After growing through the Wappingers Central School District, I attended SUNY Albany, graduating Summa Cum Laude in 2005 with my Bachelors of Science in Biology. Immediately following my graduation, I attended the School of Dental Medicine at SUNY Stonybrook, where I led my class as Class President for two terms. I graduated with my Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2009.
I then completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency at the VA Hudson Valley Health Care System Castle Point campus, treating our areas veterans. While there, I had the privilege of working under the close guidance of very skilled clinicians, who have been instrumental in helping shape my treatment philosophy. In August of 2010, I entered private practice, joining my father. Following my fathers retirement in late 2012, I took over as our sole clinician. While I like all aspects of dentistry, I have a particular interest in composite restorations and fixed prosthetics.
I take great pride in my profession and I enjoy my work tremendously. I am always seeking to improve myself professionally, through continuing education courses and by studying products/techniques in my spare time. Building strong relationships with my patients is very important to me, and I am committed to doing so.
I am a member of the Dutchess County Dental Society, the 9th District Dental Society, the New York State Dental Association, and the American Dental Association. I served on the executive board of our countys dental society in 2012, and currently serve as our societys Dutchess County Science fair judge.
Dental implants are the most durable and functional tooth replacement option available today. The implant is comprised of a titanium post that serves as the root of your replacement tooth, a porcelain crown, and an abutment that attaches the crown to the implant. With proper oral care, a dental implant can replace a natural tooth for a lifetime.
First, your doctor will take x-rays of your mouth and determine the optimal placement of the implant along your jawline. Once the implant has been surgically placed, the abutment and crown will be attached during restoration procedures. Most patients report less pain during recovery than with wisdom teeth extractions, but any discomfort can be treated with over-the-counter pain medication. Simply put Dr. and staff are the best. Dr. Manasar went above and beyond in every aspect to deliver a five-star service. He is very knowledgeable and explained my specific situation perfectly. After moving and looking for a new dentist, my family and I certainly have found the best.

I finished up my 6 month check-in with Dr. Manasar today and I wanted to say a few kind words. Having been referred to him through family, I have been going to Dr. Manasar for the past two years, after a 10 year miss of NO dental care!! (Basically all of my twenties). Being a nicotine user, heavy coffee drinker and lover of good red wine, my teeth were covered in brown plaque and I was honestly embarrassed to smile. Dr. Manasar was awesome! Somehow, he removed all the plaque after my first visit! He got me started on a teeth whitening regiment and I have been returning every six months for regular visits. Always professional, friendly and courteous, he was very supportive in helping me get back on track with my dental health. My wedding was last summer and I was beyond confident with my smile and bright white teeth!! Only have great things to say and I highly recommend him! Go check him out in the Village of Wappingers!

I have been going to Dr. Manasar for several years now. He is by far, the best dentist I have ever known. He came highly recommended by a neighbor and I was not disappointed. He performs all the cleanings and exams himself and is extremely gentle and patient. I never feel rushed and he listens to all my concerns and questions. The office is clean and well organized and all the hygienists and staff/ managers I have ever been in contact with have made me feel welcome and safe. I would highly recommend him or all your dental health needs!

There really is no way I can put into words how AMAZING Dr. Manasar is. He is BY FAR hands down the *best* dentist there is. As far as his personality, he will go out of his way to make sure you are comfortable. The dentist can be a pretty intimidating place but let me tell you, for a person who USED to be deathly afraid of the dentist, I have absolutely no fears or worries every visit. He is a perfectionist when it comes to his dentistry. He will not stop until whatever he is working on, is perfect... and idk about you people, but, if he's doing work on my *teeth, then being a perfectionist is going to work out in your favor. It is not possible for anyone to leave there with any kind of doubts or disappointments. Win / Win situation all around. Last but not least, his references, his referrals, what I mean is if you need any other work that he needs to send you to somebody else for, DONT WORRY. I had to go to a Root Canal Specialist who was also AMAZING, and then I had to go to a periodontist, and YEP, HE WAS AMAZING TOO. Dr. Manasar has put together an A-TEAM of references (so to speak) and they are all just the best you could ask for. Seriously. If you are searching for a new dentist, or even just need some work done, don't even think about it just call Dr. Manasar and I promise you will not regret it. I am soooooooo happy I met Dr. Manasar. Ok so maybe I could put it into words but this still doesn't do justice to the level of EXCELLENCE over at Manasars!!

Dr. Manasar is such a great dentist that he has largely cured my life-long fear of dentists (and doubt I would have developed the phobia if he had been my childhood dentist). EVERYONE who works in this practice are wonderful, compassionate, professional people, and Dr. M performs painstaking preventative work in order to award you the best oral health possible. In addition, he is one of the nicest, most attentive, thorough medical professionals I have ever encountered in ANY setting. I trust him and his painstaking work implicitly, and will never go to another dentist as long as this office is open.

Michael Manasar is the best dentist I have ever had!! You are not just another patient going to the dentist, he really gets to know you and knows you by name when you go to his office. His office is like a family atmosphere, everyone is so friendly and nice. He is the most thorough dentist I have ever had also, he explains everything to you and answers any questions you have. He is honest and will only do the best for you as his patient. I would recommend anyone to go to Dr. Mike Manasar.
