What you will find at Michael S. Yung, DDS, is a team of dedicated and highly trained professionals whose primary goal is to provide you superior dental care using the latest state-of-the-art technology combined with years of experience.

We are a general dental practice and perform limited specialty procedures. If you require more specialized treatment, we prefer to work with local doctors who are specialists in that area. While this may seem a bit inconvenient, we believe superior service and skills are utilized by those we know to be the best at what they do.

Starting with your first visit, you will be immediately welcomed by our team of high-energy and friendly staff professionals who will ensure that you are comfortable and confident with the care you will receive.

On your very first visit, you will be given a Comprehensive Exam, by either Dr. Yung or one of his associates, which will include a full set of x-rays. The primary focus of this visit is data collection and an opportunity to establish rapport so that we can better understand your dental needs and expectations. We may not do a cleaning on your first visit due to either time or scheduling restrictions and hygienist availability. If you would like to have a cleaning on your first visit, please make the scheduler aware of your expectations so that we can better serve your needs. X-rays play a critical role in our ability to diagnose disease in your mouth. It is not sufficient to find and diagnose disease based only on a visual exam and this is considered the standard of care for the ADA as well as Dr. Yung's office. Under certain circumstances, x-rays can be delayed, especially if there is a medical reason involved that is supported by your physician.

Hello my name is Kristy and I have been in the dental field for over 15 years now. I attended Bryman College in 1999 where I became a dental assistant. After working back office for many years, I decided to give the front office a try. I fell in love with Insurance, patient billing and collections. When I am not at work I enjoy being a mother of 3 young men. Gabriel & Ernie both attend Pasadena City College & Jesse will soon be in Jr. High School. I also enjoy working out and hiking on the weekends.

I have been in the dental field since 2006, first working as a dental assistant and now as a hygienist. I graduated from Cerritos College Dental Hygiene Program. I am very passionate in what I do and devoted to improving oral health.

I am the mommy to two amazing boys Christopher 10 and Matthew 8. During my time away from work, I spend most of my time at club basketball tournaments in which our boys have played in and recently won a championship.

I am a Registered Dental Assistant for Dr. Yung part-time and work assisting the Veterans during the rest of the week. What I enjoy most about my job is getting to know patients and interacting with them at their visits. Since becoming a dental assistant, I have grown not only as an assistant but a person as well and I am thankful to our patients for that.

Hello, my name is Jamie. I was born and raised in San Marino, California in a fun, Italian family. I am the youngest of three siblings as well as an aunt to two nieces and one nephew. I love spending time with my family and our Boston terrier, Alexandar. When I'm not working as a dental hygienist, I'm exercising at the gym or watching a good movie.

My favorite part about practicing as a dental hygienist is meeting and getting to know each patient. I have met so many interesting and friendly people throughout my career. I strive for patient comfort and wellness, because I care about the well-being of others.

My name is a Michael Jason but everyone just calls me Jason. I was born and raised in Atwater Village. I have been in the dental field since 1998, starting off as a Registered Dental Assistant. Growing up, I had an experience with a hygienist that could have been better - they neither caring nor gentle. This encouraged me to become the best hygienist possible one who would be gentle, comforting, caring and informative. In 2005, I met Dr. Yung while attending the dental hygiene program at Pasadena City College. He was one of my clinical instructors, not to mention a great mentor. I graduated top of my class in 2007 and was then offered a position in Dr. Yungs private office. In 2011, I became a Registered Dental Hygienist in Alternative Practice (RDHAP). This license enables me to deliver dental hygiene care outside the traditional dental office setting such as in residential care facilities, assisted living centers, skilled nursing facilities, schools, and in residences of the homebound. I take pride in my work and enjoy educating patients on proper oral hygiene care. During my time off I enjoy taking rides in my classic Mustang and working on it as well. I have a lovely wife of whom I have been married to for 4 years.

Being a dental assistant is such a rewarding job in which I truly love coming into work every day. Seeing the smiles of the patients is such a great feeling and in the future, I would like to see that happen every day when I have my own practice. Currently, I am a student at Pasadena City College studying Biology with the end goal of becoming a dentist.
