Here at the office of Michael L. Gordon, DMD, we are proud to specialize in pediatric dentistry. We truly believe in starting children off right when it comes to their dental health. It is our goal to ensure that each visit goes well so that they think of the dentists office as a good place. Our entire staff is wonderful with children, allowing them to relax while we care for their teeth.

Pediatric Dentist in Cincinnati, OhioDr. Michael L. Gordon is a native of New York state. After attending the University of Pittsburgh for undergraduate education in Biology and Math he attended the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry. Dr. Gordon spent two additional years Post Doctoral Training at the Cincinnati Childrens Hospital earning his Pediatric Dental Residency degree. He has been a member of the Attending Dental Staff from that time forward. The program is nationally recognized for providing hands on experience to Pediatric dentists who treat infants, children and adults with special needs. The program is hospital based and provides a in depth nationally recognized training in Operating/Surgical Room Pediatric Dentistry. To stay current with the newest advancements in the pediatric dental field, Dr. Gordon remains committed to continuing education. This involves taking advanced courses in pediatric dentistry, orthodontics, conscious sedation, and many other topics while still in practice.
When not working Dr. Gordon is a artist. Works are made with exotic and domestic hardwoods on a lathe. Various materials including Glass Beads and weavers reeds are incorporated as design elements. His works have been shown in Cincinnati Summerfair, Wyoming Artfair, galleries, and the Ohio Craft Museum in Columbus.

Lazy doctors. My kid had teeth almost out but he didn't even take it out. Said it's gonna fall off itself the problem is the baby teeth which is already long and bent. When I called them for appointment they changed different day twice time and finally the appointment arrived but make me wait 2 hours.. I don't recommend this doctor.

appointment was a waste of time on a 30 degree weather day when they should have told me that prior to appt they were not going to be able to help my son even though it needs to be done urgently said dr himself and they have already known before hand that it was an urgent case. I do not recommend anyone taking their children there.

Waited 45 minutes for a 5-minute check up. Doctor blamed the staff shortage after pandemic. But it's not new. Don't get overbooked! Last appointment was 6 months ago which was even worse. Waited for an hour in the waiting room and waited for another 45 minutes after my daughter numbed.

They were great! My daughters first time to the dentist and they were so patient with her and showed her everything they were going to using so she wasn't scared! Deff recommend to others!

Dr Gordon was so sweet with my toddler. He comforted her by allowing her to touch the dental tools so she wouldn't be afraid. He was very patient along with the rest of the staff. I've been taking my children there a couple years now and always recommend it to anyone who's looking!

Do not take your child here unless you want them to be traumatized. While we were waiting for the dentist, a little girl was screaming, at one point all we heard was gurgling. Instead of comforting her, like a pediatric dentist should, he told her to stop moving because she was making it worse. And then snapped at the mother for trying to comfort her. Not only that but he completely misdiagnosed my son, which we found out after seeking a second opinion. We won't be returning, he needs to retire and not to work with children if he's just going to get mad and irritated when a child cries.
