Veneers can concealstains, cracks, and chips. They can also refine the shape of your teeth, close gaps in your smile, and cover minor misalignment.Dr. Michael Molnarprovides a wide range of cosmetic services, including porcelain veneers, at his Tarrytown, NY,office. Veneers are thin shells of porcelain, specially designed to fit your smile, andcan also be shaded to match the rest of your teeth. As a former ceramist, Dr. Molnar has an artistic eye, and he will ensure that your veneers have an incredibly lifelike appearance.

If you struggle from a range of cosmetic blemishes including cracks, chips, stains, gaps, and minor misalignment, you may benefit from porcelain veneers. If you have severe discoloration that will not benefit from teeth whitening, veneers may be the right option for you. To receive veneers, you must have sufficient dental tissue and be in good oral health. If you currently have cavities or gum disease, you will need appropriate care before undergoing cosmeticprocedures.

If you do not qualify for porcelain veneers, or if you are looking for a more economicalprocedure, Dr. Molnar may suggest composite bonded veneers. These restorations are made from tooth-colored composite resin that is tinted to match your teeth. The process can be a much more affordable option for patients on a budget. However, the procedure will not provide as significant or long-lasting results as porcelain veneers.

Before placing veneers, Dr. Molnar will removea thin layer of enamel using advanced dental lasers. By removing tissue, he can make room for the porcelain and create a more secure bonding surface. Then he will take impressions of your teeth, which he will send to our dental lab. Before becoming a dentist, Dr. Molnar worked as a ceramist. With this background, he is committed to providing you with the most realistic results possible. He will work with our lab to ensure that your veneers fit correctly, match the color of your teeth, and have a natural sheen.

After the veneers come back to our office, Dr. Molnar will check their fit. Then he may treat your teeth with a mild chemical solution, which will lightly etch your dental tissue. The microscopic grooves will increase the surface area so that your veneers can bond more securely to your teeth. Finally, Dr. Molnar will attach the porcelain. In some cases, he may also perform cosmetic gum contouring to provide a better framework for your enhanced smile.

Porcelain veneers are a comprehensive cosmetic option. With this treatment, Dr. Molnar can address multiple cosmetic issues at once for a complete smile transformation. Despite the dramatic results, veneers placement does not involve significantalteration of your teeth. Though you may experience some slight sensitivity, the treatment typically involves minimal discomfort. Most noticeably, veneers are incredibly realistic. Our lab uses top-quality porcelain. They will find a color that is virtually identical to your smile, and the veneers will provide a beautifully lifelike shine.

Dental crowns, sometimes called caps, are a common option to restore damaged teeth.A crown will fit all the way over your decayed or weakened tooth, enhancing both its appearance and your dental function.Dr. Michael Molnarwill discuss your health needs to determine whether adental crownat ourTarrytown, NY,office is right for you.

In addition to traditional crowns, he can also provide implant-supported crowns for superior stability. Because he previously worked as a dental ceramist, Dr. Molnar understands the importance of aesthetically pleasing restorations. He will partner with our dental lab to ensure that your crown blends naturally with your smile.

Before placing a crown, Dr. Molnar will take x-rays and other scansto make sure that a crown is an appropriate restoration for you. When you are ready to begin treatment, he will carefully reshape your tooth. Typically using advanced dental lasers, he will remove damaged tissue and make room for your crown. Our dental toolsare very precise and do not produce unpleasant noises or friction.

When he is finished, Dr. Molnar will take impressions of your tooth. Ceramists at our lab will use these molds to create a crown that is a near-perfect fit. A former ceramist himself, Dr. Molnar will work closely with the lab. With this collaboration, he can provide a restoration that blends impeccably with your smile. Our crowns are made from a variety of advanced materials, including lithium disilicate, all-porcelain and zirconia. These offer'metal-free' cosmetic options.

If you are going to receive an implant-supported crown, you will first undergo implant surgery. Once your jaw has healed, Dr. Molnar can restore your implant with a custom-designed dental crown. Our implant-supported restorations are crafted with the same care and precision as traditional crowns.

Because a crown can completely coveryour tooth, it can often repair evenseverelydamaged teeth and prevent the need for extraction. The treatment can help you to enjoy complete smile and full dental function. If you are suffering from a toothache, your restoration canalso alleviate your discomfort, since Dr. Molnar will remove any bacteria or damaged tissue, and weakened areas of your tooth will no longer be exposed.

Additionally, a crown can enhance the appearance of your smile, blending with the shade of your teeth and matching your bite. Finally, our carefully-made crowns are very durable. When you care for your teeth properly, the restoration could last ten years or more.

Dr. Michael Molnaruses the latest dental technology to help you achieve a healthy, beautiful smile with accurate care and minimal discomfort. As part of his commitment to advanced techniques, he proudly offers a range of laser dentistry procedures at his Tarrytown, NY,practice. Using the advanced Biolase Waterlase laser, he can perform gum contouring, periodontal treatment, tooth reshaping, and more. In addition, Dr. Molnar can use DIAGNOdent laser cavity detection to diagnose dental decay in early stages.

BioLase Waterlase is an innovative tool, which uses laser energy to remove gum tissue or to reshape teeth. At the same time, high-power streams of water and air will moisturize and soothe the surrounding tissue.

DIAGNOdent laser cavity detection will measure the base levels of fluorescence in your teeth. Dr. Molnar can then analyze your other teeth against this initial reading. High levels of fluorescence will typically indicate the presence of a cavity. With early detection, he can provide swift, more effective restorative care.

