Dr. Michael S. Mayer, DMD is a Rochester native. He graduated from Brighton High School in 1982, Syracuse University in 1986, and Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 1991. He completed post-graduate training at University of Rochester Eastman Dental Center, where he is now on the faculty. Dr. Mayer is the Chief of Dental Services at the Jewish Home of Rochester and Staff Dentist at the Fairport Baptist Homes. Dr. Mayer has been serving the Rochester community since 1991.

I've been a patient for 20+ years. As my dental needs have changed Dr. Mayer has been able to address and take care of everything! My kids go to the dentist without a single complaint (if that's not worth 5 stars I don't know what is)!! Dr. Mayer is personable and gets to know his patients. Highly recommend his practice.

I hadn't been to a dentist for well over 25 years and knew I had several issues. Saw a TV ad for Dr. Mayer being the official dentist of the Red Wings, called him and set up a visit. He fit me in on my way home from work that week. Very satisfied after all the repair work was done. Now after close to fifteen years later, every six months I go back for cleanings and checkups. I highly recommend Mike.

I have had a huge fear of visiting a dentist after failed wisdom teeth extractions and had not gone for many years. I spoke with Dr. Mayer yesterday afternoon. He got me an emergency appointment this morning to diagnose my trouble and then squeezed me in at the end of the day to take care of it. He was able to successfully do what previous dentist has failed. He explained everything and made sure I knew what he was doing every step of the way and I was pleasantly surprised that it was also relatively painless. I would recommend Dr. Mayer to anyone.
