Dr. Michael R. Schwarz grew up in Metuchen, NJ, attending Boston University and New York University College of Dentistry and graduating in June 1985. He continued at NYUCD with a general practice residency. In November 1986 Dr. Schwarz started practicing in Plainfield, NJ where he has remained through this day.
In July 1992, Dr. Schwarz received the Academy of General Dentistrys Fellowship Award. The F.A.G.D. is presented to dentists who seek to provide the highest quality dental care by remaining current in their profession. To earn this prestigious honor the dentist must complete 500 hours of continuing dental education and pass a comprehensive written exam. Only 5% of practicing dentists have achieved the FAGD award. Dr. Schwarz has kept up his lifelong pursuit of continuing education as the profession is constantly changing and he feels there is always room for improvement.

Dr. Schwarz has been my dentist for 13 years so far. He is the best, very attentive, very knowledgable and gentle. Always there for me. Highly recommend, and his assistant is amazing too.