  • Gum contouring: If you have a crooked or irregular gum line, Dr. Molnar can remove small amounts of tissue with the laser. As he works, he will sculpt your gums to create a larger, more evenframework for your teeth.
  • Frenectomy:A frenum is a small piece of tissue, either located between your upper lip and gums or under your tongue. If a frenumis too large or tight, it can cause aesthetic problems or speech impediments. During a frenectomy, Dr. Molnar will remove the excess tissues.
  • Crown and veneer placement:Before attaching dental restorations, Dr. Molnar will need to prepare your teeth and make room for the porcelain. Lasers will enable him to remove very small, conservative amountsof dental tissue.
  • Crown lengthening: If you have a tooth that has broken off near or below your gum line, Dr. Molnar may remove some tissue to expose your tooth. This process allows more successful treatment withdental crowns.
  • Dr. Molnar offers laser dentistry because of the many benefits of this advanced technology. Waterlase treatments involve minimal discomfort. The stream of water will cool your gums and prevent unpleasant friction or noise. Laser procedures are also highly precise. Using a laser, Dr. Molnar can remove much smaller amounts of tissue than he could with manual techniques, andcan achieve personalized cosmetic results. He can also minimize the impact to your gums and teeth. Additionally, soft tissue laser procedures involve negligible recovery time because the laser will seal your blood vessels during treatment. Consequently, you should experience very little post-treatment sensitivity and bleeding. In addition, the laser will sterilize your tissues during your procedure. Because of this, your treatment will pose a much lower risk of infection.

DIAGNOdent has its own unique set of advantages. The device can usually reveal decay in the earliest stages, long before your cavity is visible to the naked eye. As a result, Dr. Molnar can often diagnose cavities in the initial stages. Then he can treat decay using conservative fillings, rather than more extensive restorations.

He saved me from an unnecessary filling recommended by another local dentist for a supposed painless cavity (it wasn't a cavity). Dr. Molnar and his team clearly want to preserve your enamel if possible, not just drill it. Other bonuses: Beautiful office. Cohesive team approach to your care. No wait. Modern technology including digital transilluminating cameras allowing you to see what Dr. Molnar sees.

Unprofessional, rude, and lacks patience! Dr. Molnar should not practice with individuals with developmental disabilities! He is an indecent human being.

Dr Molnar and his staff are the absolute best. He helped me with dental work which totally boosted my confidence and made my self esteem feel so great. I lost my longtime girlfriend to cancer while he was treating me and his concern on how I was doing and checking to make sure I was taking care of myself went above and beyond. He is a pleasure to see and speak with and I'm forever grateful that I found him

It is rare that I take the time to write a review, but as a person who fears going to the dentist, I can tell you that Dr. Molnar and his staff make me feel at home and comfortable. I have been going to Dr. Molnar for over 15 years now. His office is extremely clean, has a quaint small town feel to it. Dr. Molnar pays attention to detail, does amazing high quality work, aims for perfection and is just an amazing, caring man. He's the best dentist I've ever been to.

Why isn't ten stars possible??? And, more importantly, why did I not know about the opportunity to leave a Google review eight years ago when I first saw Dr. Molnar? Had I know I would have left a string of positive reviews over the years! (I inherited structurally poor teeth that have required significant work over my lifetime done by more dentists and specialists than I can remember - and Dr. Molnar is a keeper!) As another Reviewer pointed out, the entire office staff are personable and a pleasure to deal with but I want to focus on Dr. Molnar. First of all, he puts up with listening to the long history of each tooth whenever a new problem arises. He doesn't dismiss my input as so many other professionals of all stripes tend to do. There was the orthodontist who shifted a molar forward to take up the space left by the loss of the other molar. Unfortunately, the dentist who extracted that first molar left a root tip in my jaw and when the orthodontist shifted the other molar, it hit that root tip. This has required significant work over the years. Dr. Molnar helped figure a way to extend the bridge I wanted to eliminate the pain that resulted when I chewed and the molar hit on the root tip. See? That's just one brief story of a single instance of the dental issues I've faced. And Dr. Molnar listened to me, considered various alternatives and presented them to me. Amazingly, his office is never rushed and I always feel comforted and taken care of with each visit. Now that I know I can share a review here, I'll save future reviews for future visits - with my teeth there will be plenty of them! But I am glad for the chance to share my experiences of Dr. Molnar with the world at large - I've already gotten my husband and at least one co-worker to see him but word of mouth only goes so far. I hope this review is seen by many. It's one of the small ways I can re-pay Dr. Molnar and his staff for the wonderful treatment I've received over the years.

Dr. Molnar and his office staff are wonderful. You are treated so well, from the time you walk in the door to when you leave. Twice I had problems with my teeth where Dr. Molnar went above and beyond. Once opening the office just to see me when I broke a tooth and another time when I was prepared to pay for an expensive procedural and he suggested something so simple, and NOT expensive - and it worked beautifully. I have never been 'up-sold' and I won't see another dentist.

My experience at Dr. Molnar's office was OUTSTANDING. Nancy, the hygienist was exceptional in providing great detail and education while she cleaned my teeth. She informed me all about how to help change my habits for the better and how these habits would improve my health. It was inspiring and has assisted me greatly in taking better care of my teeth and mouth in general. Today, my visit with Dr. Molnar was of the same quality. He took the time to educate me in a productive and relatable manner. Never once was I uncomfortable or nervous. His demeanor is very relaxing as is the environment of the office, which is clean and inviting. I will never go to a different dentist as long as I live! Thank you Dr. Molnar and staff!

My NYC dentist of many years retired, and I became a patient of Dr. Molnar just a few months ago. I came to him with the hope of avoiding a very expensive implant program that had been previously recommended. With no firm promises, Dr. Molnar has begun an extensive, non-implant, reclamation program that has been thorough, well discussed and pain tolerable. To date, I could not be more pleased.
