Dr. Michael Montgomery Winner of the 2011 Top Doctor and Dentist in Los Angeles Award, Dr. Michael Montgomery is committed to providing the best care in dentistry today! With great passion, Dr. Montgomery and his team pursue the latest and most advanced techniques in esthetic dentistry, implant dentistry, preventive dentistry, and in treating sleep disorders. For over 30 years in his hometown of Playa del Rey, Dr. Montgomery has had the privilege and pleasure of providing great dental care at reasonable costs, while earning the trust and loyalty of patients, and building long lasting relationships.
A highly trained and skilled professional, Dr. Montgomery considers Continuing Education an essential ingredient in providing the ideal treatment options and individualized care for his patients. His formal dental training comes from UCLA, with over 1000 hours of additional courses from USC, University of Pacific, and Loma Linda University. Dr. Montgomery is also a member of highly regarded professional associations such as the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, Western Society of Periodontology, and the California Dental Association. He received his Master status with the Academy of General Dentistry in 2004, and formally served on the Peer Review Committee of the Western LA Dental Society for 10 years.
Irene Sandoval Office Manager Irene has been working in the general and orthodontic dental industry for over 20 years with experience in front and back office management. She is very knowledgeable about insurance and also bilingual in English and Spanish. When not at the office, Irene enjoys family, friends, the beach, music, dancing, and life. She is the proud mother of Justin (age 23), and is engaged to the love of her life.
Princess Abigail Opare Registered Dental Nurse Princess Abigail has been a member of Dr. Montgomerys team for 24 years. Born to royal lineage as the daughter of the Chief in Accra, the Capital City of Ghana, West Africa, Princess Abigail later attended St. Augustines College in Raleigh N.C. before relocating to California, where she entered the dental profession. In her spare time, the Princess enjoys traveling to Ghana for long holidays and royal treatment. Her hobbies include listening to jazz, gospel, and African music. She also loves to shop! Recently, she married her heart beat whom she affectionately calls Goose.
Gillian Joy Calimpon Registered Dental Hygienist Joy was born and raised in Manila, Philippines. She graduated with a degree of Dental Medicine Doctor from Centro Escolar University in Manila. She pursued another two years of schooling in Dental Hygiene in California to become a licensed Registered Dental Hygienist. She believes that to give service to her profession is to think of the welfare of others first. When not working, she enjoys hanging out with her family and checking on her nieces back in the Philippines with the help of technology. Travelling, good food, and good company for her makes life worthwhile!
Angie Williams RDH MPA Angie received her Dental Hygiene training from Meharry Medical College. She earned a B.S. degree in Healthcare Administration from Cal State Dominguez and a Masters degree in Public Administration from the University of San Francisco. She holds certificates in Healthcare Management and Medical Business Management from USC Marshall School of Business Office Executive Department. Certified in Laser Dentistry, Angie has practiced dental hygiene for over 40 years. She is also certified as a Quality Assurance Facility Auditor for the California Association of Dental Plans and has been consulting on Infection Control Compliance for over 18 years. Angie is a founder of the Inner City Dental Hygienists Society and former president of the National Dental Hygienists Association. Her hobbies include: walking, yoga, floral design, gift wrapping, and listening to jazz.
Leticia Sanchez DA Leity has been in the dental field for over 11 years with most of her experience in orthodontics. A proud mother of 3 children, Chris, Katie, and Angel, who is a US Marine. She loves to learn, dance, and assist others which she does very well in our office. Spanish speaking patients will enjoy her gentle touch as well as the conversation as she is one of two people in the office that speak Spanish.

Literally the best dentist and staff! I've been to several dentists in the past but Dr. Montgomery is by far the best. He's very knowledgeable and kind. My wisdom teeth removal process and healing was very easy and painless. All the hygienists and Beverly in front desk are so nice and makes coming to the dentist very easy. I always leave here feeling great and my mouth feeling very clean!

Everything you could hope for from a dentist. I went there with a cosmetic emergency. Dr Montgomery managed to see me at short notice and recognised my international insurance. I had no need to worry about visiting an unfamiliar dentist as the whole team were professional, caring and knowledgeable.

With every strip mall containing a dental office, it's reassuring to know that Doctor Montgomery is still serving the community with his knowledge, kindness, reasonable pricing and concern about his patience's dental health. I've been a patience for as long as I can remember and wouldn't consider using any other dentist especially one in a strip mall.

Dr. Montgomery is highly skilled, caring, and goes out of his way to help if one is in discomfort. He works with you to make a program to achieve good dental health including working with other doctors (periodontist, orthodontists) ensuring the process is fully beneficial to the goals. I've been his patient for over 4 years and trust him immensely.

Three weeks ago, I saw Michael. He replaced a cavity that fallen out. He did a great job. If there is any ever problems, he fixes it at no charge. I've had him as my dentist for a number of years. I'm real glad I have him.
