I will NEVER, and I say this strongly, take my children to any other dentist. I travel a good 40 minutes to see Mike, and his staff. I have 3 children, one with ASD. Today 8/17, Michael was able to do the impossible on her. Usually she FREAKS out, but they offered her the best care. She has 2 crowns and a tooth extraction, this 7 year old little girl, endured more than what my oldest could handle under Novocain and laughing gas. The needles made her nervous, he hid them, I counted to keep her relax. After it was all said and done, she was a little tired, after the numbing went away, this child started bouncing off the walls with NO pain. I've been going to this dentist office since my children were 1 and 2, so about 6 years now. Staff is friendly, welcomes me with smiles, especially when they see my kid/kids. Im comfortable with this man, because he has a very laid back office. When I say your children are in the best care, I really mean that from the bottom of my heart. She's my only one that sadly suffered the bad teeth gene, and my heart aches for her, but she's a trooper! Thank you Michael and your staff.

Nothing but amazing things to say about this doctor. I switched my daughter to here from childrens dental health (the worst dental practice in the world!) because they couldn't handle her dental anxiety and crying. But here, Dr Mike is legitimately the best pediatric dentist I've ever had the pleasure to meet. His bedside manner is top notch, he really genuinely cares about making my daughter comfortable in the chair. 10/10 would recommend! And, I don't mind the 40 minute drive. I'd travel farther to see him! Thank you!

Excellent pediatric dentist! Michael was great with my 5 year old son, explained everything he was doing to do before he did it to make him comfortable. We were referred here to get 4 cavities filled but Michael ended up having to fill only 1, and gave specific instructions on how to care for the other teeth to prevent them from developing into a deeper cavity. The process of getting the cavity filled was very quick (15 minutes) and drama free. Will definitely be back for any of my kids' dental needs.

We absolutely love Dr Mike! My oldest child had a very traumatic experience years ago and wouldn't let anyone so much as clean their teeth. Dr. Mike has been the only one who's been able to get them to sit in the chair for a cleaning! He is very understanding and comforting. He explains what he does before he does it, putting the kids at ease. He's so good at his craft that even my little one will sit still for him! He's able to work on her teeth even with her trying to squirm around and wiggle. I honestly have no idea how he is so good at getting kids to sit down and let him do his procedures. Probably the most important thing about Dr. Mike for us is that he's supportive of the LGBTQ+ community and is extremely respectful. My oldest is non-binary and uses "they/them" pronouns along with a chosen name that's not their birth name. When we told him this Dr. Mike immediately got on the computer and made the changes to their chart himself! We were so blown away at how kind and respectful he was from the moment we informed him of this. (You would be surprised at how some providers are not very supportive or kind when we tell them) I will say that while Dr. Mike and most of his staff have been very good at respecting my child's chosen name and pronouns, they did get misnamed/misgendered. I am hoping that it was just an innocent mistake from not taking the time to read the chart before calling them in from the waiting room, but having worked in an office setting myself it's a bit upsetting knowing just how quick and easy it is to simply look. (As a side note, this is very important to me as a mother since affirming a child's gender by using the correct pronouns can reduce the risk of suicide by 60%!) I hope that this won't continue to happen but I have confidence that if it becomes a problem needing addressed, Dr Mike will be fantastic about kindly educating and guiding his staff to be more mindful and aware of this. Overall I am very pleased with this office and staff. Even with the little hiccup we have had I still rate them 5/5 stars because they really are that fantastic. We are moving and will no longer be close to this office but I am so happy with them that I will gladly make the longer drive to keep my kids as patients here! If you made it through my lengthy review (apologies if it was too long, I just-as a parent-appreciate as much detail as I can get!) I'm assuring you that you won't regret bringing your kids here! As a mother who is maybe a tad bit overprotective (lol) I have full trust in my kids being patients here. Good luck on your search for a pediatric dental provider! :)

We've been going to Dr. Mike for about 9 years. He's really the best with children. He's Honest and doesn't do any unnecessary treatment. Take his advice, he knows what he's talking about. I Highly recommend him to everyone I know.

Just moved to the area. My son's tooth was hurting. Got us in right away and removed 2 baby teeth that were refusing to come out on their own. He treated my son with great care and kindness. I'd give him 6 stars if I could! Good childhood experiences at the dentist lead to adults with good dental hygiene and no dental phobias!!

Teenage daughter didn't like the dentist but liked the hygienist. 9 year old son thought the hygienist was too rough while flossing his teeth. Woman at reception was a bit rude, there was no high welcome to the practice it was insurance card please while she stared at my hat. Dr. Mike did not appear very professional, very scruffy beard, unkept hair and holes in his pants. He did seem to be honest and knowledgeable. Not sure if I'm going back or not, I really dislike rude receptionists!

I've been going to this dentist office for 7yrs. when my son was about 5yrs old we went to smile builders and was told he had two cavities in which they couldn't perform due to his inability of staying still and anxiety and suggested he get sedated put to sleep. I remember calling Mr Mike's office the next day upset with smile builders. I remember he called me back later that afternoon I explAined to him my concerns and the ordeal I endured. He assured me everything will be okay and spoke to me with compassion for my son who has ADHD. The day of performing my son's filling he was able to calm my son and I could tell he's dealt with children who are special needs. Ive always felt respected, and honesty, hes not the kind of dentist that would perform unnecessary work for insurance money or bill for work that was never performed .example a dentist office with a playground and game system, in manor township by regal theater. needless to say I am happy I've returned both my children to the hands of a dentist that I can trust and has always explained his treatment plans with me and my kids. Today I remembered why he's the number one dentist in my book. thank you so much.

AMAZING!! I am so greatful to have found such am AMAZING dentist for my children. Dr Mike takes care of my kids above and beyond my expectations which are extremely high to begin with. I have a special needs child and he is so good with her and makes me feel calm when she gets hard to handle and I panic. I've had 2 kids that needed oral surgery and he took such good care of them and did the best work possible. It's not often a mother finds someone they feel so comfortable with. I'm so greatful I have truly found the BEST. Knowing my kids dental future is in the best hands makes me feel very good.i will never take them anywhere else. Thank you for being so wonderful. All of the staff is absolutely AMAZING.

Dr. Mike and his staff were fantastic with our 6 year old high anxiety daughter. She has been to other dentists and hated the dentist. She was so anxious before the visit and afterwards she exclaimed that she liked the dentist and wanted to come back tomorrow! We couldn't be happier! Dr. Mike listened to all our concerns and talked to our daughter like she was important and a person to be respected. Her other dentists had never been able to get xrays and Dr. Mike's staff had no problem because of the way they treated her. We have found our new dentist!
