from Boston University, Goldman School of Dental Medicine in 2008. With over 10 years of clinical experience in private and public health care settings, she is committed to provide comprehensive and high quality dental care in a kind and caring environment. Dr. Fazilis treatment philosophy is based on disease prevention and education enabling patients to make informed decisions about their oral health.To stay current on the latest advancements in dentistry, she takes continuing education courses throughout the year. Dr. Fazili lives in Brentwood, MO with her husband and two boys.
Dr. Nick Ridenhour was born in Ballwin, Missouri, a city about 30 minutes from St. Louis. He attended Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama, where he obtained a Bachelors in Sports Medicine. Afterwards, he attended the Indiana University School of Dentistry in Indianapolis, Indiana, graduating in 2021.
Dr. Ridenhour returned to his hometown to contribute to the dental health of the St. Louis community and surrounding areas. Dr. Ridenhour joined Dr. Smith in his practice as an associate in June 2021. He works in Belleville Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, and works parttime at a practice in St. Louis on Mondays and Wednesdays.
Dr. Ridenhour lives in St. Louis with his wife and eight-month-old son. In his free time, Dr. Ridenhour enjoys spending time with his family above all else. His interests include hiking, fitness, reading, football, and doing projects around the house.
Dawn is trained as a certified dental assistant and also helps patients as our office manager. She enjoys working in our dental practice, where we genuinely care about our patients and a staff that works hard to provide excellent care and the best possible experience for everyone who walks through our doors.
Carol has been providing expert dental hygiene care to our patients since 1981. She grew up in Granite City, Illinois and attended Southern Illinois University Carbondale. Carol loves helping our patients and learning about their families, many of whom have become friends over the years. She also enjoys working with such a fantastic team of professionals.
Carol and her husband Gary have been living in Maryville for 35 years, and she values spending time with family, especially her grandchildren. In her free time, you might find Carol traveling, boating, baking, or reading.
Cheryl received her dental hygienist training at Southern Illinois University Carbondale and has been a member of our team since 1988. She loves the fun, energetic atmosphere of our office and enjoys meeting new patients and helping them with their oral health.
A graduate of Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, we welcomed Shannon to our dental team in 2001. As one of our skilled hygienists, she enjoys educating our patients about their oral health and making mouths happy.
Katherine is a native of Freeburg, Illinois and joined our dental practice in 2011. She received her assistant training at Advanced Dental Careers and enjoys her co-workers and getting to know our patients.
Beth received her dental assistant training at Advanced Dental Careers. She has been working with Dr. Smith and Dr. Feder since the end of May 2014. Beth loves interacting with our patients and is happy to be working in a profession where she can help people.
Brianna attended Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE), where she studied biological sciences. She has been with our dental practice since 2017 and enjoys working with people she can learn from, and who will push her to take on new and challenging opportunities. Brianna says that her favorite part of her job is getting to work with people that she can learn from and that will push her to take on new and challenging opportunities. Outside of dentistry, Brianna enjoys traveling, watching Netflix, shopping, hiking, and spending time with family and friends.
Olivia joined our dental team in 2019 and is one of the smiling faces youll see at our front desk. She loves meeting and getting to know our patients and helping soothe their anxiety about dental visits. Olivia also values working with such great coworkers.
After moving to the USA 13 years ago,Kathy spent 10 years working indental insurance processing. She made the decision to move to an office environment and it was the best decision. I feel everyone at the office has so much experience and all care about the patients and each other. They are one of the most dedicated teams I have had the opportunity to work with and learn from.
