Absolutely the best experience I've had with a doctor's office! The staff are welcoming, supportive, kind, understanding, and more. If I was in the odd position to recommend an oral surgeon they'd definitely be my go to. After getting my wisdom teeth removed they were even able to get me my removed teeth which I greatly appreciated. 11 out of 10 experience!

Dr. LaPuma and his staff are top notch! My teenage son recently had his wisdom teeth removed and the whole experience... from the time I made the appointment over the phone with Daphne, to the consult appointment where we were kindly met by Dr LaPuma and his assistant Brooke, to the actual appointment, (extractions with just local anesthetic) went SOOO smooth... it honestly could not have gone any better!!!! We live in Paso Robles and had originally planned on having the surgery done there, however, both my son and I were nervous about him going under for general anesthesia. Unfortunately in this area, there aren't many (if any) oral surgeons willing to remove wisdom teeth without general anesthesia, so to find Dr LaPuma and to feel so safe and certain that it would not be an issue whatsoever was such a relief!!! My son had heard horror stories from his friends following their extractions and thankfully he did NOT have that experience. We were both shocked and so impressed with not only how quickly the procedure was done but how minimal the post op recovery was. Thank you SO much Dr LaPuma and Brooke! You guys are truly an Amazing team! I work in the dental field and will definitely pass this great experience on- along with a referral to anyone in need of a good oral surgeon :)

I can't say enough good things to really express what Dr La Puma , Daphne & Brooke & his other wonderful staff are to me & I'm sure so many others! I've been in process of getting four implant starting in April and 9 mos later I am still amazed by these people . I've never been in a doctor situation with so many genuine and hearty people in one office Very qualified and really good at what they do. My time with them is almost up, my implants are going to be be finished up here very soon and I can honestly say from my heart , that I will miss these good people. They have become a family to me and soon I will post pics of my implants to go with this review. If u want to feel like family and get great dental care, this is the place for you. This is not a paid sponsor & I rarely even review places But when they are good , they should be mentioned.

Cannot say enough about the kindness, diligence and professionalism demonstrated by Dr "Mike" La Puma and his wonderful staff. I came in with a nasty infection, a 102 degree fever, and my cheek swollen like a baseball. Their staff admitted be in quickly, got me in a chair and Dr La Puma got me the appropriate antibiotics, pain medication, and pre-op medication to calm me down in record time. The next morning they had me in, put me under, and operated on me, pulling 3 teeth including the infected one. I was extremely apprehensive about being operated on while having such a severe infection going on, but Dr La Puma quelled the tension with ease and precisely fixed my problem. I felt ZERO pain after the operation (I was put under during) and was back to normal after just 2 days of recovery, while self-administering the process of antibiotics and self care he prescribed. I could not have asked for any better experience. From the initial visit to both post ops, Dr La Puma even called me personally to make sure I was doing well the day of surgery. Please do not take your business anywhere but here. 10/10.

Charged me twice for services that were already paid in the "package price." Also i piad for tori "extra bone growth removal" on upper tori on bottom and top bones.i didn't see any signs of removal on top and he shaved more off my right side than on the left. Because of that I have not been able to eat with my bottom dentures in. Causing much pain pain when I wear them. The office has agreed to take one adjustment off the bill but expects me to pay for for two additional adjustments. I was told by my main dentist that all adjustments were included. I am contacting delta dental insurance to let them know what is going on and also consumer affairs. I'll post more details with the resolution. After much stress and time waisted they agreed to credit the charges. My advice is get a complete paid in full receipt.

He made me feel at ease and comfortable during the surgery and I felt like I was in safe hands.
