Michael Kim, DDS, aims to provide optimum and appropriate dental care for patients of all ages at his practice in Mequon, Wisconsin. Although providing preventive and general dental care is a priority, he also emphasizes restoring teeth to a healthy state so you look your best and your bite feels natural.

A native of Mequon, Dr. Kim graduated from Marquette University High School and then Marquette University. He continued his postgraduate education at Marquette University School of Dentistry. His first practice was located in Fox Point, Wisconsin, and, after outgrowing the location, he moved back to open a state-of-the-art facility in Mequon. He avidly pursues continuing education to always meet the needs of his patients. He greatly values the personal relationships and trust he develops with his patients. He takes the time to get to know every patient individually.

Dr. Kim is active in the community as a member of the Mequon Thiensville Sunrise Rotary Club. He also participates with the Crown Council in the yearly Smiles for Life fundraiser, which raises money for childrens charities by donating the proceeds of teeth-whitening services. Hes a fan of science fiction. Dr. Kim is also married with 4 beautiful children.

Melissa Lentz, DDS, is focused on providing excellent service and compassionate dental care to all patients. Dentistry is truly her passion and she enjoys helping her patients build beautiful smiles through cosmetic and restorative procedures. She is interested in cosmetic dentistry, sleep and airway management and is an Invisalign Certified Provider. Dr. Lentz is a graduate of Fairfield University in Connecticut where she earned her bachelors degree. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Marquette University. Dr. Lentz has practiced in the Milwaukee area and has experience with patients of all ages. She is excited to be practicing with Dr. Michael Kim in Mequon.

As a published researcher, she prides herself on practicing evidence-based dentistry. She works to pursue the most up to date techniques and procedures through continuing education and is a dedicated member of the American Dental Association, Wisconsin Dental Association and the Washington Ozaukee County Dental Society.

Dr. Lentz was born and raised outside of Chicago and now proudly resides in Mequon with her husband and 2 children. Dr. Lentz is an avid community member. She is a volunteer with Junior Womens Club of Mequon/ Thiensville and sits on the board. She is a volunteer dentist with Team Smile and Freedom Day.

Shela joined Dr Kims practice in 2016. She has 24 years of dental assisting knowledge in general, cosmetic, sedation and oral surgery. Shela loves working with an amazing Dr and team. She lives in Waubeka, the home of flag day. She lives with her husband, son and 2 dogs. She enjoys gardening and traveling.

Courtney joined Dr Kims practice in 2018. She has 10 years of dental experience as a former Dental assistant and still loves working with all the patients. Courtney grew up in Cedarburg but now resides in Mequon with her 2 children and dog. In her free time she enjoys going to her families lake home in northern Wisconsin and baking.

Shannon joined Dr Kims practice in July 2019. She has been in the dental field for 21 years. Shannon has experience in many areas of the office. She and her husband live in Grafton with their 6 children. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, cooking and baking. She loves working with Dr. Kim, the rest of the team and all the wonderful patients.

Shirley was born and raised in Lima, Peru. She graduated from Gertrude Hanks High School in Peru, then came to the United States and completed her Dental Hygiene degree at Milwaukee Area Technical College in 2012. Shirley has been working in the dental field since 2005 in the United States. When she joined Dr. Kims team, she worked as a dental assistant from 2007 to 2010. After a few years away from our practice, Shirley returned and has been working on our team as a hygienist since 2014, and she is a great team player! She enjoys interacting with her patients and helping them achieve optimal oral health. Shirley is married and has 2 children.

Shirley joined Dr Kims practice in 2015, and has been working in the dental field for over 30 years. As part of her job Shirley helps our patients with their insurance, which can often be a challenge, but she loves it. Shirley has 3 children and 5 grandchildren. Family is very important to her and she loves to spend time with her grandchildren. In fact, Shirley loves taking pictures of those special moments with her family that they often run and hide. In her free time, Shirley enjoys dirt track racing and is a avid Green Bay Packer fan.
