Dr. Michael S. Connally is proud to call Midland his home. He grew up in Midland, moving here in 1979. His parents, Dale and Pat Connally also reside here. Dr. Connally graduated in 1990 from Lee High School, earned a Bachelor of Science degree from UTPB in 95, and graduated from Baylor College of Dentistry in 1999.
After graduating, he and his wife Jenny, along with newborn son Cayden, moved to the small Central Texas town of Rockdale. This was a great place to gain experience as a new dentist, but it just wasnt home. When the opportunity arose to purchase a practice in Midland he jumped at it. Dr. Connally has been in practice here since January of 2000 and loves being part of a growing, service-based profession.
Dr. Connally is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Permian Basin Dental Society, American Academy of General Dentistry, Texas Academy of General Dentistry and International Congress of Oral Implantologists. In addition, Dr. Connally is licensed for Internal Conscious Sedation and earned a preceptorship in Oral Implantology from the University of Texas at San Antonio Dr. Connally has extensive experience in all areas of family dentistry including:
Dentistry is a very exciting profession! I enjoy experiencing all the different facets of dentistry, it keeps me on my toes. Providing patients with the most comprehensive oral and dental health is the goal of my practice. Also, there are so many new advances in technology and the delivery of dental care will always keep my interest. I want my practice to always provide state-of-the-art delivery, with the most aesthetic materials available. This is what patients want and it gives me great satisfaction when a patient says, Wow, this looks great! I wish I would have done this years ago!
Dr. Connally loves practicing dentistry, but his true happiness comes from his family, friends, church and love of Christ. Jenny and Mike were married in 1996. They have two teenagers, a handsome son, Cayden and precious daughter, Cassidy. Dr. Connally and his family call Golf Course Road Church of Christ their extended, larger family. In his spare time, youll find Dr. Connally on the golf course, spending time with his family; or friends, but probably a combination of all three.

I can't say enough about how fantastic Dr. Connally's office is. Everyone is friendly and makes you feel very comfortable. Dr. Connally has made my teeth/gums the healthiest they have ever been and given me a pearly white smile!

I went to a new dentist with a little bit of uneasiness. My previous dentist had retired, the pandemic restrictions had let up so it was time to start visiting medical professionals I had been put off. When I entered the office, I was greeted by a pleasant, professional and polite lady who took my information. As I went to the back of the office for my appointment, the dental assistant was as kind and patience as the woman I had spoke of prior. When Dr. Connally came in to meet me, he was attentive to my whole story and afterwards gave me his well thought out professional opinion. Dr Connally has started me on the path of what I know will be my new dental family. Thank you staff for making my experience great.

Mike is by far my favorite dentist over my 58 years of dentistry. He is so nice and caring and gives good shots!! Autumn does a great job cleaning my teeth and the rest of the staff are so friendly and accommodating. I would not go anywhere else!

Horrible experience. He obviously does not know what he's doing. My husband had to call back on a Friday after my procedure because I was in show much pain. Dr. Connally was playing golf and blew us off. He had me come back in on Monday and he let a dental hygienist look at the root canal. The trouble with this area has gone on for years all because of this man. He over charges, he's arrogant, and he is not qualified. I would not recommend going here.

I have been a patient of Dr. Connally's for over 20 years & it saddens me to see how he has changed over those years. The one star I gave is for his staff, who are all excellent, but as for Michael Connally himself, he has become arrogant & shows very little compassion to his patients. He is a good Dentist but if you want someone who cares about their patients, has compassion for them & provides medications when needed (Like after extractions with bone scraping), then you definitely need to go elsewhere for your dental needs.

After reading online reviews, I decided to go to Dr. Connally about replacing an old crown I had from about 15 years ago to get a better fit and color match. I enjoyed the dental cleanings and I loved their Dental Hygienist Autumn. However, the color of the replacement crown Dr. Connally had put in from their lab was off and much darker than I had intended for this very expensive replacement. After letting Dr. Connally know how upset I was with the color of the replacement, he suggested finding another dentist to remove the crown with a laser to place whiter cement under the crown. This crown was the third order from their lab after the first two did not match in color. I am very disappointed with the suggestion that was made and the service that was delivered. Also, the office followed up with calls to cancel future cleaning appointments because they could tell I was upset with my crown. I did not receive the product I was promised as far as a perfect color match and am disappointed that I had to pay $1800 out of pocket for it.
