I had a root canal done with Dr. Tisdale. I switched dentists after said root canal took Dr. Tisdale over 4 hours to complete. The crown broke many years later and I ended up losing the tooth. I went for multiple opinions before having it pulled. All 3 dentists said that had Dr. Tisdale not destroyed the structure of my toothwhen doing the root canal, I would've been long at a new crown instead of losing the tooth and getting an implant. Good enough for cleanings but if you need real work, see a real dentist!

I used Dr. Tisdelle for years while living in Charlottesville and I can say without a doubt that I have the healthiest mouth and best smile today because of going here.

I am highly impressed by their service and I am also thankful to them because I had pain in my upper left tooth and they give me an appointment to visit same day. The environment in the clinic is super friendly. Dr. Tisdelle knows his job pretty well and explained everything to me regarding my condition.

I have been coming here since moving to the area last year. His entire staff is friendly, accommodating, and always makes an effort to have me seen in a timely manner. Would definitely recommend!

I've had rough experiences in the past at the dentist, so I am often tentative when I go. However, I am new to the area and decided to give this office a try. I was extremely impressed with my appointment. The employees at the front desk were so polite and made the insurance/billing process simple and smooth. The dental hygienist and dentist worked thoroughly, but carefully; so many times I've left other dentists in unnecessary pain and comfort. Not this time. Thank you for a great experience! I will definitely be referring this office to my friends and colleagues.

We moved the Charlottesville a year ago, and found Tisdelle through a quick google search. When I called to see if the office took my insurance, I spoke with a really helpful staff member who warmly welcomed me to the area when she realized why I was looking to establish care. Getting my records transferred over was super easy and my two routine exams there have been a breeze thus far. I've been more than happy with my experience and would recommend this office to anyone.

I have been a patient of Dr. T's for well over 10 years. Pat & Dr. T are always so kind, caring, & cheerful. I appreciate the family atmosphere, asking if you need water, checking on you to be sure they know of recent medical changes, etc. They are willing to work with you through emails to confirm those appointments and no waiting at appointments when scheduled. First found them when I need a root canal - which was my 1st ever dental surgery. They made it as easy and with little discomfort. I needed help with temporary cap before I got my permanent crown - I called after hours & received help ASAP. I want to keep my teeth in tip top condition with preventive measures. They make sure to keep up with my 6 month checkups and always keep me smiling. I've only had 2 dentists in my life and I feel grateful that Dr. T goes the extra mile for his patients.

I have been using Dr. Tisdelle as my dentist for about three years. He is a very good dentist and shows sincere concern for his patients. He gladly answers any questions or concerns. His dental hygienist is excellent. I have very sensitive teeth and can rarely get a dental cleaning without experiencing pain. The dental hygienist here is excellent , very careful and gentle. I experience no pain. One of Dr. Tisdelle main goals is to make sure that the patient is comfortable during a procedure. After years of dreading going to the dentist, I truly appreciate this.
