Dr. Michael Bailey Dr. Bailey is a very fun-loving, athletic, hard-working guy. He was born in Indiana and spent his childhood in northern Illinois. He is a transplant to Colorado, but don't worry he won't tell anyone from the Midwest that it is absolutely wonderful to live in Colorado! Dr. Bailey received his Doctorate in Dental Surgery and Bachelors in Dentistry at the University of Illinois in Chicago after earning his Bachelor's of Science Degree from the University of Wisconsin Madison, he is an avid Badger fan!

Dr. Bailey met his wife, Stacie in 1999, and they married in 2003. Their son, Aidan was born in May 2006. Aidan shares space, food, attention, and treats with Ibis the Wiemeriener and Koda the Golden Retriever (we lost Birk our rescue dog April 2010). The family loves the outdoors hiking, biking, skiing, swimming you name it. Dr. Bailey is also an aficionado of cars old ones in particular. He has a project car, but is often so busy with the family and work that it collects more dust than new parts. He still loves to browse local and regional car shows to get new ideas and appreciate the hard work of others.

Dr. Bailey 's experience in dentistry is coupled with genuine concern for his patients. He is a perfectionist and loves nothing more than a happy patient with a beautiful smile. He strongly believes that everyone deserves a great smile. 'I 've seen so many people gain a strong sense of self-confidence with a naturally beautiful smile!'. In addition to running his own practice, Dr. Bailey volunteers during days off at Dental Aid, the first not-for-profit pediatric dental clinic in the U.S., and the primary Medicaid provider in Boulder County for children.

Dr. Bailey is fantastic; a true professional. I had a minor emergency and was without a dentist. Dr. Bailey was able to get me in right away for an exam and back the very next week for treatment. Professional, clean office, friendly staff. I highly recommend Superior Dental!

I had a schedule teeth cleaning appointment today, 28APR2021, and after the hygentist took my blood pressure (BP) they refused to do my cleaning. Then I received an email from the receptionist, Stephanie, who documented my BP numbers and tried to justify their actions. This is a clear violation of my HIPAA rights since this receptionist is not a medical professional and that is confidential medical information. This is very disturbing! -- By a now former patient.

I've had nothing but great experiences with Dr. Bailey and his staff. I have found them to be friendly, efficient, and do a great job. I started going there because of convenience but continue because they have done great by me.

Great staff, I like the hygienist I've been seeing and Dr Bailey seems to know what he's talking about. I haven't had any issues with the billing department. I don't know - maybe just pay your bills and you won't have issues? The doctor and I have been watching a spot on an old filling and he didn't unnecessarily recommend work (which my old dentist used to do). Now since we've been watching we both agree a filling needs to be redone as we can see some spots at the edge of the filling that are slightly changing. I will report back after my first filling with Dr Bailey since I've only had cleanings and Xrays so far. Update: I've been going here four years and love it. Everyone is super nice. I haven't had unnecessary work recommended (like my old dentist) and the work that has been done is solid with no issues. Thank you Dr Bailey and team!

All in the office are professional and kind (and it's exceptionally clean). I'm happy to be one of their patients. Dr. Bailey performed a difficult procedure, giving me guidance all the way. Thanks to all.

Be careful of this office. My family has had to have all of the work done by Dr Bailey re- placed. Fillings were not done properly and failed ..Crowns fell out because Dr Bailey never bonded the teeth...etc...Sadly this is not the worst part of our experience...Stacy, the front desk person was aggressive and completely unprofessional when I called her as she claimed it was because we didn't take care of our teeth. The reviews for this office on yelp tell the story ..I would hate for anyone to go through what my family has been through because of Dr. Bailey. There are great professional dentists out there..Dr Bailey just isn't one of them.

15 years ago, Dr. Bailey did vaneer work on multiple teeth for me. Since then, every time I visited him, he would hold my mouth and comment what a good job he did on me. I was laughing inside. Years later, we moved out of the area. I changed my dentist too. Every time I see them, a different set of doctors/nurses would hold my mouth and make the same comment. I am very impressed! It has been 15 years and the work still looks and feels the same. I am glad he did a wonderful work on me.

When I first moved our to Colorado, my mother in law recommend I try this place out. For the first two years I was out here, I went to Dr. Bailey's office and it was amazing. I had to switch healthcare plans due to a new job and the commute was too far but after dealing with my new doctors/dentists I miss this place ! I always felt like they truly cared about me and I highly recommend this dentist to anyone.

I don't recommend Bailey for these reasons: 1. Concerns on this dentist's competence, 2. The way their office manager treated me, and 3. Unethical billing practice. To be fair, I liked most other staff in the office: the nurses and especially hygienist Paulette. My problems are with the dentist and the office manager Stacie. This dentist had to do 3 times for one filling on my tooth due to recurring pain during a few months. Each time I had to be numbed, the existing filling removed, and retried another one, until the 3rd time I was told it would be the "kitchen sink" which eventually held. I was just about to quit! Each time he'd come up with some explanation and I wondered how come he didn't think of it and do it correctly the first time! Just like Christine Y. commented on Yelp, I found the office manager Stacie was rude! I also want to add that I found her eager to fight for some reason. I feel that she's a liability to the business. I recall immediately after a procedure while my lips were still numb and couldn't really talk properly, she slapped a statement in front of me, and demanded for me to pay. There were a couple other times, when I noticed that I had paid per their estimated amount but it was more than I should after the insurance payment, and later asked her for a refund but the refund checks never showed up. The worst one was for a charge of a few hundred dollars last year to replace a broken crown. They didn't bother to explain to me about the charge in advance while I was under the impression that it was part of the whole charge of a crown replacement, and afterwards slapped the extra charge on me. Later the dentist himself said that part of the reason was that he'd be traveling and they couldn't schedule me in. I also realized later that another dentist across the street can take care of the issue during the same day while I had to wait for 3 weeks and pay extra with Bailey. When I disputed the charge, Stacie basically said that since I didn't ask, therefore it's my responsibility to pay, she even threatened me with collection, attorney, and the fact I have signed a contract with them to pay whatever amount is charged to me when I came to this office the first time. I feel I had enough. I found another dentist, and double-checked their practice. I was told that they don't have these issues I had with Bailey. I would keep my fingers crossed, and hope for the best. Good luck with your search. 3/13/16 update: I also want to add that this dentist seems to be arrogant. They responded to my review by saying there isn't much truth in the review. I want to emphasize that this review is all truth and facts. To this dentist, please be specific on which one of the 3 you are trying to deny: 1. the fact you'd redone filling for one tooth for 3 times because you couldn't get it done correctly the first time, and the 2nd time, 2. your office manager's rudeness, and later your rudeness, to patients (not just me, see yelp review for others), 3. unethical billing practice. 6/14/17 update: The crown Dr. Bailey put in for me came off in Mar. It lasted 18 months. The dentist who cemented it back for me said the 2nd crown could be more likely to fail than the original one. I hope it's true. Two fillings (out of 3) Dr. Bailey did for me failed recently including the one he did 3 times. They became loose, and decay showed up under one of them. They had to be redone and one of them had to be redone as a costly onlay.

I have been seeing Dr. Bailey for years now, and I can honestly say he's the best dentist I've ever had. The staff is wonderful, the location and service is great, and I'm honestly not looking forward to the day that he decides to retire (as far off as that may be).
