Wildwood Family & Cosmetic Dentistry strives to help families feel welcome at our friendly, personable office when they receive quality dental care from our experienced team. We are run by a husband-wife team who purchased the practice in its 3rd generation in 2012. Our office has served the Toledo, Ohio, area for many years, and Dr. Michael O'Neill will continue to provide skilled, compassionate care for the patients who visit us.
Our office, dentist, and team support ideals that are two sides of the same coin. One side is patient comfort. We strive to give everyone a great dental experience, whether they are a child or a senior. The atmosphere at our office is welcoming and compassionate, so everyone who visits can feel comfortable. We also have the ability to offer nitrous oxide sedation for patients who feel nervous about receiving dental care.
The other side of the coin is skill and training. Our dentist isnt the only one here who has advanced education in dental procedures. The rest of our team has additional licensing and certificates than you would see in a typical practice. For example, both of our dental assistants have an EFDA, which stands for Expanded Functions Dental Assistant; allowing them to help you more than a traditional assistant could.
Welcome to Wildwood Family & Cosmetic Dentistry, where we are committed to providing excellent dentistry in Toledo, Ohio, and the surrounding areas of Sylvania, Ottawa Hills, Maumee, Holland, Oregon, and Perrysburg, Ohio, as well as Bedford, Temperance, and Lambertville, Michigan. Ours is a family practice run by a husband-wife team as well as our skilled, experienced staff members. You will see that everyone here works like a cohesive family unit when they improve the health and appearance of your smile through our dental services.
Dr. Michael ONeill graduated with honors from Bowling Green State University. He then attended dental school at Ohio State University, graduating in 2007. He has been a practicing dentist since graduation. Dr. ONeill completed a General Practice Residency Program at the University of Toledo Medical Center. Dr. ONeill is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the Seattle Study Club, Ohio Dental Association (ODA), and the Toledo Dental Society. His goal as a dentist is to establish a lifelong relationship of trust with every patient. Our dentist is committed to providing state-of-the-art dental care in a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere.
Dr. ONeill is married to Jaime, who is also a dentist. They have four children: Arianna, Greyson, Samantha, and Katherine. In his spare time, Dr. ONeill enjoys working out, cooking, skiing, wakeboarding, and spending time with his family and friends.
Dentistry holds a special place in Mateas heart because she watched her dad go through extensive treatment to restore his smile after a car accident. The major trauma to his head and teeth required root canals, partials, extractions and then finally dentures. Seeing him go through the process to receive his new smile made her want to give people that same comfort and confidence.
Matea absolutely loves doing anterior fillings and cosmetic enhancements. She loves all sports, especially softball which she played in college. In her spare time, she likes to scrapbook, read, and spend family time with her husband, son, mom, and sister.
Erica started working with our team in February of 2020 and has over twenty years of experience in the dental field. Erica loves helping people. Because she wants every patient to leave the office feeling like they have had the best care, she treats every patient as if they were her friends and family. She really enjoys helping people. When Erica is not working, she loves to spend time with her family outdoors, four-wheeling and playing board games. One of her hobbies is weightlifting.

I've been going to this dentist office for many years. Every time I go, I am greeted with smiles from my favorite receptionists and they take my back on a timely schedule. I always ask to have my favorite hygienist, tay, she talks to me about my fav shows and movies!! We're the same kind of weird! They always make me feel comfortable during my cleanings and procedures!! And after my appointments I get a prize as well!!! I love how adults get prizes too!!!

Dr Mike is amazing! We went to wildwood for a second opinion for my 7 year old daughter and he was very helpful and willing to work slowly with her adjusting. I switched to Dr Mike and My 7 year old loves him! We are clients for life now!

Five stars is not enough for Wildwood Family & Cosmetic Dentistry! I've been going there for several years, have received many types of dental services, and highly recommend the office. Dr. Jamie O'Neill, Dr. Michael O'Neill, and all of the assistants and hygienists I have dealt with have been outstanding. They have consistently provided excellent care while also ensuring that I am comfortable and understand treatment options.

I have a massive fear of the dentist. I mean I've had to go to therapy for it. I couldn't have randomly picked a better option for my first time going since I was a teenager. Chelsea the hygienist was amazing (I wouldn't have made it through without her) and Dr. Jamie was so kind and patient. The receptionist as well was so nice. I've got some work to do to get everything fixed but I feel pretty confident that I will be able to go back and that they will take care of me.
