Dr. Michael J. Paesani grew up in western Maryland near Deep Creek Lake, MD. After graduating from Southern Garrett High School, he went on to study Biochemistry at Western Maryland College, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. In addition to recognition for overall academic excellence, he also received several distinguished honors and awards including induction into Phi Beta Kappa a prestigious honor society whose past members include 17 US Presidents and 39 Supreme Court Justices.
Dr. Paesani was also inducted into Beta Beta Beta the premiere biology honor society in the United States. Dr. Paesani then chose to pursue his graduate education at The University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, his first choice institution to entering into his selected field of dentistry.
After four years of preparation and hard work, he decided that a general practice residency would provide the advanced training necessary to deliver the best possible care to his patients. The industry-praised Veterans Affairs Medical Center in West Palm Beach, FL gave Dr. Paesani the opportunity to further expand his skill set in several phases of dentistry including root canal therapy, dental implants, oral surgery, and the treatment of medically compromised patients. Dr. Paesani was able to effectively utilize his skills at Davie Dental, a family oriented private practice in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
Looking for an opportunity to move closer to his hometown, Dr. Paesani met with Dr. Lawrence Banker about his thriving practice near Arlington, VA, as Dr. Banker was beginning his transition into retirement. The two quickly discovered that they shared similar philosophies on their conservative approaches to patient treatment, with a significant emphasis on long-term patient care. In September 2012, Dr. Paesani relocated to the greater-Washington, DC area, and began practicing full-time in Falls Church, VA with Dr. Banker.
Dr. Paesani has also taken numerous evening and weekend courses related to implant dentistry and root canal therapy. Since completing his residency program in 2008, Dr. Paesani has amassed hundreds of hours of continuing education.

Hurt me badly, drilled into the pulp of my tooth, got an infection and had to go to another dentist to fix the problem, very expensive and painful.

We - my whole family of four, including two young children - have been going to Dr. Paesani's Dental Studio for several years now and we always receive amazing, top quality, professional service. His staff is highly skilled, friendly, gentle, and all around great to work with. We've had nothing but excellent care and service by Dr. Paesani and his team!

I wish I could leave a nice review but I can't. If you want a dentist who cares more about money than patients than this is the place for you. First, you basically have to take a day off to fit their schedule which ends at 5 & is closed F-Sun. Second, they make you pay when you arrive and then again when you leave. Third, if there is an insurance issue, they make zero attempt to contact you. This practice (under Dr. Banker) used to care. Now they just care about profits. Avoid! Edit: If you were actually concerned, you would've responded to my letter sent on November 15th. I waited more than two months for a reply but after receiving none, decided to submit my review. Dr. Paesani was referred to my bf and I by a good friend. We are extremely happy to have his practice in the neighborhood. I can easily say this place is probably the best out of all dentists that I have ever been to/experienced. Dr. Paesani + team are all professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable. They make sure to walk you through every procedure and put you at ease every step of the way.

NOVA made every effort to fit me in. As a temporary resident to the neighborhood I had a critical issue with a wisdom tooth that needed attention. NOVA got me in within two days and corrected my problem. Great staff, helpful, and caring. I would definitely return with any dental issues I might have! Thanks!

I had a great experience! Dr. Paesani was gentle, & he explained what he was doing & why every step of the way. His assistant, Dana was very experienced & easy to talk to. She put me at ease. I have been twice so far. The dental hygienist, Diane was also very nice, gentle , & thorough. His receptionist, Genete is very good at her job, & nice.

I love this dental practice! The team is professional, thorough and friendly. Today I was just in for my 6 month cleaning. But, I've had emergency issues in the past that were dealt with immediately. Plus, it's easily accessible with no parking issues, and in Falls Church, that's a real plus!

Dr. Paesani and all of his people - Ginette, Nicole, Dana are the ones I know best- are really great: smart, fun, know their stuff. I've been a patient since Dr. Paesani took over from Dr. Banker, also a wonderful dentist, and could not be happier. Aside from the regular six-month check-ups, I fell and smashed my front teeth a few years ago. While I don't recommend this, needing a bridge implanted is an excellent way to get to know your dentist and all of his people. Falls Church is lucky to have him. Go see for yourself.

Dr Paesani's modus operandi is conservative professional dental care. He capped my two incisors and they match perfectly. Dana and Nicole are the ultimate compassionate professionals and fun to be around. My heart goes out to all of you as you try to make it work during during this covid 19 crisis.

I have absolutely loved being a patient at this practice and I am sad to be leaving them (I am relocating out of state). Dr. Paesani is gentle, reassuring, and talks you through the process to make sure you understand what is going on and what needs to be done. He is cautious and never suggests work to be done that is not absolutely necessary and never pressures you to complete certain procedures (which I have experienced at other dental practices). All of the team are professional, kind, and incredibly uplifting and calming. Calming music, massage chairs, gentle hands, and wonderful smiles await you if you go here as a practice. I particularly like working with Nicole. I am sad to be leaving this practice. After many years of dreading the dentist and not being sure how best to take care of my teeth, I truthfully feel that Dr. Paesani and his office have allowed me to trust again and get through an appointment without questioning or dread.

There is only one word to describe my visit to see Dr. PaesaniI yesterday which is "Excellent". Dr. Paesani listened to my complaints with empathy, did a thorough evaluation and then took time to discuss with me what his findings were and what to do to address them. I couldn't have asked for anything more. Dr. Paesani is an outstanding doctor. I am happy that he is our family's dentist. I highly recommend him to anybody who needs dental care.
