Here at the practice of Michael LaCorte DDS PC, we are proud to specialize in pediatric dentistry. We truly believe in starting children off right when it comes to their dental health. It is our goal to ensure that each visit goes well so that they think of the dentists office as a good place. Our entire staff is wonderful with children, allowing them to relax while we care for their teeth.
Our dentists and staff have received extra training for primary teeth. Our goal is to protect your childrens teeth so they can eat and speak correctly. We will do whatever we can to help your children have the bright smiles they deserve.
Dr. Michael LaCorte graduated with honors from New York University College of Dentistry, and completed his pediatric dental residency program at Brookdale Hospital and Medical Center. At Brookdale Hospital, Dr. LaCorte was the recipient of the distinguished Resident of the Year Award and appointed Chief Resident of the Dental Program comprised of the Oral Surgery, Dental Implant, Dental Anesthesia, General and Pediatric Dental programs.
A Diplomat of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. Michael LaCorte is currently on staff with Northwest Medical Center, St. Josephs Hospital, Tucson Medical Center, and University of Arizona Medical Center as a child dental specialist, treating children with neurological, cranial, and/or developmental disabilities. Dr. LaCorte is an adjunct faculty member in pediatrics at the Arizona School of Dental Oral Health A.T. Still University and State Board Examiner for conscious sedation permits. Dr LaCorte currently serves on the Arizona Dental Association board and has been elected President of the Southern Arizona Dental Association for the year 2012.
Dr. Michael LaCorte and staff are up-to-date on issues of dentistry and pediatric needs. Each staff member regularly attends education seminars in pediatric dentistry, keeping them well informed of the latest dental developments and trends. Dr LaCorte has been voted by Tucson Life Style Magazine as one of the Top Pediatric Dentist in Tucson. Dr. Michael LaCorte has been in private practice since 1993.

Liars and scam artists. I called them this morning to see if they had availability to replace a filling which fell out. They confirmed they could do it and based on that, I scheduled the visit for my 6yo son. Not only did they charge over $100 just to look (we already told them exactly what we needed and they never mentioned this exorbitant fee on the phone ), but then they said they couldn't do it that day. My son is in pain. Then they had the nerve to say it would be about $500 just to do this simple thing (remember, all the work had been done...just needs a little cleaning and another filling). I'm flabbergasted. This is borderline fraudulent. You can't bait and switch customers like this. You told us on the phone you could do it today. I gladly would have gone somewhere else, but you assured me you could do it. This is a really scummy way to get $100 guaranteed with an attempt to rip us off even further.

This is an awesome pediatric dentist. Dr. Lacorte and his staff are so nice and so professional. 10 stars to them. They took care of my daughter and they got her in right away to tend to the problems she was having with her teeth! She had to get sedated and they did an awesome job with that as well. So smooth and I did not feel uncomfortable at all. The Anesthesiologist went over everything before and after. Best pediatric dentist I've been too!

Would give ZERO stars if it was an option! Dr Lacorte is a great dentist, but his staff are AWFUL. They are rude and they have no patience with kids with disabilities. The dentist is only a very small portion of the visit all other dealings are with staff and these people are snooty, rude women!

Dr LaCorte is the best pediatric dentist. We tried another dentist in Tucson before moving to his office. His team are friendly, the assistants are kind, courteous and understanding. Dr LaCorte has a wonderful manner in making the kiddos feel comfortable. He explains everything thoroughly and ensures the best care is given. I read a couple one star reviews on here, but they do not reflect this office. Clutch your pearls and move on , Karen.

My daughter was so incredibly nervous and the entire staff was just phenomenal with her! Your front desk team is lovely, your hygienist was amazing and Dr. LaCorte was so kind. Everyone made this a wonderful experience! We are so glad to have you as her dentist! Thank you!

This dentist office is the worst! This is a terrible place to take your family to. The receptionist is VERY rude she will put you on multiple holds without you agreeing to hold and then comes back on the line and treats me like trash and says we are referring you out. My kids have been patients here for quite some time so I was Absurd as to why they would treat me this way when I called to schedule an appointment for my son. So then I request to speak with the dr however they would not let that happen so I spoke with the office manager and She then told me that my son was no longer a patient at there office? I'm thinking what? And why? She had no explanation and no knowledge of why they were referring me out to another provider. You cannot trust them either because she was saying something completely irrelevant and had nothing to do with my son's records and continued to make fables. The staff is so dishonest and degrading stay away from this place!

Best pediatric dentist ever! I live a couple hours away but the drive is well worth it. The front desk staff girls are very friendly and easy to work with. They do an amazing job of keeping scared kids calm and happy. Dr. LaCorte did an amazing job on his teeth and I seriously couldn't be any happier. This will always being my go to dentist for all of my children. Definitely recommend them to anyone in need of a new pediatric dentist.

Don't Waste Your Time! Dr. LaCorte works with an anesthesiologist once a week [pre-COVID-19] for more in-depth dental procedures. Our family dentist recommended Dr. LaCorte for our youngest child's dental needs (2014). I later switched my children to Dr. LaCorte after moving (2017). For a dental emergency or more intensive dental work, Dr. LaCorte is good asset. Children have the option of selecting a prize from the treasure chest after their appointment. The waiting room has activities and video game consoles for the kids. Children's TV programs are shown on screens in patient rooms. The hygienists are friendly and work well with children of all ages and various needs (sensory issues, nervous about the dentist, autism, ADHD, some physical limitations, etc.). Dr. LaCorte is laid back and humorous. The office staff are polite in word but not in tone nor action. Do not come from a working class or lower background. Do not come in unless you are dressed business casual or better (no t-shirt & jeans/shorts). You will be judged for it. Do not have a bad/stressed-out day. You will be met with looks and undertones, not patience or empathy. Do not be part of a split or blended family. Messages are not shared with both parents nor is there any understanding or compassion about how compliant or non-cooperative the other parent is. Do not have a special needs child. Despite their promises of understanding and working with your child's needs, they do not. It is all lip service. The office staff will use all these reasons and more to look for excuses to exclude you from their clinic, including making up things and falsifying records. Then, they will fail to properly communicate with you the "reasons" without taking accountability for their actions nor following the dentist's purported guidelines. All of which further impacts meeting any dental needs of your children. Bottom Line: Don't waste your time. Go somewhere else. They are constantly booked out months in advance except for emergencies that you can get treated elsewhere without the office staff discrimination.

Best pediatric dentist in town. My daughter has been going to Dr. LaCorte sine she had her first tooth. Just had her first tooth pulled. All anxiety and worry as a parent went out the window . As for my daughter too he was able to put her at ease and make her laugh. Great Dr. recommend him to everyone!!!

I walked out of our first appointment today in HAPPY tears. This was the first time my 7yo was able to do X-rays. Ever. The dentist and staff are above and beyond patient and educated in the needs of special needs children. We had our first zero-stress dental experience. I will continue to drive an hour for this practice.

Sorry won't be going back. The staff is nice enough but I am nowhere near satisfied with the performance. A teeth cleaning should take at least 15 to 20 minutes per patient with polish both my sons were finished in less than ten minutes combined. Then the doctor comes in for an "exam" that takes about 30 seconds so now they can Bill the insurance company for that too. They may not care about my kids teeth but I sure do.
